Chapter 61- Close By
CJ
The information we got from Xiomara helped us add to our planning. Nighttime hit and it has been 24hr since Lexy was taken and it was driving me nuts. I was worried about her and our pups. Were they eating, how they were being treated. I just want them to be safe. Helio had to make me take a break and get cleaned up. Xazul has been whining and howling missing Lei. As I was going back down to the conference one of Helio’s men ran past me and straight to Helio.
Something rushed through me, and I picked up my step following him. When I walked through the door he was reporting to Helio, and it seemed to be important. I was planning to walk out but Helio signaled me to stay and get closer. I sat by a chair closer to where they were standing and waited for them to finish. Once done I heard Helio tell him “Good work”. He approached me and sat down next to me.
“We are going to work today on a rescue plan. My man followed them to their location without getting noticed” Helio spoke with a bit of a smirk. “You said what? Where is she? Let’s go” I said in a hurry and shock. “We can’t just burst in. We must set a full plan. Where they are keeping her is very well secure and is very secluded surrounded by his man” Helio finish updating me.
“Whatever you think is best but please don’t let too much time pass” I tell him. He nods and responds “My man left another of our scout watching the place. They never scout alone; he was just faster to follow them but stayed in contact with his partner and myself”. I understood and we began to plan her rescue and in case we also prepared for an attack.
Lexy
I kept sleeping for a couple of hours and waking up. Lei kept whining for Xazul, and I understood her pain and emotions. I wasn’t sure what time it was or who was keeping me in this place yet. I just got the guy that brings food and helped me go to the bathroom. I fell asleep again and was woken up by the door opening. It was the guy bringing breakfast food. Food is the only way I know what time of day it might be. I just hope that CJ and dad find me soon.
At that moment I realized that dad had gone to get mom. Now I’m wondering if he found her. This time with my food I noticed there were prenatal vitamins, but I chose not to take them. I ate my food and returned to bed. once the plate got picked up, I went under the mattress where I had decided to mark my time here and map out what I can. I found the black chalk under the bed when I couldn’t sleep.
After lunch got picked up I was going to stand up when the door opened again. I stared at the person that came in and he wasn’t wearing clothes like the one that’s been watching me. This man is wearing an all-black suit with his hair brushed back. When I looked at his face it looked familiar. I looked at his features more and that’s when Lei said, ‘Is Cecel’. I opened my mouth wide at the shock.
“Hello Alexia” he spoke sheepishly. I glared at him while he gave me a creepy smirk. “What do you want?” I spoke straight. “You got a bit of your mom’s forwardness” he responded. “I wonder if you’re as feisty as her” he chuckled at his own words. “I’m guessing you already figured out who I am. But just in case, I’m Cecel Aero” he bowed as he introduced himself. “Thanks for that. Can I go home now?” I responded with annoyance while rolling my eyes.
“Now, now. No need for that princess” he chuckled. “Now get comfortable because you’re not going any where and neither is your pup”. “I’ll come by tomorrow and will talk then” he smiled and walked out of the room. My heart was beating so fast, but I wasn’t going to let him get under my skin. I’m just glad he doesn’t know I’m having triplets, but I hope CJ and dad find me soon. I’m not sure what his plans are for me, and I really don’t want to see him tomorrow. I rubbed my belly and began to sing a song my mom used to sing to me when I was younger until I turned about 6 years old and then things changed between us.
CJ
Nighttime was approaching and we were in hiding waiting for the right time to make our move and get Lexy back. We came in 2 teams. The first team, which is me along with Helio and the others, would attempt to rescue Lexy without being caught. If things went south then team 2 was ready for the attack.
I was getting impatient, and Helio was doing everything along with Alex to stay in control and follow the plan. I took a deep breath and Xazul and I just stayed focused. ‘We need to get her out safely’ Xazul told me. I agreed with him and kept taking deep breaths. As soon as the time we set came, we put our plan in motion and began to sneak our way in. If the enemy was too close to our group one of us would take them out silently.
The only problem we were having with our plan was that the place was huge, and we had no idea where they had placed her. One thing we all agreed on was that either it was in the basement or the top floor so she wouldn’t escape.
Lexy
I decided not to eat dinner and when the guy came in was surprised I hadn’t touched the food or the drink. “You need to eat” he spoke for the first time and walked out. Now I was feeling like something was odd with the way he said it. then it got me thinking how I haven’t felt my powers since I’ve been here. I drank water from the sink to put something in my stomach.
He returned 10 minutes later but before he said anything I said I needed to use the bathroom. I couldn’t see his expression, but I think he was irritated with me. I wanted to use this time to try and get my powers to work so I can have a chance to get away.
