I could see Jennifer is close to a panic attack I mean she’s keeping it together quite well at the moment but what did her friends think taking her ex to a club she had to get tickets for. “Tell me I didn’t hear you right?” she begged. “Jenn let’s go to the roof.” I knew if I get her out in the open and get some fresh air in her the panic attack might stay at bay. But she didn’t want to move she wanted answers “Romeo please tell me my so-called friends didn’t ask me for a VIP ticket for my ex-boyfriend?” “Sorry Jenn I can’t.” I unlock the door and took her hand leading her to the roof. She was still in her head still wondering what the fuck was going on she just walked where ever I told her to. When we got to the roof she took a huge breath. “Okay tell me what’s going on?” “I told you Jenn the extra ticket was for Kyle.” “Okay I get that. Why did JP phone you? Why didn’t he just let them in?” Here comes the tricky part did I over stop or not. Well, she’s going to find out sooner or later might as well get everything out in the open tonight. “I called my manager and banned Kyle from all my clubs and all the clubs that I have influence at.” “You did what?” she almost screamed at me “You heard me I’m not going to let you go out with him larking in the background trying to sweep in or make your nights uncomfortable when you go out.” “But it will be uncomfortable now because he will think it was me. He will most definitely come to the bakery and make a scene.” “Then I get a bodyguard at the bakery as well, I’m not going to allow anyone to take you for granted anymore Jenn I told you I look after what is mine and you agreeing to be my sub, contract or not means you are mine. That means I take care of you.” “You don’t see the problem here do you Romeo?” she said with her hands flying in the air. “No, I have the power to ban him, so I did, there is no problem.” “And when he looks into the matter?” she asked me “What then what will he find out?” I told her “It might lead to you?” “Who the fuck will tell him it was me and how will he put you and me together, don’t look for problems where there is none.” “What if he goes to my dad?” “Are they close?” Did should be interesting “No but what if?” “Jenn there is a lot of ‘What If’s’ in the world I don’t lead my life by them or else I wouldn’t be as rich and powerful as I am. Stop worrying about the what if’s and just live your life. If he comes to the bakery tell him you have no idea what his talking about.” “You don’t know him he won’t believe me, who else will do it to him?” “Jennifer, I’m telling you again if he bothers you at the bakery and he doesn’t take your word for it I’ll have a bodyguard in the bakery everyday to keep him out.” “That’s not the point Romeo.” “Then what is? I saw a problem and I sorted it out, now you can party with your so-called friends without Kyle bothering you although clearly he has something for one of your friends if they wanted him to go with.” “He could have begged them.” “Jennifer please stop making excuses for your friends and see the writing on the wall they do not worry about you one bit or your feelings for that matter.” “But …” “No but’s Jenn it’s clear as day.”

I couldn’t believe what Romeo was telling me first of all that Kyle was going out with my friends which was bad enough but him banning Kyle from all the clubs he had influence at was another story, it will open a whole new can of worms. Kyle is like a dog with a bone when he get’s hold of something he doesn’t stop until he has answers and interfering with his night live is definitely a bone he wouldn’t leave. I was afraid he will get to the truth, how I didn’t know but if he did it will be the end of me and Romeo not to mention Romeo’s relationship with my dad. I could feel the panic attack approaching faster than when we where in the VIP room probable because Romeo didn’t see any problem with the whole situation. I tried to make excuses for my friends but to be truthful it sounded lame to my own ears as well. I walked closer to the edge of the room looking at the view and breathing in and out counting till ten in and out. I could feel the panic subsiding, Romeo’s arms came around me after a while. “You feeling better?” “I truly don’t know Romeo. Kyle is like a dog with a bone I’m really scared he will find out the truth.” He turned me around to look at him, the wind had my hair in my face. Romeo moved the hair out of my face “Jennifer please put your faith in me, I promise you he won’t find out anything and if he does, I’ll take care of it okay.” “What do you mean take care of it?” “Jennifer listen what I’m telling you and believe me please I’m begging you and I don’t beg anyone for anything. He will never find out and he won’t put us together ever. Will you take my word for it?” I looked him in his eyes and there was no hesitation or doubt, it will be as he said. “I can’t promise you anything Romeo I don’t want to lie to you but I will try.” “That’s all I’m asking for Jenn, just have some faith in me. That also means if he comes to the bakery at any time you have to let me know I can’t have control of the situation if I don’t know everything.” “I’ll tell you Romeo I promise.” “Good now can we go back and enjoy the rest of the evening?” “Just one more thing.” “Okay what?” “Can you call JP and find out what happened?” “Are you sure Jenn?” “Yes, I’m sure. I need to know.”
