Romeo
When I got back to my office I went straight to my desk, I needed to cancel this shipment Sebastian wanted to give me on Friday something was off I could feel it especially after I found the tracking device on my SUV but worse of all we found one on Jenn’s SUV as well which was brand new. That was the final straw I knew then something was off. I took my burner phone and contacted Sebastian’s cousin. “Yes” he answered “It’s Romeo I don’t want your product anymore.” Was all I said. I was met with quietness and then he said “Why not, you told my cousin we can deliver.” “Yes well, I’ve changed my mind. I’ll be in contact when I’m in need of any product. Good bye.” Then I disconnected the phone and took the sim card out. Something was brewing and I didn’t like it. Clearly, I need to stay away from my illegal businesses for a while.
I started to work on my e-mails and tenders we had in for other casino’s we wanted to build at about 3 pm my PA came into my office “Romeo, I’m reminding you of the fund raiser you need to attend tonight.” “Fuck what fund raiser I totally forgot.” I looked in my dairy and there in big red letters it said ‘Children’s hospital fund raiser’ “Fuck thank you Ricardo.” “Just doing my job.” Then he left me. I felt so bad for asking Jenn to go with me on such short notice but I couldn’t see myself getting through this without her. So, I send her a quick message
“Hi Darling
I’m so sorry to do this to you but I have a black-tie event tonight. I totally forgot about it. Will you please go with me? I won’t be mad if you say no.”

I waited in anticipation for her reply. And luckily for me I didn’t have to wait long because her answer almost came immediately
“I’d love to.”
“Thank fuck for Jennifer.” I thought to myself.

When I got the message, I decided to go home and get ready for the event Romeo didn’t say what time this event will start but I know from experience it’s normally around 7 pm for 7:30 pm. I need to go and choose a dress and do my hair and make up and off course the jewelry and this was way to short notice to get an appointment at my hairdresser. I said good bye to Eleanor and Sarah and went outside to find Elijah. “You done for the day?” He asked me “Romeo has an event we need to attend I want to stop at my apartment to get a dress if you don’t mind.” “Not at all.” Elijah drove to my apartment. When I walked inside, I could still feel the pain I felt there just a night ago. I shook that off and went to my walk-in closet where I took all my evening wear. I walked to the door and gave it to Elijah to put it in the car so long “I thought you said one dress?” he moaned “Sorry I might change my mind.” I said. While he put the dresses in the SUV I went back into the apartment lookikng for all my jewelry which I put in my jewelry box and threw shoes into a duffel bag. I was sure I would get something to wear between all these cloths. I locked my apartment and Elijah and I went to Romeo’s house.
When I walked into the house, I said hello to Luna then went upstairs to the room. Elijah followed me with all the cloths I took from my apartment. “Where do you want this?” He asked “On the bed” But when I looked at the bed, I saw there was a Chanel box lying on the bed. I walked straight to the box on top there was a note
“I hope it fits.

Goodness this man thinks of everything, when I took the lid of there was the most beautiful red dress in thin tissue paper. I took it out of the box, it was a long dress, with a long slit at the side it basically will come to where my panty line would be and my breast will just fit into the dress. I liked it a lot and I had the perfect jewelry that will go with the dress as well as the shoes. I got excited. It was nice receiving gifts from Romeo it was totally different than receiving gifts from my dad.
I went to the bathroom fill the bath with water and my favorite oils. I got into the bath and just laid back enjoying the hot water. I had this thing before going to an event soaking in a bath with oils. It feels like my skin is shinning a lot more and I look younger, it might just be my imagination but that is how I felt. When I was done in the bath, I did my make up a soft smokey look then I did my hair in loose curls. It took me a long time to do my hair. When I was finally done, I took the dress and climbed into it from the bottom afraid it will mess with my hair. The dress fitted perfectly. I walked out of the closet to go and look for my shoes but I walked straight into Romeo.
“Oh my God Jennifer.” Was his only word. “I’m sorry” “Why on earth are you sorry?” “For bumping into you. Why else?” “I didn’t say Oh my God because you bumped into me Jenn, that dress fuck I’m going to be hard the whole night.” I smiled at him “Well it will be your own fault you chose it.” “It didn’t look this good on the doll.” “Thank you, Romeo.” He pulled me to him and kissed me “fuck I’m going to struggle to keep my hands off you tonight.” “Who said you needed to.” I smiled at him as I walked away to go and find the shoes I was looking for. The look on his face was priceless.
