I told Lucas to take me to Brad’s office I was 100% sure it was him that send the pictures to Francesca my ex. What he was trying to achieve I don’t know but I will find out. When we got to his office, I walked straight pass his PA and into his office. “What the fuck?” Brad yelled at me. “Well, a good morning to you to Brad and I think that is a question I need to ask you. What the fuck?” “Don’t you believe in making appointments or are you going to storm into my office whenever you feel like it?” Brad asked me. “Don’t you believe in keeping your nose out of my business?” “I have no idea what you are talking about Romeo. Just get to the point I’m busy.” “Why did you send the news paper articles to Francesca?” “How do you know it was me?” “Don’t play with me Brad you won’t win.” “I thought she had the right to know you are marrying someone almost half her age.” “And why did you think she should know? To hurt her or did you want her to confront Jenn and upset her. Clearly you don’t’ give a shit about your daughter’s feelings.” “Well, that is a good thing in my books, Jenn needs to see what she’s up against.” “For fuck sakes Brad, Francesca is my ex-wife Jenn is not up against anyone, Jenn is the only women I want.” “I don’t believe you.” “You know what I don’t give a fuck what you believe but if you pull something like that again, there will be consciousness.” “Oh, please what kind of consciousness?” “The kind I’m into Brad like you told Jenn there are rumors I’m part of the Mafia. Believe me you don’t want to mess with me or Jennifer for that matter. “You know what Romeo don’t do anything not until after Sunday’s lunch because I promise you what I have to say to the two of you, you won’t like.” I just gave him a look and walked out of his office I couldn’t deal with him anymore and if I really had to, the dark side will come out. When I got back into my SUV, I told Lucas to take me home I needed to speak to Jennifer.
Jennifer
I was busy looking at dresses and what we can get on such short notice, why haven’t I ever dreamed about a specific wedding dress but these that are available on such sort notice I wasn’t happy with any of them. Why did we had to have the wedding so quickly and why don’t I like to throw names around that is my biggest down fall. I was contemplating phoning Olivia and asking her if she knew where I could get a dress but none of them even phoned me to congratulate me on the engagement so I decided that won’t work. I pushed the dresses to one side and started to look at the cakes. At least I knew what I wanted for a cake; I just want to get an idea of how we will arrange the cupcakes my bakery will bake. I went through the list Caroline gave me and tick down what I decided on already. I still had a long way to go.
I heard someone entering the house, it couldn’t be Romeo it was just to early. I got up to go and have a look. “Hi Jenn.” “Romeo you home early.” He walked straight to me and pulled me to him and hugged me, he took me by surprise but I hugged him back. “What’s wrong?” He hugged me tighter, “I just need to hold you for a few minutes before we talk okay.” “Okay.” We stood in the foyer him holding me as tight as he can without suffocating me. When he eventually pulled away, I could see his face relaxed a bit.
“You wanne talk about it?” “Your dad is up to something Jenn.” His always up to something.” “No, you don’t understand his the one that send the photos of our engagement to my ex, the reason she came to confront you.” “Why? Why would he do something like that?” “I went to him and asked him; he wants you to see what you are up against.” “But you are divorced?” “Yes, Jenn we are and I did tell him you are the only women I want then he told me we shouldn’t make any plans until Sunday because apparently I’m going to change my mind after we meet with him.” “What the fuck Romeo? What can he possible say that will make us change our minds? Does he have something on you?” “Fuck no he doesn’t.” “Even if he did, I will still marry you.” I told him. “Thank you darling. I thought we should go to him tonight catch him off guard I’m not a person that can wait.” “He won’t be happy Romeo.” “You know what Jenn I’m not happy with him, with how he treated you with how his trying to get between us and he made the biggest mistake he told me today his not afraid of me clearly he doesn’t know me yet.” “But you were friends for years.” “I’m glad you said were because his definitely not a friend of mine anymore not if he can treat you this badly and have no interest in your feelings.” “Thank you, Romeo, thank you for taking my feelings in consideration you are the first man to ever do that.” “So, what do you say, you wanne upset your dad a bit?” “Hell yes.”
