Chapter 91- Journey of Lives

I was so tired, and I went to sleep. I opened my eyes and what I saw wasn’t CJ or my babies. It was a different terrain and different people. I couldn’t recognize my surroundings at all. I kept looking at my surroundings and it seemed like I was with our natives. Which I couldn’t believe it since the tribes had evolved. I felt like I was in a history book except I was living it.
I looked at the place and all the buildings were made of stones in different sizes. I was amazed and confused. I was going to begin exploring when I heard a voice call out “Your highness Abellona”. I turned around and that’s when I saw the man who was calling approaching me. For some reason, I knew him, and I smiled at him while waving my hand at him.
As he got closer it dawned on me, he thinks I’m our great mother. At that moment, all her memories flooded in. “Why are you just standing there baby sis?” the man said. “Welcome back Dionysios” I say to him while hugging him. “How was your training?” I asked him.
“Grueling but I’m stronger and prepared to protect you for it” he responded. “I love you too”. We walked together towards our home, and it was the biggest stoned house in the village. As we walked in through the door we hear someone say, “I see you found her” and a chuckle. It was our dad coming towards us.
“Yes, he found me, dad” I responded with an eye roll. He held me tight in a hug and then we all walked into the eating room. Dinner was already served, and the family was already sitting waiting for us. “Sorry guys” I apologized while bowing my head and taking my seat.
After dinner we all sat together in the family room when the emergency alarms went off. “What’s going on?” mom asked worried. “We are under attack” he announced. “Take your positions. You know what to do” he commanded. We all nodded and followed the plan.
My brother’s job was to get me out of our tribe and keep me alive. But I’ve also trained with them to be able to protect them too. We were close to leaving our territory when we were ambushed. After fighting our way through them the last one standing hurt Dio badly. I killed him and used my power of healing to help him.
As I was finishing healing him I got struck with something that went right through my chest. All I heard was Dio yelling and I could feel life leaving out of my body. Right then, I realized that I died. Or more like I just experienced her death.
When I opened my eyes again my environment had changed again. different people, different looking homes and a different me. As the day went on and an attack happened again, I felt like I was stuck in a nightmare. I died but the powers used were different.
I began to understand what was happening to me. I was living the day of their deaths. I was in a 3rd life now and dying in this life, I noticed how each one only has one power and showing me why I am so different. I also felt horribly sad how young the ladies were when they died. They were between the ages of 18 and 21. They didn’t get to enjoy their lives or even find their fated mates.
I don’t know how much more of this I can take. It was torture, sad and eye opening. All I kept thinking was about how lucky I am to have found my fated mate and have my pups. Miss them so much right now. I don’t know how long I’ve been going through this, but I want to go back to my family.

I don’t know how much longer she’s going to be there, but 2 months is enough. Our hearts are breaking, and the kids keep asking her. I haven’t let them in the room since the day of the battle. Everyone has been trying to keep them distracted, but they keep trying to make their way into the room.
I stepped out into our family room to take a breather and think. Our moms were there with Lala looking after the pups. They turned on the tv and the pups calmed down enough for all of us to sit down and exchange words.
We didn’t realize how long we talked until we looked up to check on the kids and the kids were gone. “Where did they go?’ asked frantically. We were looking around frantically for them when I noticed my room door slightly ajar. I approached the room and pushed the door open. I found our pups surrounding here cocoon. They all looked at me and then touched it at the same time.
A bright light erupted and left me blind for a moment. I was worried about the pups, but I couldn’t see where I was going. Eventually the light subsided, and the pups were on top of Lexy. She was back from the cocoon, and she was glowing.
The kids were laughing and smiling calling for her. I approached the bed and began to cry looking at her face. “Papa, mami back” the pups said in unison. She opened her eyes slowly and I knew she was back.

I opened my eyes and couldn’t focus on my surroundings. I began to blink to get my senses back when I saw their faces. “Mi amor” I spoke in a whisper. My throat and mouth were so dry. ‘I’m thirsty. Water please’ I mind-like CJ. He nodded and as he was mind-linking someone, our moms walked in the room and all I heard was their gasps.
“Moon goddess. You are back” I heard one of them say. “Mami, Mami” I hear my pups call out to me.
