Chapter 48- Closing In

It’s been a week since Yarielis’s birthday and all I’ve done is train, finish my studies, plan how to tell CJ the gender of the pups, and go over every bit of information we all have gathered about my background. I decided today to try and take a breather. Dr. Bennett suggested for me to try and meditate, that it’ll help me focus and clear my mind. I spoke to CJ about it and he’s taking me to our lake. I got ready and went to the kitchen to pack a picnic basket since my appetite has been monstrous. CJ came into the kitchen and chuckled at me. “My babies are hungry?” he smiled as he asked me and gave me a kiss. “More like getting ready for it” I laughed back.
CJ picked up the picnic basket and walked us to the truck. I couldn’t stop smiling at the time alone I was going to get with him. I can tell he noticed because he kissed me before closing the truck door for me. He got in the truck, and we took off. A bit later we arrive, and CJ helps me out and grabs the basket. We walk to the lake, and he sets down the blankets for us to sit along with the basket. He decided to take a nap next to me while I began my meditation. It was hard at first because I had never meditated before but listening to the noises of the forest and the ripples of the water, I felt like I was drifting.
I opened my eyes, but CJ wasn’t next to me anymore. I was going to start panicking when I heard a faint voice in the distance. I perked up my ears to listen to where it was coming from. I heard it again and I began to walk towards it. I felt like it was calling me, and I had to find it. I continued to follow, and the voice became clearer, and I think I could recognize it. At that moment, everything became clear and there was this beautiful fiery creature but was not who I thought it was. Is strange because it sounds like Lei. I can’t tell what it is, just a silhouette of a woman in the fiery creature that surrounds it.
“Hello my child. Come closer” said the fiery creature. “Hi” I waved my hand while getting closer. “Umm.. who are you? You sound like Lei”. “No fear my child. I’m The Great Ancient Phoenix. My name is Abellona” she spoke tenderly. She shocked me with that, but I kneeled beside her and laid my head on her lap. She felt familiar and gave me comfort. “I know you have a lot of questions my child. You’ll understand soon. Xiomara was taken by enemies of your father. You need to find him soon” she said as she patted my hair softly.
“Will I find my mom?” I couldn’t help but ask her. “You will” she smiled at me. “There lies the path in the deep forest. The seen in the unseen lies what you seek. Look closely, you have answers in the ancient scriptures”. “Will my pups be ok?” There was worry in my tone. “Your babies will be amazing and powerful. Now go my child, CJ and Xazul are waiting. We will meet again” she said and kissed my head. Before I could respond, I closed my eyes and when I opened them back up I was back with CJ at the lake.
CJ
I was taking a nap while Lexy was working on her meditation when I smelled like something was on fire. I opened my eyes and the blankets had burned off along with her clothes and mine. I looked at Lexy and her eyes were open and glowing, but she didn’t seem to be here. Crazy thing that the materials burned but not the grass or us. I sat in front of her and decided to wait for her to come out of the trans she was in. I began to sense a change in her that was calming. I couldn’t believe we were covered in fire, but we weren’t burning. She did look like my fiery Phoenix at this moment.
More than an hour had passed, and she was still in the trans, but she was smiling which kept my anxiety at bay. She was closing in at 2 hours when I couldn’t wait anymore. I kissed her to see if it’d help like last time, but it didn’t work. I was beginning to get frustrated when I saw her eyes fluttering. She closed her eyes completely and that’s when the fire stopped. When she opened her eyes again it was her adorable, gorgeous green eyes staring at me. I was so happy to have her back that I held her while kissing her. When I let her go she just blinked her eyes at me. “Are you ok?” I asked her. She smiled big and threw herself at me.

When I got off CJ I noticed that we were both naked. “What happened to our clothes?” I asked curiously. “You burned it off during your meditation” he smirked awkwardly. “Say what?” I was left dumbfounded. “You were meditating for 2 hours”. “There’s a lot that happened. I think I know where my father is” I began to tell him, but I couldn't stop looking at his naked body. He always looks delicious. I licked my lips while looking at him and I think he saw the hunger in my eyes because he ended pouncing on me. Everything he does sends a heat wave through my whole body.
“Let’s go for a swim” I winked at him as I got up and ran towards the water. He chased after me and caught me in the water. I wrapped myself around his body and kissed him. He placed his hand in my hair and tangled his fingers in it pushing me closer to him. This wasn’t us; this was our animal instincts at full effect. They had taken over and it was pure intensity. “Take me Xazul” Lei spoke. Xazul did as he was told and entered us. We kept going back and forth between us and our wolves. There was something about doing it in the water that kept us going. I couldn’t think much and decided to fully let go and that’s when they began to go rougher but passionate. “More” Lei said, and they obliged.
That sent all of us to an explosive climax and I was delighted.
