I saved her, what was she talking about if it wasn’t for me, she wouldn’t be here, but I’m not going to argue with her, the doctor told me if that mother fucker pushed the blade just 1mm deeper she would have been dead so no, no arguing with her, not at all. I can only thank God she’s still alive. “You want something to eat Jenn?” “No thank you Romeo I’m still not feeling 100% besides they are giving me all I need through this.” She pointed at the drip. It wasn’t food but I’m not going to push. “I’m tired I’m going to sleep.” “Sleep angel I will be right here when you wake up.” “Promise.” “I promise.” When Jenn was sleeping, I went to Lucas and asked him to go back to the Villa and get me some clean cloths, I needed a shower and I needed to get out of these blood-stained cloths. Her blood. I couldn’t take it walking with her blood literally on my body I felt like a failure, I just can’t keep my women safe and it was the worse feeling I’ve ever had.
While I waited for Lucas to come back with some clean cloths, I open my messages and there was a message from Arlo very cryptic “Package has been taken care off. Phone when you can.” I definitely needed to phone him it was late night here so it will be day in America I dialed his number it took a few minutes before he answered “Romeo you only came up for air now?” If he only knew what was really going on. “You can say that, how are you?” “Good I’m not going to ask you; I mean you’re on your honeymoon” “That is true. But I’m phoning regarding the cryptic message you left.” “Oh, sorry I wasn’t sure if Jennifer will see your messages.” “Okay so what happened?” “In short, we drugged Brad and took him to a rehabilitation center.” “For what?” “His an alcoholic Romeo.” “Oh yes you said, but why did you have to drug him?” “Because he didn’t want to go willingly.” “Fuck so he might sign himself out?” “No, we told the facility only you or Jennifer can do that.” “Okay that means I need to tell Jennifer.” “You haven’t yet?” “No not yet my mind was somewhere else.” “Well, you have to tell her before you get back.” “I’ll do that thank you Arlo I owe you.” “I’ll keep you to that Romeo it was a mission to get him there.” “Well, we’ll have you over for dinner some time and you can make your demands.” I said with a smile. “Enjoy your honeymoon further.” “We will thank you Arlo.” When I put the phone down, I realized I had to drop the bomb about her father as well, this is really turning into the Honeymoon from Hell.

When I woke up Romeo wasn’t next to me, I wanted to start panicking but I saw Elijah sitting at the door. “Elijah.” “Yes, Jennifer you need something?” “Some water please.” I couldn’t really move with all the wires attached to me and the water was standing at the end of the bed. He came in and gave me the glass. “Thank you, where is Romeo?” “His just taking a shower in there.” “Oh okay.” “Anything else Jennifer?” “No, I’m good thank you.” I press the remote of the bed to sit up straight but when I did that, I wanted to puke I immediately put the bed down again. Was it the anesthesia or was it still this stomach bug I had. Romeo came out of the bathroom still drying his hair with the towel. “I thought I heard your voice. Sorry angel I needed to take a shower.” “No worries you are still here.” “I told you I’m not going anywhere. Is there something you need?” “I wanted to sit up straight but I felt sick.” “Maybe we should call the nurse for some tablets?” Romeo asked. I press the button in a few seconds a nurse came running in but her attention was on my husband and not on me, although Romeo didn’t give her any attention. “My wife is nauseous can you please bring her something for that?” “Yes, off course I’ll bring something right away.” She ran out of the room I had to smile “You know she was eyeing you right?” I asked with a huge smile on my face because I’m sure he had no idea. “Don’t be silly I’m with my wife why would she?” “Because you my husband are a very sexy man and when you rub your hair with that towel you are even sexier.” “Jeez Jenn.” “I’m just telling you how it is.” The nurse came back with a bag which she put in with the drip. Within seconds of the meds entering my body I felt better. “Thank you.” I told her but yet again she was looking at Romeo. I didn’t care that women looked I mean you won’t be normal if you didn’t look at least, I know he only has eyes for me.
When she left Romeo shook his head, “It seems you where right.” “Oh, you noticed.” “When you pointed it out to me, I did.” The same nurse came back into the room with a recliner chair. “Mr. Bianchi I’m sure you want to sleep as well so here is a comfortable chair for you.” “Thank you very much.” “I brought you a blanket as well.” “You to kind.” She smiled then she left again. “It looks like there is perks when the nurses find you attractive.” He said winking at me. “Oh, you knew what you did there.” “I do not.” He said with a huge smile. We both got comfortable he pushed the chair that it was against my bed he wanted to hold my hand, I didn’t mind at all. Both of us fell asleep almost as the sun came up.
