8 months later.
We were at home just sitting in front of the TV, the last few weeks of my pregnancy Romeo was to afraid to go to work or leave me alone, he was afraid he was going to miss something and it was a good thing he didn’t go into work today although Ricardo told him there was an emergency because I got up to go to the toilet and before I even got to the bathroom my water broke. “Romeo.” “Yes” he said non chalant. “I think my water just broke.” “Wait what?” He said with more urgency jumping off the couch running towards me. I was standing wide legs over the pool of water. “Luna.” Romeo screamed. Luna came running out of the kitchen. “Luna it’s time.” Luna runs upstairs to get my go bag while Romeo was holding my hand and walking with me to the front door when we open the door Noah and Elijah was sitting there everyone was close to home these days just in case I go into labor. Elijah grabbed the bag from Luna and Romeo helped me into the SUV. When he got into the SUV, I grabbed his hand as a contraction ripped through my body. “Fuck!” I screamed. “Breath angel breath.” We went to a few birth classes and I’m very sure breath was the only thing Romeo remembered.
Noah must have broken all the speed limits because we were at the hospital in no time. While Romeo helped me out of the SUV, Noah ran inside the hospital to get a wheelchair and Elijah went to ask the nurse to call my doctor. That was our birth plan from here on out we had no clue what is going to happen, I wanted an epidural, of that I was sure, and I wanted to have a normal birth. But I did give the doctor permission for a c-section if he thinks it would be better. I was put in the wheelchair and Romeo was pushing me into the hospital. A nurse came towards us taking us to our room. “Did you call the doctor yet?” Romeo asked “No Sir we have to see how far she’s dilated before we can call the doctor.” “She’s going to have the baby any minute now we need the doctor.” “Let’s just see first Sir.” They got me on the bed with my legs open, “She’s only half way sir 5 cm she needs to be 10 cm dilated then the baby will come.” The nurse left us again “What the fuck?” Romeo went on. “Calm down Romeo can you go and get me some ice.” “Yes, off course.” Another nurse came in taking my blood pressure and putting the machine on my belly to see how the baby was doing. “What are you doing?” I asked her. “Dr. Martin said if you come in, we need to check your blood pressure and make sure the baby is not in distress or else he will need to do a c-section.” “Okay and so far, how does it look?” “So far everything is okay.” Romeo came back with the ice; I started to chew on the ice. “What is all this?” Romeo asked I explained to him what the nurse explained to me, which set his mind at ease. Another contraction went through my body I grabbed onto Romeo screaming. With every contraction my blood pressure was getting higher and higher. The nurse came in and looked a bit worried. She disappeared without saying anything then came back giving Romeo some scrubs to wear. “I’m sorry Jennifer but your baby and you are in distress doctor is going to do a C-Section. “But I wanted to have a normal birth.” “I understand but we can’t have you or your baby in danger.” Romeo was dressed just in time as they pushed me to theater. “Is doctor waiting for us?” Romeo asked on out way. “Yes, his ready.” We got to theater and the doctor told me “I need to give you anaesthetic, there is no time for an epidural and we need to cut very quickly.” I started to cry but Romeo was at my side, “I’ll be right here Jenn don’t worry I’ll be right here when our baby girl get’s born, your safety and hers are more important.”
Romeo
I was scared shitless when they moved Jenn to the theater, I mean this was not ideal I know Jenn wanted to be awake when our baby girl was born but I have to be strong for both of us and make sure she stays calm. She was out in seconds from the moment they gave her the injection and from there on everyone work as fast as possible clearly our baby girl was really in distress. I saw how they took her out and then there was no cry, as far as I know she should be crying. “Why aren’t she crying?” I asked the nurse. “She will the doctor is just busy with her.” The nurse didn’t even finish her sentence when Jenny our Jenny started to cry.

I woke up to see Romeo with our little baby girl laying on his bare chest it was such a relieve to see him with her and sexy as hell. I didn’t want to disturb them but I haven’t held her yet. “Jenn you are awake.” “I am, how is she?” “She is so healthy and has a huge voice on her.” Romeo got up and brought Jenny over to me, he laid her in my arms as soon as she cuddled into my arms I started to cry. Romeo sat next to me on the bed kissing my cheek. “She’s perfect Romeo.” “Just as perfect as her mommy.” She started to fuss a bit, I open my PJ’s and she latched onto my nipple, fucked it hurt but I was going to breast feed as long as I can especially because my normal birth plan went down the drain. “My two girls.” Romeo said. He stood away took his phone and took a picture of the two of us. Then he came to sit next to me again. “I’m so proud of you Jenn, bringing this wonderful baby into the world, you are a real super star.” “Thank you, Romeo, thank you for always being by my side and always being my best cheer leader.” “Always babe you are my love my Taboo love but still we made it work.”
