Chapter 46-Double Surprise

Is already Yarielis’s birthday and I was jumping from excitement to see her face. Alex knew of the plan, and I stressed to him to make sure he stays on track and has her at the packhouse by 6pm. Since they train till 4, he must distract her for 2 hrs. I was at my weekly appointment with Dr. Bennett and while she checked me I talked to her about the party details and my excitement. CJ was running a bit late to the appointment. He wasn’t in bed when I awoke and lately it’s been like that. I’m trying to not put much thought into it getting ready for Yarielis’s birthday. Right before doc placed the ultrasound on me CJ walked through the door. I was annoyed and he could tell. “Sorry ladies” he kept his head low. He sat in the chair beside me and tried to hold hand. I pulled it away while still talking to Dr. Bennett. He can sense my coldness towards him. The doc said our pups are healthy and strong. Doc stepped out to get the pictures and CJ followed. I decided to grab the ultrasound and look at my pups a bit longer. Dr. Bennett showed me how to use last time. I found my pups and hearing their heartbeats brought me happiness
I was going to place it back when I saw it. My middle baby is a girl. A beautiful girl pup and it made me curious to my other 2. I was left speechless. I’m having 2 boys. I was in tears when I dropped the ultrasound scanner. I snapped out of it and placed it back. Dr. Bennett came in by herself. “CJ said he was sorry. Alpha Trevor called for him” she said with a smile. “Ok. Thanks Doc” I smiled back. “I didn’t get a chance to tell CJ but here is the ultrasound and since they are so big I have their sex result” Dr. Bennett announced. I smiled wide and nodded with a response. “I know already”. Her eyes grew wide and then she laughed. She knew at that point what I had done. I just giggle at her with my antics. We finished the appointment, and I went straight to the packhouse. I walked through the doors and the place was looking spectacular. Everything was coming along perfectly. Mama Sheera called me to the kitchen and had me try most of the foods. I was in heaven at this moment, and she did was smiling at every bite I took.
By 4pm we headed to the house to get ready for the party. The ladies were great at helping me with my wild hair. I washed it and they helped me put products and dry the curls. Once my hair dried they styled the curls to one side of my head. I wore a royal blue maxi knee length dress with one shoulder. Eva went with a lilac pixie dress. She looked like a fairy with her shirt hair. Rubi had on a black bodycon dress half thigh with a corset around the waist. She looks like a hot vampire ready to suck your blood. I laughed at that thought. They looked amazingly stunning. As we finished adding our accessories, CJ walked through the door with the fellas.
They were all stunned with our outfits. They all whistled at us and applauded us. I looked at the time and we needed to go. “Come on guys. Time to go” I let them know. We brought the outfit surprise for Yarielis with us. The fellas didn’t let us carry anything. They all looked very handsome, but CJ was looking extra delicious. Even though I was mad, I wanted to jump him. I stayed focused with getting to the party. Once there everyone’s mouths dropped open with how it turned out. people began to show up and as they entered the instructions were told. 6pm came rolling around and I was anticipating them walking through the door any moment. Right when I thought to mind-link him, he came in with her right behind. “SURPRISE!!” we all said in unison.

“SURPRISE!!” the roar from everyone startled me. I looked at what was happening, and I began to cry. “HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!” they all said in unison. The ladies came to me and hugged me. Then they pulled me upstairs to a room. I was met with a beautiful outfit. They prepared everything. I took a quick shower and got dressed quickly. The dress was a burgundy bodycon floor length with a split on my right leg starting high thigh, chain straps with matching jewelry and simple heels. They styled my hair and did my makeup. These ladies are fast, they did everything in 30 mins. We stepped back to the party and everyone was looking at me. I felt shy at first, but the ladies led me to the center, and I loosened up. As I was enjoying myself I kept feeling like I was being watched. I noticed Alex trying to avoid my eye contact but when we locked eyes my wolf howled ‘MATE!’.
Our connection got caught off by the crow dancing. I took that time and stepped away from the party. I knew everyone would be in the back, so I went to the front of the packhouse. I was taking a deep breath and asked my wolf Val if she was correct. But before she could answer me Alex was standing in front of me. I held my breath while looking at him in the eyes. Next thing I knew his wolf spoke, “Are you running from me MATE?”. I tried to speak but nothing was coming out. He chuckled at me and wrapped his arms around my waist. “So? What’s the answer MATE?” he emphasized the word with a smirk.
“I’m not running. I’m just taking a breather” I answered with sass while looking him straight in the eyes. What I didn’t expect was his next move. With his free hand he placed it behind my head and pushed me towards his face. He placed his lips on me and wrapped me into his body. Wow what a kiss and his body felt like I belong. We got interrupted by Lexy coming out looking for me. She didn’t even get to say anything. She just smiled, turned around and left us alone.

I guess we were right, they are mates. We went on our full moon run and Alex and Yarielis fated mate bond was introduced to the pack. All in all, a great time. I decided to leave the gender reveal for another time. A time after I speak with CJ and what’s going on with him.
