When Romeo spoke to this FBI contact, he was much calmer, not that calm that I could leave the house but calmer, all his secrets where still secrets. I asked him for a space to work, he took me to his library I didn’t see this before I must say I was a fan, there was a desk and a lot of books. “You can make your office in here if you like darling or else we can renovate one of the guest bedrooms into your office.” “No this is perfect thank you Romeo.” “Okay then I’m going back to my office to come up with a plan for these fuckers that is following us.” “Sounds like a great idea.” He gave me a kiss on the fore head then he left me to work in his library. I was so interested in all the books I forgot I had work to do, I actually lost myself in all the books he had, I’m sure an hour passed before I went back to my notes.
First on the list was to call the wedding planner, I have a dress we could talk about the rest now. I dialed her number and she answered almost immediately. “Hi Jennifer.” She said “Hi Caroline I’m so sorry I had you in such a flat spin the other day.” “No no I’m over the shock, but please tell me you have an idea of what you want we will need to start searching right away, unfortunately it won’t be custom made.” “I’m sorted with a dress don’t worry; my dress will be here within this week.” “Oh, wow that’s awesome. How did you manage that?” “My fiancé knows Vera Wang so I contacted her.” “Oh my God just like that?” “Yes, just like that.” “That’s great news, we need to talk about the décor, when can I come and see you at the house?” “What about tomorrow, if you have time?” “I’m making time for you Jennifer, tomorrow say mid-day?” “That will work for me.” “I also have a photographer I want you to have a look at his photo’s.” “Great thank you Caroline.” “See you tomorrow.” “Tomorrow.” Great wedding sorted now I need to find some ovens and display cabinets.

I left Jenn in the library I should have thought about an office for her before today but the library will do for now. I have bigger problems to sort out. Who the fuck is following us. I didn’t want to think it was Brad but still he was somewhere in my head but like Jenn said it’s just to theatrical for him to do. When I got back to my office I called in Lucas, Elijah, Noah, Henry and some of the other guards that was stationed outside. “Guys it’s not the FBI, DEA or any other law enforcement.” “Fuck boss who can it be then?” Lucas asked “I’m thinking Sebastian’s cousin just because I cancelled the order apparently the drop of Friday night would have been a trap; Sebastian is using me as leverage for his freedom.” “Fuck” Lucas said. “Okay now what is the plan? Because they are still outside.” “Obviously we can’t make a scene in the suburbs I mean the police will be here in minutes we need them to follow us to a secluded place. It has to look like we are going somewhere on a mission getting something and then we take them to the dessert and get rid of them there.” “I hear you boss and when do you want to do this?” Elijah asks “Elijah, I think you should stay here with Jenn I’m not sure all of them will follow us, I need her safe.” “Yes, off course boss but won’t it be better if we all go Jennifer included the people that follows Jenn’s car will then also been taken care off, Noah and I’ll take care of then and then the rest you take care off.” “And you will assure me nothing will happen to Jennifer.” “I’ll protect her with my life boss nothing will happen to her.” “I’ll ask her but I can’t put her in harms way without her knowing about it.” “I agree.” “Okay so where do you want to take the other car?” I asked Elijah “The warehouse district boss, Jennifer and I were there last week she wanted to open a bakery there so I know the lay out.” I almost got a heart attack thinking of her having a bakery there. “I hope you told her that won’t happen.” “I did boss.” “Good. So, Elijah you and Noah will go with Jennifer, Noah you drive in another car box them in. It’s going to be a bit difficult to box them in, in the dessert.” I told Lucas “Don’t worry boss I already thought of a plan we will be 4 vehicle you in the front one and the other 3 will join us as soon as we are in the dessert.” “Okay great if we are all sorted, we will get rid of these shit heads tonight. Now I have to go and talk to Jennifer.” I didn’t really want Jennifer near this but it is like Elijah said rather take care of everyone at the same time then it’s done.
I found Jenn behind the desk in the library for some reason it fitted her sitting there, it was the space was designed for her. She must have heard me because she looked up. “What’s wrong babe.” Her calling me babe was so different I mean we use that word as her submission but it felt right. “I need to ask you a favor.” “Anything.” “Don’t be so sure darling.” “I’m serious babe anything.” “Elijah came up with the idea they take you out for a drive as well then they will get rid of the people following you and I will go in my own vehicle and set a trap for the rest.” “Okay when.” She asked without hesitation. “Darling, are you sure?” “Yes, I want this to end and the sooner the better.” “You do know taken care of them means Elijah will kill them.” “Yes, babe I’m not that naïve that is what I suspected.” “Okay then tonight.” “I’ll be ready.” I went to sit in front of her on the desk then I bend forward and kissed her. “What did I do to deserve you?”
