Chapter 121- Newfound Freedom

Lexy

I know he’s right and I couldn’t hold it anymore. I cried in his arms until I could catch my breath again. “I-I-I’m sorry. I co-couldn’t protect our baby” I stammered out. “I’m the one who couldn’t protect the 2 of you. You have suffered so much muñeca. I’m the one who needs to apologize” he responded lifting my chin to look at him.

He tried to comfort me, but right now I needed him to know everything. I told him everything that happened and a couple of times during the telling I had to control Xazul from losing it. I knew the moment he found out another man tried to touch me or touched make them rage.

As I shared everything, CJ's expressions mirrored the turmoil within me. For a brief moment, I saw the fierce protector in him, the man who would move mountains to secure our safety. His knuckles whitened as he clenched his fists, but his eyes remained gentle, grounding me in the storm of emotions.

"We'll get through this," he murmured, his voice a soothing balm to my wounded soul. "You're the strongest person I know, Lexy. And together, there's nothing we can't overcome."

His unwavering faith in our resilience rekindled a spark of hope within me. Despite the shadows that had crept into our lives, despite the fear and pain, I felt the resolve to fight back, to reclaim our joy. We had faced countless challenges before, and this would be no different.

We spent the rest of the day talking, laying bare our hearts, and finding solace in each other's presence. The waterfall, with its endless cascade of water, became a metaphor for our journey—continuous, powerful, and ever-moving forward. I knew, deep down, that with CJ by my side, we would emerge stronger, ready to embrace the future with renewed strength and unwavering love.

CJ

After spending all day talking with her she fell asleep in my arms. I picked her up and carried her back to our room. I placed her on the bed and tucked her in. The moment I was walking away she grabbed my arm and pulled me in the bed and held on to me. She had a grip on her and I couldn’t get her to let go.

I held her tightly, whispering sweet reassurances until her breathing steadied into the rhythm of deep sleep. The room was filled with a serene quietness, punctuated only by the gentle rustle of the curtains as the night breeze drifted in.

In the dim light, Lexy’s face seemed peaceful yet worn, a testament to the battles she had fought and the strength she possessed. As I lay beside her, I couldn't help but reflect on the journey we had undertaken. The moments of joy and sorrow, the victories and defeats, all had woven into the tapestry of our love.

Her grip, though fierce, was a silent plea for security, for an unwavering presence that would promise protection against all odds. I was determined to be that anchor for her, to never let her endure the pain alone ever again.

As the night deepened, I felt a renewed sense of purpose. Our past, with all its shadows, was behind us, and together, we would forge a future radiant with hope and love. Closing my eyes, I allowed myself to drift into sleep, comforted by the warmth of her embrace and the promise of our shared strength.

As I gazed at CJ sleeping beside me, I marveled at the unwavering support he had shown throughout our ordeal. His strength had become my sanctuary, a beacon guiding me through the darkest nights. The loss we had suffered was an indelible scar on our hearts, but together, we would learn to navigate the pain, to find moments of joy amidst the sorrow.

I slipped out of bed quietly, careful not to disturb him, and went to the window. The morning sun was beginning to rise, casting a gentle hue across the room. It felt symbolic, this new day—an opportunity to start afresh, to embrace the journey of healing with open arms.

Today, I decided, would mark the beginning of my efforts to reciprocate the love and peace CJ had endlessly shared with me. I would work on being present, on cherishing the small victories, and most importantly, on living fully despite the shadows that lingered.

As I turned back to look at CJ, a smile touched my lips. We were a team, bound by a love forged in the fires of adversity. Together, we would rebuild, piece by piece, and find our way to the happiness that awaited us.

I turned and continued to watch the sunrise when I felt arms wrapped around my body and a kiss on my shoulder. “Te amo muñeca” he said sweetly in my ear. I couldn’t help but smile from ear to ear. “I love you mate” I responded. I turned around to face him and plant a nice slow kiss on his lips.

He responded so tenderly that it got me excited, and I jumped on him and wrapped myself on his body while slipping my tongue in his mouth. ‘We missed you’ I mind-link him. I didn’t want to stop tasting his lips and feeling his body. I want to show him how much he means to us.

“Take me to bed” I say as I catch my breath. He gave me a devilish smile and began to walk with me in his arms. He put me on the bed and removed the shirt and panties I was wearing. He removed his clothes never taking his eyes off me. He was making me very hot.

As she glowed, I felt an urge to protect and cherish her even more. Her presence was a magnet, drawing out the deepest and most primal parts of me. I moved closer, letting her warmth envelop me, and I whispered softly, "You are my everything."

She responded with a smile that ignited a fire within me, and our connection felt electric. I held her tightly, knowing that at this moment, nothing else mattered. We were two souls intertwined, finding solace and passion in each other's embrace.

The world outside faded as we lost ourselves in each other, creating a sanctuary of love and desire. Each touch, each kiss was a testament to the bond we shared, a bond that only grew stronger despite the trials we faced. Together, we would rise, unbreakable and united.
