Chapter 123- Shining Futures

Lexy

A week has passed since we got the great news, and CJ has been making sure I stay sound of mind. I could tell there was something he was holding back, but I didn’t feel like pressuring him to tell me. Today we went in for my first checkup and I’m hoping things are going well.

Dr. Bennet did an ultrasound and got the same results. Something is off about the way the heartbeat is beating. Besides that, everything else is looking good. We will be back again next week to check again.

CJ has been handling the meeting setup while I focused on getting everything ready for the full moon celebration. Even with how busy we’ve been CJ always finds a way to come around and check up on me.

Yesterday we didn’t get good news at the Docs, but didn’t really get bad news. Today I decided to take the boys with me to the training grounds. At first, everyone was distracted by the boys, which I allowed and then got them back in formation. “Let’s begin with some cardio by running 4 laps. Then will begin a new attack and defense” I shouted at the warriors.

The boys were entrance with every move we made. When I couldn’t look at them I could hear them giggling and clapping. They were being watched by their assigned warriors, which eased my mind and let me focus on the training. In the middle of a new move, I noticed I was losing the classes’ attention.

I turned around to see what was going on and saw the boys imitating our moves. They weren’t perfect but they were picking it up quickly. “They look too cute” someone said. “They will be great warriors” another warrior said. I could feel Xazul’s chest popping out with pride. “What a proud papa” I heard someone say. I turned to see who it was, and it was dad.

Dad’s presence always brought a sense of nostalgia and warmth. His support was unwavering, and it felt reassuring to have him witness these moments. He walked over and gave me a firm pat on the back, his eyes gleaming with pride. "You're doing great, CJ. Keep it up."

After the training session, the boys were buzzing with excitement, mimicking the warriors’ moves and chattering about their day. It was heartwarming to see their enthusiasm. I took them to the side and knelt, looking them in the eyes. "You did great today, little warriors. Daddy is proud of you."

Their faces lit up with joy, and they wrapped their small arms around my neck, their laughs filling the air. As we walked back home, I couldn't help but think about the future and the legacy we were building. Despite the challenges, moments like these fueled my determination to keep pushing forward for them and for our family.

Lexy greeted us at the door, her smile radiant despite the underlying worries. "How was training today?" she asked, her eyes flickering with curiosity.

"It went well," I replied, kissing her softly. “The boys were the stars of the show.”

Lexy chuckled, pulling them into a hug. "I bet they were. They always know how to brighten our days."

As the evening settled in, we gathered for dinner, enjoying the simple yet profound moments of togetherness. The love and strength we shared as a family were undeniable, and it was these moments that reminded us of what truly mattered.

It was the day of the full moon celebration, and I had to go in for another checkup. Before I got myself involved with making sure everything was how I pictured it. I knew things were in good hands, but I couldn’t help stress about it.

Another checkup and the same results. This has left us stunned, but we keep going on with our day. Too many things are going on right now to stress. I’ve been back to meditating which it has helped a lot to not take everything to heart. One day at a time and give all the love I can to my growing belly.

As I walked through the moonlit forest, the path seemed to glow with an ethereal light. The celebration was in full swing, with laughter and music resonating through the trees. I could see the flickering flames of the bonfire, and the scent of burning wood mingled with the fresh night air.

Joining the circle of friends and family, I felt a sense of belonging and peace. The full moon cast its silvery glow on everyone, making the moment even more magical. I held my belly tightly, my worries momentarily forgotten as I let the joy of the celebration wash over me.

The time was upon us and our new aged members were going to be making their first transformations and the newly mated members would be celebrated under the moon goddess. Along will be introducing the union of the mates that are joining the tribe from other packs. I’ve been super excited with all the love that is being spread tonight.

Tonight, I have seen Lexy smiling like never before. I noticed her glow and the pups running around are the best sight. The pups watched us transform with the first time transforming. Xazul looked at Lexy and we noticed that she was looking like the day of the battlefield. Her transformation was at full blast.

Everyone was mesmerized just like I was every time I got to see her in any form. Xazul was wagging his tail hard and hit the members that were closed. You could hear the wolves chuckling.

Xazul

Leila looked so amazing. I picked up a sweet smell from her. It was different than her usual and there was something different about her glow. I couldn’t put my finger on it. I decided to keep it to myself for now.

The full moon celebration continued as everyone reveled in the joyous atmosphere. The elders shared ancient stories of the moon goddess, tales that had been passed down through generations, while the younger members listened in awe. The night was filled with the sweet melody of traditional songs and the rhythmic beats of drums, creating a harmonious symphony with the sounds of nature.

As I mingled with friends and family, I marveled at the beauty of our community. The bonds we forged tonight felt stronger than ever, and it was heartwarming to witness the unity among us. Lexy’s radiant smile and the pups' playful antics were a testament to the happiness that filled the air.

The moonlight illuminated the clearing, casting enchanting shadows and highlighting the vibrant energy of the celebration. As I looked around, I realized that these moments, shared under the full moon, were the essence of our tribe’s spirit, binding us together in love and strength.

With the night still young, the festivities carried on, and I felt a deep sense of gratitude for the life we had built and the shared experiences that defined our tribe. The full moon celebration was not just a tradition; it was a profound expression of who we were and the values we cherished.
