Chapter 85- Final Preparations

These past couple of days I’ve been able to keep a closer eye on Pokine and how he moves. I broke into his office last night while everyone slept and went over all his paperwork. He had some of my notes, but he was missing a lot of the information I kn0w. This is how I will be using him to keep him in line and understand how this partnership works.

We were 3 days away from battle day and I still was holding the upper hand. I wasn’t going to let anyone know how much I’ve recovered by that day. I’ve been preparing some things that I will let Pokine know tomorrow to use in battle. I’m very confident I will get what I want no matter how much they try.

A couple of days ago we received the response from Alpha Pokine and in 3 days we will be in battle. I’ve been focus on our plan and training but still give my kids all my attention when I’m with them. I don’t know the outcome of what’s to come but I know what I’m fighting for and for who.

3 days before the battle begins and we are all very calm. Later today Alpha Trevor’s warrior will be arriving to assist along more of dad’s pack soldiers from Greece. Once they get here we will be going over all the plans and showing them the layout of the land. After catching them up with our plans we will do the training together.

I decided to help Lala in the kitchen and prepare dinner for everyone before the warriors arrived. Mom, CJ and dad were with the pups keeping them busy. I took a picture of them before heading to the kitchen. 2 hours later dinner was ready, and the warriors arrived an hour earlier than expected. Dad took that opportunity to catch them up while dinner was still being made. Now we are all sitting at the dinner tables enjoying the food and conversations with everyone.

After dinner, we went to the conference room and finished catching up with our plans. We finished the night with a long couple of hours of training, but no one looked like they were tired instead everyone was laughing and conversating about it. “Alright everyone, let’s get cleaned up and get some rest. Will pick up in the early in the morning around 7 am. breakfast will be served at 6” I spoke to everyone. Everyone bowed in acknowledgement and then walked their own way.

CJ was in the shower before me since I stayed back for a bit to speak to dad. I chose to quietly walk in behind him and wrapped my arms around him. He was startled by my actions and jumped a bit. I chuckled at his reaction, and he turned around and said, “So you think is funny?”. He picked me up and pinned me to the shower walls.

Before I could say anything he put his lips on mine and kissed me roughly but passionately. He began to devour me like I was his last meal. I dug my nails in his back while he kissed my neck where he marked me. He entered me with force and Lei wanted to come out and take over. I tried hard to hold back my animalistic way, but she won in the end.

I could tell CJ had the same internal battle and I couldn’t help but laugh. Lei growled at me, but it sounded different. I couldn’t explain it, but I couldn’t concentrate on how heavy we were getting. His touch sent an amazing sensation all through my body. It was like a whole new feeling, and I wanted more. “Mas papi” I moaned to him. That got him excited, and he gave me more.

He gave me an unforgettable night of passion until I turned it around on him and I left him breathless. By the time we finished I just fell asleep on his chest. I was woken up by the alarm and I jumped out of bed. I felt a bit tired after last night, but I was setting an example for everyone and couldn’t start slacking, especially now.

I was a couple of minutes late to start breakfast with Lala, but all she did was smile at me. We finished with breakfast just as everyone began to walk in for breakfast. After breakfast we began our training for the last time. I decided to leave tomorrow to enjoy it and relax. Dad thought it was a great idea for everyone’s mental state. Lala wants to make a traditional battle meal for lunch tomorrow but doesn’t want me to help.
The new warriors’ jaws kept dropping to the floor with the way Kamira and I kept training. We were aggressive but accurate. “Make sure you guys never hesitate with your movements. Learn to assess while in the middle of battle. It will help you see the best action you’ll need to defeat the enemy” I instruct after finishing a move with Kamira.

Kamira and I have become closer even though she fought it at first. She didn’t know how to act around me without the formalities, but I have my ways. After a long morning of training I had everyone take a 2 hour break to eat lunch and rest up before moving on with planning. I was feeling super confident, and I knew it was helping everyone else feel the same way with what was coming.

I spent my break with my babies hearing them laugh and getting into trouble. We got their last checkup earlier this week and Dr. Bennett gave us all the green light. Everyone is healthy and the kids are a bit bigger than a normal pup but is not surprising since they are ‘hybrid royalty’ as she says. It puts a smile to see them run around the place.

Tomorrow before the sunsets, mom, Lala and a couple of the sacred warriors will leave for the secret hideout. If anything should go wrong they know what to do. We left everything ready no matter what way it ends up. Mom was worried but understood what I was asking and promised to do everything to keep my babies safe. Kamira picked the warriors that would guard them and keep them safe.

I kissed all my babies and left for the training grounds again. We worked really hard and by the end of the day even the warriors that arrived yesterday were synced with us. “Your highness, since we got here we’ve been feeling a sense of determination, but mainly peace. Even though we are going into battle we feel at peace” one of the new arrivals tells me.

“How come?” I ask. “We didn’t understand at first but after watching you train with us it all makes sense. You are the one keeping us leveled” he responded. “Is not just me. Is the hard work everyone has put to defend what we love and who we love” I responded with a smile. He bowed and then smiled at me. “We will protect you and what we stand for”. With that he walked back to the group.
Knowing that the people I lead believe in me so strongly made my heart warm and my mind more assertive with how I’m doing things.
