Chapter 126
Romeo
I was sitting next to Jenn, getting the courage together to wake her up. To say I was scared shitless was an understatement. I’m a mafia boss there is not much in this life that ever scares me but just thinking about Jenn not waking up, scared me. I bend down and kissed her on the forehead. “Darling wake up.” I kissed her again and then thank God she opened her eyes. “Romeo.” “Yes Darling.” I gave a big sigh. She sat up straight, “it’s dark outside.” “Yes, darling I just woke you to eat, I’ll take you to bed after we ate.” “I really don’t want to Romeo.” “Jenn you heard the doctor just a few bites okay, I asked Luna to make you some soup.” “Oh, okay I’ll try the soup.” We got up and instead of going to sit at the formal dinning table like we did every night since I brought her back, we sat at the kitchen table.

I woke up with Romeo looking down at me, I could see in his eyes he was scared and that was saying a lot, Romeo doesn’t get scared never. When I looked outside, I saw it was already night, clearly, I slept a while. “it’s dark outside.” “Yes, darling I just woke you to eat, I’ll take you to bed after we ate.” “I really don’t want to Romeo.” I knew he won’t be happy with the fact that I didn’t want to eat but that was how I felt. “Jenn you heard the doctor just a few bites okay, I asked Luna to make you some soup.” Soup I might be able to eat that so I agreed to take a few bites of the soup. “Oh, okay I’ll try the soup.” Romeo took me to the kitchen table which was different than any other night but I really didn’t care I really just wanted to get into bed again. We sat, Romeo was eating some pasta dish with a lot of garlic in fact the smell of the garlic was making me feel sick but I didn’t want to say anything. Luna made me some chicken soup that was delicious but I was put off by the garlic smell. I wanted to excuse myself but felt it’s going to be rude and I didn’t want him to know it was making me feel sick I really didn’t want to go to the hospital and that is where Romeo will be heading. I sat through dinner by some miracle I didn’t get sick right there at the table. When we where done, Romeo helped me to go to the room. “You want to take a shower darling?” “No, I really just want to get into bed.” He didn’t say anything he just helped me into my PJ’s and then into bed. I don’t think he was in bed even before I was asleep.

I went to the bathroom to take a quick shower I hoped when I got into bed Jenn will be a wake, I wanted to talk to her a bit but no luck when I got back in the room Jenn was out cold. I got in bed and tried to fall asleep but I couldn’t all worse case scenarios went through my head. I decided to go out with Lucas and the men to sort Richie out anything to get rid of all the thoughts running threw my head.
When I was dressed again, I made sure Jenn’s pain killers where next to her and she had some water I also left her a note just in case she woke up during the night. Then I walked out of the room and called Lucas “Boss?” “What’s wrong boss?” “I’m coming with you to the Richie’s.” “Okay boss we are planning to leave now.” “I’m ready I’ll get you outside.” As I walked outside, I was getting myself ready to go into fighting mode. Maybe if I hit a few people, I’ll feel better. We all got in the SUV’s and where off to the Richie’s. We pulled in at the back of the Richie’s estate he had no security, clearly there was no more money. The lights were on in almost all the rooms, clearly, they were awake. Lucas knocked on the back door but nothing no one open the door. Lucas checked the door, it was open, Lucas walked in front of me. When we walked into the living room it was the first time someone realized there where people in the house.
“Mr. Bianchi.” Richie said stunned “I didn’t think you’ll come.” “We’ll here I am what do you want?” Richie looked at his wife and daughters and showed them to leave us alone. Which was better in any case I mean I wasn’t going to hurt his wife or child but definitely him, of that, I was sure. When his wife and daughters was in their rooms, I walked closer to him. “You have my attention what the fuck do you want?” I was basically in his face by know. “I …. I ….” He stuttered “You … You …. What?” “I need more time.” “Well Richie I don’t think more time will help I mean you have no security that is a clear sign you don’t have any money.” I picked up a tv tray of food “And this! You eating TV dinner trays. What the fuck happened to the money I borrowed you?” He didn’t want to answer me I knew what happened he gambled everything out. “Time is up Richie.” “No please, please don’t Mr. Bianchi please I’m begging you I have a wife and 2 daughters.” “You should have thought about that before you lost all the money.” Lucas came back into the room with the deed of Richie’s house in his hand and a stack of money. “Oh, look here, you do have money.” I said as I took the money from Lucas. “That’s all I have left.” “Well Richie, I’m feeling generous tonight.” “Oh, thank you Mr. Bianchi, thank you.” “What are you thanking me, my generosity means we won’t fuck you up tonight, I’m taking the money and the deed to your house and I’ll give you a week to get other accommodation or else my men will come back and break every bone in your body and that is a promise Richie, every fucken bone in your body.” “Please you can’t where will we go?” he started to beg. I really didn’t like people begging me in fact I hated it. He was on his knees begging me, I just couldn’t stop myself I hit him so hard he fell to the ground. Well at least he didn’t have to fall very far as he was already on his knees. “Don’t fucking beg me Richie, I’ve made my decision now it’s time for you to make yours.”
