I got Jenn an appointment at the OBGYN that Dr Jacobs recommended, she was full until next month but I told them I will pay her triple her fee if she will see us today. I need to set Jenn’s mind at ease as well as mine. On our way there, I let Ricardo know I need an CEO for Brad’s company, I was happy with Josh at the casino I just need to make sure Josh is indeed happy to be at the casino, then that is sorted out. I got an e-mail almost immediately from Ricardo telling me he knows of an CEO that everyone is headhunting. It sounds expensive but if he is worth it, I will pay him. I send Ricardo and e-mail back telling him I want an interview with this CEO as soon as possible all I got back was done. We stopped at the hospital where the doctors’ rooms where we got in the lift and you could hear a pin drop although we heard the baby’s heartbeat, I’m sure Jenn was still a bit worried I knew I was. When we entered the doctor’s room the receptionist immediately knew who we were. “Mr. and Mrs. Bianchi follow me please.” We walked behind the receptionist to the doctor’s room. When we walked in the doctor got up from her chair and introduce herself to us. “Hi Mr. and Mrs. Bianchi I’m Dr. DeVilliers.” “Hi doctor” both Jenn and I said. “How can I help you today?” she asked. Jenn gave her the letter that Dr Jacobs wrote her. “This is from my GP he did a few bloods test he just wanted you to know which he did.” “Thank you” “Now how can I help?” “I’ve been feeling weird since this morning.” “Tell me about your pregnancy so far.” She asked I looked at Romeo fuck do I tell her everything. “Well, I had very bad morning sickness so far, I slipped and cut my neck open which gave me a bit of stress.” That was a small white lie or some of it was, I was stressing. “The doctor that saw me on our honeymoon told me I had very high blood pressure.” The doctor was making notes as I was speaking. “So far it is just the morning sickness and the high blood pressure that is the problem.” “Okay and I take it Dr. Jacobs did an Ultra sound earlier and everything is as it should be?” “Yes.” “Then just for my piece of mind would you mind if we do another ultra sound?” “No not at all I think it will put my mind at ease to.” We walked to a bed where she told me to lift my shirt. She also put some gel on my stomach and started to move the magic wand looking for our little nugget. “There.” She said showing us the screen. “Everything with the baby looks 100%. Let’s wait for the blood test and then I can call you with the results. One last thing I want to check your blood pressure again.” I knew it was going to be high especially after what happened an hour or two ago with my dad. “It is high, we will have to look at this. It can become a problem.” The doctor told me and Romeo. “We will try to get it under control doctor.” Romeo said. “Good then I’m going to call you with the blood results and we can make an appointment for next month if there is no problem with the blood results.” “Great thank you doctor.” Romeo and I chook her hand and we were just as quickly out of her office as we got there. When we got at home Jenn went to the living room to lie down for an hour before dinner. I had a miss call from Arlo so I had to phone him and tell him what happened today. I went to my office closed the door and made sure Jenn wouldn’t be able to hear me. I dialed Arlo’s number it rang a few times before he answered. “Romeo how are you?” He answered. “Not sure, why did you call me?” “I had a very upset Brad rock up here at my house.” “Oh, really and what did he have to say for himself?” I asked. “He was obviously upset because you are alive and are ruining his life apparently.” “Did he tell you he almost killed his own daughter if Noah and I wasn’t there she would have been dead.” “No fuck man why?” “She confronted him about his problem and he didn’t like it then he lunged at her and started to choke her.
