Jennifer
After a very long flight and a few long naps we have finally arrived in Hawaii. When we disembark the plane, Noah, Henry and Levi was waiting for us in front of 2 G-Wagons, clearly it was Romeo’s SUV of choice. Lucas and Elijah packed our bags in the SUV, while Romeo greeted everyone. I was still tired so I went straight to the SUV, closing my eyes while I waited for Romeo. When he finally got in the SUV I must have dozed of because I got such a fright when he said “Angel?” I must have jumped a mile high because Romeo was touching me immediately “It’s only me angel, it’s only me.” “Sorry Romeo I dozed off.” “No problem, I’m going to call the doctor and tell him to get us at the house.” “House?” “Yes, I got one of my friends places to stay I wasn’t going to stay in a hotel or resort I want my alone time with my wife.” “That sounds like heaven.” “Yes, and security is very good.” “It’s only you that would worry about security.” “Well after what happened I’m sure I can be a bit nitty gritty about the security.” “I’m not saying anything.” Romeo gave me a kiss on the cheek, I put my head against the head rest and fell asleep almost immediately. Needless to say, I had no idea how long it will take to get us to the house he rented us, I just hoped it was near the ocean that was what was nice about the Maldives you where basically staying on top of the ocean.
Romeo
The flight to Hawaii was brutal on me and Jennifer she slept most of the time or should I say napped she didn’t really sleep, which made her very tired. When we landed in Hawaii I felt so relieve especially when I saw my men waiting at the SUV for us. I helped Jenn into one of the SUV’s I don’t even think she noticed then I went to talk to Noah, Henry and Levi. “Boss” Noah said as I approached them. “Guys so happy to see you.” “You to boss and Mrs. Bianchi.” “Any news out of Mexico?” “Yes, there was a few that wanted to come to the US to retaliate Sebastian’s death as well as his cousin but when they saw what our men did to Sebastian’s family they retreated and it is clear they won’t set foot in the USA.” Levi said. “And Sebastian’s Cousin’s family?” I asked concerned “They are still hiding but it is just a matter of time before we find them boss don’t worry; I’m in constant communication with our men in Mexico and they think they know where the family is hiding.” Henry told me “Well keep me updated and the house we are going to now?” “We’ve been there we brought more men the whole place is under security boss and it helps that there is camera’s all over the place.” “Good I don’t want any surprises the next week I just want peace and quiet, Jenn and I need it.” “We will make sure of it boss.” Noah said before I move to our SUV as I got in all I said was “Angel?” She got such a fright I had to touch her and reassure her it was only me she didn’t have to be scared. Clearly this whole thing affected her way more than she wanted to admit. We drove for a while before we got to the house that we will be calling home for the next week. Jennifer was napping again I called the doctor to meet us here when we arrived. There was a guard at the gate which made me feel more at ease with this trip. He told Lucas the doctor was inside waiting for us.
I touched Jennifers leg lightly, “Angel we here.” She opens her eyes and took her glasses off. “Oh wow. It’s stunning.” “It is right?” I’ve stayed here once before but it was for business so I didn’t use the pool or walked on the beach. You just walked across the lawn open a gate and you are on the beach. I loved this place even more for the security this time around, maybe I should make him an offer on the place, let’s see how the week goes. “How close to the beach are we?” “Very I’ll show you, but the doctor is waiting for us.” “Jeez can’t a girl shower first?” Jennifer asked with a smile on her face, clearly joking with me. “You know I promised Dr Jovi that we will see the doctor as soon as we get of the plane so that is what we are doing.” Lucas stopped in front of the front door and I walked around to open the door for Jenn and to help her out. I took her hand and we walked into the foyer of the house, Jenn was looking at absolutely everything. “This is a real beach house” she said, I’m not sure what she meant but for know we need to see the doctor who was sitting in the living room.
“Hi doctor, I’m Romeo and this is my wife, Jennifer.” “Hi my name is Martin.” “Do we call you doctor or just Martin.” “Just Martin is fine let’s not be too formal. I heard you have a gunshot wound and your wife a knife wound am I right?” “Yes, and she’s pregnant.” “Okay let me look at your wound first Romeo.” I took of my shirt and he took of the plaster that was covering the wound. “This looks good, you can keep it open, just make sure you dry it properly if you go for a swim or shower.” “Thank you.” “Now Jennifer your turn.” Martin took of the bandage from her neck, “Wow you lucky to be alive.” Martin said. “I’ve been told.” Jennifer said a bit sarcastically, probable the hormones she’s not normally like this. “Your wound looks good; I will cover it still and probable don’t get it wet only if you absolutely have to. Then the pregnancy. How are you feeling?” “Tired I don’t know if it is of the pregnancy, the long flight or all the events that happened before we got here but I’m bone dead tired.” “It could be all the above. How are you sleeping?” “Before we left, I slept good but then I got sick, morning sickness so I didn’t sleep much then this happened.” She motioned to her neck “and now we are here.” “Tell you what I’m going to check your blood pressure for now and then I’ll see you say in 3 days’ time give you time to properly sleep then we can see if you still tired that will give us an indication if it’s just the pregnancy, okay?” “Sounds good to me.” He checked her blood pressure then he did it again. “What’s wrong?” “It’s a bit high for my liking but like we said a lot happened so relax the next 3 days Jennifer and then hopefully everything will be normal when I see you again.” “Thank you, Martin.” “No problem, I’ll see you in 3 days’ time, rest as much as you can Jennifer.” “I’ll make sure she does.” I said as I walked him to the door where Lucas found him and walked him to his car. When I got back to Jenn she asked “So you going to go and show me where the beach is?” I wanted to argue and tell her she needed rest but for some reason I took her hand and walk to the gate that led to the beach.
