Ricardo, Lucas and I waited in my office for the Jalis cartel, Noah came walking into the office just before 7 pm, “They are here boss.” “Let them come in.” A big guy walked into the office he didn’t greet any of us he walked in and inspected the office, clearly it was their bodyguard. He walked out and then these two average build guys walked into my office, I would never see them as cartel, never. I would have never killed him if he didn’t do that. And as far as that fucking low life cousin of his was concerned, he wanted revenge he came to my wedding and shot me then he came to my honeymoon and tried to kill my wife and child. I started to think about my wonderful wife Jenn and the fact that she wanted to go to the club, maybe I should organize something for her for next Friday after the opening of her bakery, then all the stress will be off her and we can relax at the club, it’s what she wants and besides when she starts to show she won’t want to go anymore which will suit me, I’m doing this time for her. When I put the phone down, I grabbed my jacket and walked out of my office to find Noah waiting for me, “You want to go to the casino boss?” “No home please.” He didn’t quite understand but I wanted to surprise Jenn like she surprised me this morning and it was still early enough to do just that. Besides Jose and Migual is Lucas and Ricardo’s problem from here on out.
