Chapter 96- Sickening

I know Ley's kid is turning 1 years old. I’ve been keeping track of things on the tribe, but my focus has been taken over by Savyn. Everything she does and everything she says has me hypnotized. I was lost in my thoughts when she snuck up on me.
“BOO!!” she said loudly. I flipped around and picked her up from the scare. “Whoa! What are you thinking about?” she responded. “You” I told her. “And what else?” she shot back. I feel like she can read me like a book. She has been doing that since we marked each other. “Is nothing” I said a bit too rough.
“I’m sorry” she said almost in a whisper. She began to walk away, and I pulled her towards me. “Please don’t leave. Is on me, I’m sorry” I said looking her in the eyes. “I’ll tell you everything”. I sat her down and told her everything about my past and the plans I’ve been working on for decades. I also let her know about my worries if we ever got found.
She was crying by the time I finished telling her everything. “Wh-what are you going to do now?” she asked me while whimpering. “I don’t know. For the first time I don’t have a plan and haven’t been able to come up with one” I responded. She came up to me and held me tight. “I think is time you make things right for our family” she spoke up.
“There is no one else but you Savy”. “Actually, is the 3 of us” she whispered. I looked up and I knew my jaw dropped to the floor. “What do you mean? Are you expecting my pup?” I could barely get the words out. She nodded with excitement. “You must make it right so our pup can have you in its life and so could I. I know the man you are” she spoke with a sweet tone. “How am I supposed to make it right besides running away?” I responded harshly.
Before she reacted I immediately apologized. I held her tight as if my life depended on it. I know the moment I show my face, or they find me, I’m a dead man.
Lexy
My pups seemed to have gone through a little grow spurt. Their words were now sentences and they were running like if they were 5 years old. We began to potty train with how fast they were understanding things. Only a week has passed since their birthdays, and I still can’t believe has been that long.
I attended another meeting that at this point I find useless and a waste of time. Is the same conversations and same reports. There was still no sign of Cecel but at this point I was just focusing on creating a safe world for everyone and my kids. As the meeting finished I began to have a sense of dread.
I began to feel sick and almost couldn’t hold my breakfast down. I couldn’t explain what it was just that it was really bad. Dad noticed and let everyone out quickly. CJ picked up on dads’ queue and as soon as the room was empty they rushed towards me. Dad brought me a cup of water while CJ rubbed my back.
Once I was able to catch my breath I looked at them and explained what happened. “Something bad is going to happen. I physically felt sick from a feel of dread. I’m not sure what or who but it feels bad”. They both looked at me and looked at each other. “Do you think it has to do with Cecel?” Dad asked. “Honestly dad, I have no idea” I responded feeling defeated at that moment.
“Don’t worry muñeca. We will work together and figure it out. We will take your warning seriously and move cautiously” CJ spoke up while holding my hand. “My queen. You have visitors” I heard someone say from the door. I looked up, but before I could respond someone else walked in with a huge smile hollering “HEY GIRLY!!”.
“OMG! You’re here!” I responded with enthusiasm. I stood up and proceeded to hug her. Yarielis had finally made it. Her duties had kept her away from visiting. As I hugged her I noticed Alex walking in also smiling big. As I looked at Yarielis I noticed a glow and sensed another life in the room.
“Are you pregnant?” I asked her without letting her talk. “How did you do that? We came to tell you and see our nieces and nephews” she responded. “I’m sorry. I felt the pup vibes and you are glowing. Plus look at Alex huge smiling face” I chuckled as I responded.
“Yeah, yeah my queen” Alex responded with a mocking bow. “Very funny. Come here and give me a hug bro”. We all hugged, greeted and congratulated each other. We took a seat and asked Lily to bring us drinks and snacks. Lily was my maiden. She was young and still in training, but I loved her personality. As I got myself back to the conversation Alex asked something.
“Is there something happening? You guys seem a bit off”. Dad, CJ and I looked at each other and then I sighed. “Is it that obvious?” I asked. They both nodded their heads in respond. “I’m sorry. I got a bad sense that something much worse is coming our way. I can’t explain it in words but….” I was telling me when I was interrupted. “You don’t need to explain yourself. We trust you” Yarielis spoke up while holding my hand. I looked at Alex who had his arm on her shoulder agreeing with her statement.
Their response took me by surprise but made me feel the love. “Ok. since we can’t do much right now and have no clues, let’s go enjoy our day” I said as I clapped my hands together. We all stood up and showed them the tribe and our people. By lunch time we had made it to the private kids’ playroom and eat with them. They became obsessed with Yarielis and her belly.
After lunch we played with the kids and the love radiating in this room is magnificent.
