We just landed in a very cold Switzerland luckily, I had a hoodie with me and I travelled in a jean. I pulled the hoodie over my head and walked to the SUV, luckily the heater was on. “Fuck it’s cold.” I told Elijah. “It is but the house is warm and as far as I know there will be warm cloths for you at the house.” “Thank you, Elijah.” “No problem, Jennifer.” On our way to the house my phone rang, when I looked at it it was Romeo. “Hello husband.” I said with more sassiness than I felt. “Hello wife have you guys landed?” “Yes, we are on our way to the house, where are you?” “We are in Mexico angel.” “Already?” “Yes, I want this done as quickly as possible you and me need to relax and you need to grow that baby without any fears.” “Thank you, Romeo, but till I see you I’m going to stay worried.” “Try not to angel but I do understand.” “I’ll try.” “How are you feeling?” “I’m okay I slept most of the plane ride here.” “That’s good you need the rest.” “How are you feeling?” “I’m good angel I just need to get back to you as soon as possible.” “I agree but don’t do something stupid because you are in a rush.” “I won’t I promise, but I have to go. After the call I felt much better, I spoke to Romeo he was doing okay or should I say he was still alive which was a good thing and they are trying to get this sorted as soon as possible. When we stop at the chalet, I was stunned I thought it was going to be a small house, fuck I should have known better, it was a mansion with walls around the place security the whole place full, all you can see for miles and miles are mountains and snow. It was really picture perfect. When Elijah stopped in front of the house and open the door for me the front door swung open and an older couple stood at the door. “Mrs. Bianchi, I’m Suzie the house manager and this is my husband Frankie he does the maintenance around here.” “Oh, hello wonderful to meet you and please call me Jennifer.” “And you, let me go and show you the house.” Suzie walked in front and Frankie helped Elijah with my suitcases why they brought them in I didn’t know there where nothing in it I would be able to wear here. Suzie walked with me through the whole house, she showed me where everything was in the kitchen if I was in the mood for snacks before she made the food, Romeo’s office, living room with the most beautiful view with a fire place, it looked like a place I could call home for the next few days, sitting in front of the fireplace reading a book and drinking hot chocolate that sounded like heaven. Then we walked to the bedrooms there where 4 to be exact and that is not the cottage at the back of the house where Suzie and Frankie lived. “This place is stunning and so warm.” “Mr. Bianchi does have nice taste you should see our place; he did that to.” “Oh, wow I would love to some time in the week.” “No problem, can I make you something to eat?” “Something hot would be nice even soup.” “Okay what about a nice chicken soup and homemade bread.” “That sounds delicious.” “I’ll do that, and I can guarantee you you won’t have morning sickness tomorrow morning.” “Jeez Suzie, you will make me eat chicken soup for the rest of my pregnancy.” Both of us laughed at that.
I walked to the room that was pointed out as the main bedroom and went straight to the walk-in closet, there where cloths for every occasion in the closet. I picked out something warm, a nice pair of lounge wear and went for a shower. I stood underneath the warm water for probable 20 minutes just to get myself warm again, I washed my hair, when I got out, I quickly got dressed in my nice and warm pink lounge wear before I blow dried my hair. I felt so much better after the shower and after my hair was washed and blow dried, I felt like a person again. I went downstairs to find Suzie busy in the kitchen with the soup “Can I make you something dear?” she asked me. “No, I just want to make some hot chocolate and go sit at that fire.” “You go take a seat at the fire I’ll bring it to you with some biscuits.” “Are you sure?” “Yes, off course.” I left Suzie in the kitchen and walked to the fireplace next to it was a window. I was looking at the view when I noticed Elijah where speaking to someone I didn’t recognize. For some reason it made me restless I don’t know if it’s because of the mans looks but I didn’t like it. I should definitely ask Elijah about him. I could also just be paranoid especially after everything that happened the last few days or is it weeks by know. I wish everything can just go back to normal, meaning I’m still married to Romeo and I’m still pregnant but Romeo will go to work and do his thing, I’ll go to work do my thing and we can come home and just be together without worrying about my father that is an alcoholic or the cartel that wants to kill us, that would really be nice if everything is just normal for a change.
When Elijah eventually came back into the house, I called for him “Elijah” He came walking into the living room finding me in front of the fire place. “Yes Jennifer?” “Who was that man you were talking to outside?” “No one.” “Don’t lie to me Elijah.”
