Romeo
After I fired the two men that was stealing from Brad, I went back to my office I had a directors meeting I couldn’t miss. I decided with everything that went on in Brad’s business it’s time to make sure no one is stealing from me. I’m a 100% sure no one will steal from me but there might be that one fucker that thinks he could get away with it. As I was getting into my private lift, I thought how Brad introduced me to his thief’s, was this a sign that he was coming around or was it just to show a united front. I’m not sure what that was and if it was acting his fucking great in acting and I really hope he will do the same at the wedding. I got to my office just to find a message from Eva on my desk telling me she organized everything Jennifer asked for. Fuck I could have kissed her, I’m sure now Jennifer will feel more at ease with the wedding planning, now that Eva is helping her. I thought of Eva because her father is a well-known actor in Los Angeles and I’m sure she went through exactly the same as what Jennifer was going through only thing was Eva could escape her family and the fame poor Jennifer is marrying me that would make it even worse but at least I will never threat her the same as her dad and eventually Jennifer will know who her true friends are.
My PA Ricardo came into my office “Cutting it a bit fine today boss.” “Yes, I didn’t think my meeting with Bradford Rynn will go on so long.” “But have you sorted the problem?” Ricardo knew about the people stealing and Laundering money from Brad, I gave him the documents to make sure I was seeing right. Ricardo isn’t any kind of PA he has a degree in finance as well, that is why I pay him the big bucks. Yes, I told Brad he will fire them or else I’m not leaving his office, he took so long to get to the point that I fired them at the end of the day. I also have someone keeping an eye on them. We need to withdraw all those funds out of the account actually let’s do it right now before he gets a chance to do it.” “On it boss.” The thing with Ricardo was he knew everything my illegal businesses my legal businesses in fact his the one that launders all my money see, I need to keep him close. I had a cup of coffee and went out of my office looking for Ricardo “It’s done boss.” “Good now let’s go see if anyone is stupid enough to steal from me.” “I told you I couldn’t find anything.” “I know Ricardo but we need to put the fear of God into them to make sure they won’t ever even think about it.” “I hear you boss.”
An hour and a half later we walked out of the meeting some of my directors where shitting their pants and the rest thought I was making jokes. I pity the man that think I made a joke but we will see if something comes out, like Ricardo said he didn’t have any evidence that anyone was steeling from me so I trusted him. I went back to my office as I took a seat one of my burner phones rang. I set the alarm on my phone and answered. “What?” “I don’t know what your men were trying to do Romeo but you didn’t scare me.” Sebastian said. “Oh, wow hello Sebastian I thought I’ll only hear from you through the people you are paying to follow me but look here you can pick up a phone and call.” “Fuck off Romeo.” “No fuck you Sebastian you were making a deal with the DEA me for your freedom.” “Where did you hear that?” “I do have friends in high places Sebastian trying to give them me won’t work I won’t fall for your shitty tricks and tell your people to stay away from my house.” My alarm went of and I disconnected the call before he even could say anything else. ‘Fuck him’ I thought no one will get me they will never have anything on me.
Jennifer
When I woke up, I immediately went down to my office the library to contact Eva and tell her what I thought about the bar, I didn’t want to wait I was afraid I’ll forget something. She answered on the second ring. “Jennifer how can I help.” “Eva please call me Jenn.” “Okay Jenn what can I help you with?” “I was just thinking I should let you know I thought we should make the first bar just make cocktails, all kinds of cocktails.” “We can do that, no problem.” “And then I just want to make sure you will organize the staff?” “Yes, Jenn don’t worry I’ve got this.” “I’m sorry I’m bothering you with little stuff.” “Don’t be I told you I will answer you call any time of the day so please don’t worry about it.” “Thank you, Eva. I’ll call you tomorrow with a day for the tasting.” “No problem. Have a great evening.” “You to Eva.” When I disconnect the call, I felt another wave of relieve wash over me. I went to the kitchen to find out if Luna needed any help. “No, I’m good Jenn.” “Okay Luna then I’m going to watch some TV.” “You go and relax, can I bring you a snack?” “No, I’m good I’ll grab an apple.” I said as I open the fridge to get the apple and a soda. I went to sit in the living room channel hoping searching for something to watch. I was still doing that when Romeo got home. He kissed me in the neck “Hi darling how was your day?” He came and sat next to me. I smiled from ear to ear “That good?” “Yes, thank you thank you for sending me Eva she’s a God send, she even thought about the bars I didn’t even think about that nor did Caroline.” “I’m very happy if you are happy with her.” “Yes, I am, thank you again. How was your day? How was it with my dad?” “My day was busy and the meeting with your dad was actually not bad we even ate together without fighting and he let me fire the two guys.” I couldn’t believe my ears “NO WAY?” I said shocked. “Well technically he was taking to long and I jumped in and did it but he didn’t say a word.” “I can’t believe it do you think his rethinking the situation?” I had to ask because really it will make our lives so much easier. “Darling don’t get your hopes up, okay?” “I guess I shouldn’t.”
