Chapter 73- Strange Sight
Lexy
‘Sweety, I need you to convince CJ to leave you alone in the sacred grounds’ dad mind-links me. ‘Why? You know that’s not going to happen’ I responded. ‘He will when you let him know the plan. I think we might have found who it is, but the person is not making obvious moves due to someone always being with you’ dad finish telling me.
‘Ok dad’. I told CJ everything dad said and like I thought, he didn’t make it easy to convince him to leave me alone. What lets him be a bit at ease, is the fact that he will be outside in case anything happens. He still felt uneasy about it but understood if he wants normalcy for our family it needs to be done.
The plan was going to be put into action a couple of minutes after dinner was done. I’m not sure why but I trust dad’s plans.
CJ
I wasn’t happy leaving her, but I understood. There was still an hour left before the plan was in motion. I decided to make this hour amazing for her and for myself. I was going to make a move when she got on top of me and kissed me. I warmth was coming out of her with this kiss. It felt like she was sharing her love with me, and I let all my love for her out.
I held her tight and engrossed myself in the kiss. Her lips naturally sweet and plump. I never want to stop kissing her and touching her. This kiss wasn’t about lust, it was about our love for each other and our connection. We spent most of the hour kissing and staring into each other’s eyes. It was time to head out and I made sure to get one last kiss. “I’m coming back for you” I whispered to her and left her.
I made my way like I was heading towards the pack house and then took a secret route Helio showed me. Just as we planned I made sure the mixed scent wasn’t in the air. I followed the plan to the letter and set myself in position.
Helio
The plan was set in motion, and everything was going as accordingly. She finished her shift and made her way to her room. Not even 5 minutes later she was sneaking out of her room wearing all black. She was really quiet with her movements. Now I understood why she was a traitor.
I was tagging with my best scout, and she set the plan where everyone should be positioned so they won’t be spotted by her and the plan wouldn’t be foiled. Tarria is very smart and agile at what she does and how she does it. I don’t trust no one like I trust her except for my right-hand man.
I followed her every movement and direction to the letter. We observed Riz every move and she was good at staying out of my guard’s scent. We noticed her when CJ passed by as planned. She also saw my mate act like she forgot something and returned to the packhouse.
We knew she would use that opportunity to head to the sacred grounds. We made our way towards the waterfall footsteps behind her.
Riz
I finished my shift and changed into my sneaking around outfit. As I was making my way towards the packhouse, I noticed CJ making his way in. Lexis’s mom had passed him heading towards the falls but then she turned back to the packhouse. I saw thus as my chance to see what the big fuss was about her.
I finally made it to the falls and even in the night it was very colorful. I made my way behind the waterfall and the grounds were covered in green grass with lots of blossom flowers. The closer I got the more you can see the beauty of this place.
As I reached her and seeing her, you couldn’t deny her beauty. I felt mesmerized the closer I got. I stood at the outside of the circled statues without saying a word or even know what to think or do. My mind has gone completely blank. Next thing I knew my body kneeled and bowed.
CJ
She entered the sacred grounds, and I wanted to run in and tare her apart. I knew if I did that Lexy would destroy me. I waited 2 minutes as planned and snuck right in. Helio and his scout were close by. I was surprised by the sight I saw. She was bowing to Lexy and stayed outside the stone grounds.
I grabbed her right there and chained her. The chains helped suppress transformation while keeping her docile. She tried to fight but it was no use. Helio came in with the scout and they injected her with a tranquilizer. Once she was out, Lexy got up and looked at her. She placed her hand on her cheek and her eyes were glowing.
“When she awakes, I’ll be the first one to talk to her” Lexy let us know. We all nodded in agreement and bowed to her.
Lexy
“When she awakes, I’ll be the first one to talk to her” I let everyone know. They all agreed with a nod and then they bowed. For some reason, it didn’t surprise me. Everything in me understood exactly what it meant, and I held my head high.
They picked her up and took her towards the interrogation room by the cells. CJ and I returned to our room and went straight to the shower. After the shower dinner was brought up to us and I ate everything on my plate. Spent a couple of hours with my triplets and then went to our room to watch a movie and cuddled till we fell asleep.
Next day I woke up before CJ, checked on the triplets and then headed to the interrogation room. I felt some type of connection to her, and I needed to find out everything she knew.
