While I was drying Jenn, I felt so bad that she had to go through this because of me. I started to kiss every bruise every cut, I could hear her start to cry and that made me feel worse. I was in hospital a few times for a broken arm and my appendix that needed to be taken out but he didn’t even come visit me, the nanny’s stayed with me. Last night was the first time he ever visited me in a hospital. When we got out of the bathroom the doctor was already waiting for us, flipping through the sheets the nurses filled in last night. Lucas brought me some lounge wear from home so I was wearing that and Romeo helped me with my sneakers. “It looks like you are ready to leave?” the doctor said with a smile on his face. “Yes, please doctor I need to go home.” “Well, your stats look good, your brain scan is also good it’s just that concussion that is a problem. You will have headaches and I will suggest you do not overdo any screen time or writing that will aggravate your head and then I want you back here for a check up in 3 weeks.” “No problem doc I’ll make sure she doesn’t over do it and we will be back in 3 weeks.” “Good Mr. Biachi look after her and Jennifer take it easy, please.” “I promise doctor.” “Well then you can go just sign the papers at the front desk and get your medication.” “Thank you very much doctor.” “Yes thank you doctor.” Romeo said.
When the doctor left, I couldn’t get of the bed quick enough but that was probable a bad idea because as soon as my feet hit the ground, I felt dizzy and had to grab onto the bed not to fall. “Good God Jenn, wait for me. I thought you wanted to go home but if you fall you will have to stay.” “Sorry sorry I’m just excited to go home that’s all.” “We all are but you still have to take it easy.” “Yes, I know. Sorry” “No need to be sorry I just don’t want anything else to happen to you.” Romeo said as he took me by the arm and held me as we walked to the nurse’s station where we signed out and I got my medication. Romeo thanked the nurses for their patients with him and Lucas and they all smiled and said no problem they understand. I mean there is no way any women can be angry with Romeo he was just so handsome and such a charmer. As we walked away, I joked with him “Flirting with the nurses I see.” He looked at me like I was being serious then he saw the smile on my face and relaxed. “We never know when we need to be back here and I don’t want them giving us bad service the next time just because Lucas and I where rude to them when you came in.” “No, you weren’t?” I asked in shock. “Unfortunately, Jenn we were.” “Okay I understand the flirting now.” “Are you jealous Jenn?” Romeo asked teasing me. “No off course not.” He leaned into me and whispered in my ear “It wouldn’t be such a bad thing if you where a little bit jealous.” I must have looked at him in shock because he just laughed at me.
When we got to the car, Lucas was already holding the door open for me, “Thank you Lucas.” “Any time Jenn.” Before Romeo helped me to get in the SUV I looked around probable searching for someone that might be following us. Was I paranoid? Absolutely. Romeo must have noticed me looking around, I think I made him paranoid as well because he also started to look around but he didn’t say anything to Lucas so I took that as a good sign. When we drove home, I could feel myself getting drowsy again I laid my head against the window and must have fallen asleep.
