The next day Eva called and we organized that she would come over to the house we wanted to talk about the opening of the bakery and I wanted to practice my speech with her. I also had an idea which room I wanted to use for the baby but I wanted her opinion. Later that morning she walked into my office with Elijah behind her. “Thank you, Elijah.” “No problem, Jennifer.” She walked towards me and gave me a hug. “Hi Jenn” “Hi Eva how are you?” “Good you?” “So much better.” “You look better and relaxed.” “Well, you took most of my stress with organizing the opening now I just need to learn my speech but I’m sure I’ll be able to handle that and not stress about it.” “Good there is nothing to stress about everything is taken care off.” “I can’t thank you enough Eva.” “Only my pleasure. Now you want to practice that speech?” “Yes please.” Eva made herself comfortable on the sofa that was in my office / library “Ready whenever you are.” “Okay” I start my speech I just struggled with two wines and two cupcakes which was my Makataan Cupcake and the wine that pairs with it. “Okay again.” Eva said. So, I went again this time I got through the whole speech without any problems. “That was good.” Eva said “Can I try it one more time?” “Off course I’m all yours.” So, I started again this time I did it without any problems again which made me very happy. “Okay what about we go shopping a bit?” Eva asked. “Shop for?” “Baby stuff, maybe a dress for the opening or do you already have something?” “No, I don’t I would love to go shopping, I though I was going to have to order something from a website.” “Nonsense let’s go out.” “Great let me just get my jacket.” “No problem I’ll wait in the foyer for you.” “No come with I want to show you which room I was thinking for the nursery.” “Oh yes please.”
We walked up the stairs and the first room that was next to ours I walked in, it had the best light and actually felt cozy it wasn’t as big as the other rooms. “I like it, I like the fact that it’s not as big as the other rooms.” “That is exactly what I thought. Well then this will be the baby’s room, now we just need to figure out a theme for the room.” “Oh, we are going to have a ball in the shops today.” “I’ll be right back.” I ran to our room and grabbed my favorite red jacket then I walked out to find Eva measuring the room. “What on earth are you doing?” “Just measuring how big the crib should be.” “Oh my God Eva.” “What I’m excited.” “Clearly.” We walked down the stairs to find Levi and Elijah waiting for us. “Where to Jennifer?” Elijah asked “Let’s start at Las Vegas North Premium Outlets.” Eva ordered them. We were chatting the whole way to the mall like we were friends for years. When we got to the shopping center, Eva got out and Elijah came to my side to help me out. “We won’t be to long.” I told him, “We might be.” Eva said. I just laughed “We will be in the parking area Jennifer just call me.” “Okay thank you Elijah.”
Eva and I walked into the mall, “So what first a dress or baby stuff?” “Let’s search for a dress first shall we.” “Okay but you can’t blame me if I see something cute and walk into a baby store.” “Fine.” We walked around in one store and then the next in one of the stores I don’t know even what store we where in I saw the most beautiful red dress, it was a long dress tight fitting with a slid on the one side, the slid came up to almost my panty line. “I need to fit this.” I told Eva. “Oh yes, it’s beautiful. I’ll look for some shoes to go with it.” “Thank you, Eva.” I went to the dressing room and fitted the dress; I could see a little bump forming but I loved it and was sure others won’t notice. “You wanne come and show me?” Eva asked. I walked out of the dressing room showing her the dress. “Oh yes most definitely that dress.” “But the bump, I like it to but won’t people see.” “I can’t hardly see a bump and I know you are pregnant.” “You sure?” “Yes, Jenn, I’m sure. Here I found these they will fit perfectly with the dress.” I held onto Eva’s shoulder and try on the shoes. “Oh, wow Eva.” I said when I looked at myself in the mirror. “Exactly you look stunning Jenn.” “I’m taking this.” “Best choice you could make.” I went back into the changing rooms and got undress and got dress in my normal cloths again, when I paid for my dress and shoes, I felt so good, I had the perfect outfit for my opening. Now maybe I can find some baby cloths as we haven’t even bought one thing yet.
Eva and I walked through the rest of the shopping mall, there was one or two stores Eva pulled me into, one where she bought a jean and one where she found her outfit for the bakery opening, it was a little black dress. I’m sure she had one in her cupboard but she wanted another one and some shoes. She’s going to look drop dead gorgeous in that outfit. We walked past a GAP and Eva pulled me into it and walked straight to the baby wear. “Jenn look at this.” She was holding a one piece in her hand, white with the words GAP on. It’s cute but not the first thing I wanted to buy our child. “Let’s look further before we just buy that.” I told Eva. We walked out and into a baby store, I thought I was in heaven with all the cute baby cloths around me, there was everything from cloths, to strollers to cribs. “I think I found my new favorite store.” “I think we have found mine to, this baby is going to be spoiled rotten.” Eva said as she walked deeper into the store.
