Chapter 11- Date

She looked so beautiful riding her bike. I’m so mesmerized by her. I headed home to get myself ready for our date. Good thing my house was only a 5-minute walk from the packhouse. I decided to wear my green graphic T-shirt, long black jeans and my green and black Jordans. I decided to let my curls hang but put on my green and black hat. As soon as I was ready I stepped out of my room and straight to the kitchen, where I end up finding my family siting at. I swear we spend too much time in this kitchen.
The moment I stepped in everyone was staring at me. “Donde vas así de guapo?” ‘Where are you going looking so handsome?’ my mother asked with a big smile. I couldn’t help by smiling back as I answered, “Just going to town to hang out.” “Well before you go, open your last gift” she said enthusiastic. I was about to respond when I saw the small box on top of the table. “Happy birthday mijo. Enjoy!” When I open it, is a key to a Ford. “No, you didn’t?!” is all I can say. “Go outside and check it out” my dad motioned outside. I opened the back door and there it was. A Ford Raptor in all black. How did I miss seeing it earlier. I ran to it and then ran back to my parents and picked them up in a hug. “Go have fun. And stay safe” my parents say smiling. “Thank you so much. I love you guys. You’re the best parents anyone could ask for.” My mom teared up at my words.
I got in my new truck and began to head to the packhouse. I can’t believe is mine. I can’t wait to show the guys but first let me see where Lexy’s at. As I unlock my phone to text her, I hear the roar of a bike. ‘MATE’ Xazul spoke. ‘Congratulations on the truck.’ ‘You do know technically is for both of us’ I respond with a chuckle. I arrived at the packhouse a couple of seconds after her. I immediately spotted her, and my jaw dropped. ‘Spectacular’ Xazul says while wagging his tail. ‘You’re drooling’ I chuckle. ‘So are you’ he said laughing. I wiped off my drool. I parked right next to her bike and got off to greet her. She takes her helmet off and she leaves me speechless.
After I got off my truck is when she realized that it was me in the truck. She gave me a sweet, shy smile and my heart skipped a beat. I don’t know what came over me, but I just walked straight to her, grabbed her by the waist with one arm and the back of her head with the other. Brought her face straight to mine and kissed her. What surprised me was that she responded to me with no hesitation. After what felt like an eternity of kissing we separated and took a breath. “Wow!” is all that came out. I hadn’t even given her the chance to get off her bike.
“Hi” is all she said. I let her get off the bike and I grabbed her hand and led her to the passenger side. I opened the door for her, and she had no problem getting in. I close the door and go around to get in the driver seat. As I start driving off she says “Nice ride. Smells like new.” “My parents just gifted it to me as a birthday gift this morning” I responded with a huge smile. “So, where are we going to?” she asked shily. “I thought maybe some lunch at my favorite burger place and after you can decide.”
It took us 15 minutes to get to the burger shop called Larry’s Burger Joint. We get off my truck and head inside to order. Once we got our food, we sat on the terrace. “Tell me your story Lexy. What brings you and your family here?” I ask softly. She hesitated to take a bite of her burger the moment I asked that. She put her burger down and sighed.
“Is just my mother and me. And we just move around a lot. My mother likes to explore” she responded coldly. I decided to not push and change the conversation. “I’m glad you ended here. Now I won’t have to look for my mate.” Her eyes became huge, and she seemed shocked for a moment. She began to blush. “You’re really cute when your blushing” I couldn’t help myself. She got redder.
“What’s your story playboy?” she responded with sass. “As you know I’m the Betas son, I play football, my grades are pretty good and you’re my mate” I responded with a big grin. She blushed again but recovered quicker this time. “And your home life?” she asked curiously. “Well, I live with both my parents and my older brother. We’re really close in my house.”
“What do you want to do after we’re done eating?” “How about you show me around? Let me see the pack the way you see it” she responded very sweetly. I took her around to all my favorite spots and at last I took her to my private favorite spot in the forest. I parked my truck on a solo road 20 minutes from my house. Then we walked for 10 minutes until we reached a small blue water lake. On the left side of the small lake, it was covered with beautiful lilac flowers. Her expression is priceless. I could look at her for the rest of my life. I don't think I could ever get tired of her. I can't get over anything she says or do. Xazul is also hypnotized by her. He's been very quiet since we picked her up. 'You okay Xazul?' I was going to say something else when he finally responded. 'I just can't get over how beautiful and gentle she is. Let me observe her' he said mesmerized.
