Romeo
I let go of Jennifer with a lot of hesitance. When they ran through the doors with her it felt like my whole world was falling apart. I walked to the men’s bathroom, when I looked at myself in the mirror all I saw was blood, blood on my cloths, blood on my hands even on my face. I started to wash my hands but it was like it didn’t want to get clean, the more I washed the more blood there were. “Fuck, Fuck, Fuck” I screamed at myself. I walked out of the bathroom just to see them take Elijah through the same doors as Jennifer. When Lucas saw me, he walked straight towards me. “Boss” I just shook my head I couldn’t fall apart here in the middle of the hallway of the fucking hospital. I started to walk doing some breathing exercise to calm my nerves. I found an empty waiting room. That’s when Lucas tried again “Boss?” “Yes Lucas?” “Elijah is really sorry boss it’s all he kept on saying.” “It’s not his fault Lucas it’s mine, I thought they will come after me I never thought they will go after Jennifer I should have send more men with her and took less with me. But I thought they’ll come after me. Fuck.” “We all thought so boss.” “What if she dies Lucas?” “She won’t boss don’t even think like that.” “At this stage it’s difficult.” Lucas and I took a seat in the waiting area, waiting for news on Jennifer and Elijah.
After an hour a doctor came in to give us an update I jumped up “How is she doc?” I asked “I’m here about Elijah aren’t you his next of kin?” “Yes, sorry I am.” “He has a broken leg, fractured shoulder and a concussion but other than that he will be fine.” “Thank you, doc.,” “Are you waiting for news on someone else?” “Yes Jennifer Rynn.” “I’ll go and see what I can find out.” “Thank you, doc.,” “Elijah is in a room if you want to go and see him.” “We will thank you doc.” The doctor left Lucas and me alone again, “You go and check on Elijah I’m going to wait and find out if there is any news on Jennifer yet.” “Okay boss.” When Lucas left me alone my head was all over the place, I wanted to get in my car and go and fucking kill Sebastian if his name was on their phones, they were working for him there was no doubt in my mind about that but I also knew the DEA was watching him which ment they are protecting him from me right know even if they didn’t know it. I won’t go to prison but I will get my revenge of that, I’m sure. Another doctor came into the waiting room a while later “Mr. Bianchi?” “Yes, that’s me, is she okay doc?” “She’s alive and is in a stable condition her head was cut in a few places that is where all the blood came from and her arm is broken and she has a severe concussion, we are going to keep her sedated until the swelling has come down around the brain.” “Fuck” “She’s going to be okay Mr. Bianchi, it’s just a precaution we hope the swelling will be much less by tomorrow and then we can probably wake her up.” “Can I see her?” “Yes, off course I’ll take you to her room.” “Thank you doctor.” I walked behind the doctor to Jenn’s room when we walked in it felt like my heart was going to break with all the machine’s she was connected to. “I’ll come and check on her a bit later.” The doctor said before he walked out. I took her hand and sat next to the bed; they say when you unconscious you can still hear when people talk to you, right now I really hoped it will be true. “Darling, I’m so sorry I should have sent more men with you I never thought they’ll go after you. I’m really sorry.” I took her hand and kissed it. I was resting with my head next to her on the bed when Lucas came back into the room “Boss.” “Yes Lucas?” “Should I go get you some cloths or can I take you home to take a shower and change?” “NO, I’m not leaving her side, but I’ll appreciate it if you’ll go home and get me other cloths and toiletries, I need to wash off all this blood.” “I’m on it boss.” Before he left, I called him back “Lucas please bring Jennifer some cloths as well, I’m sure she would want to wear something else when she wakes up, ask Luna to pack her a bag.” “Okay boss and Sebastian?” “His got the DEA protecting him we need to talk plans to get him away from them. I want him dead Lucas.” “Okay boss.” Lucas left me alone with Jennifer again.
I started to walk up and down in front of the window, fuck I’ll probable need to call Brad and tell him but I need to be careful what I tell him he can’t know this was because of me he will never let her marry me if he knew that, it will just be something else he could throw in front of my face the whole time. I started to dial his number but I just couldn’t press the call button. “Stop being scared Romeo, Romeo Biachi isn’t scared of anyone least of all Bradford Rynn. I press the call button and waited for Brad to answer the call. The phone rang for a while then it went to voice mail, I was definitely not going to tell him his daughter is in hospital via voice mail. So, I disconnected the call and tried again. This time the phone only rang twice before he answered. “Romeo what’s wrong?” “Why would you ask me something like that?” I was immediately defensive “Do you know what time it is?” I looked at my watch and saw it was just before midnight. Fuck I’ve must have woken him up. “Sorry Brad, yes there is something wrong?” “What?” He asked “Jennifer is in hospital she was in a car accident.” “What the fuck?”
