After breakfast in the pool, I went to take a shower, I blow dried my hair and got dressed in a light sunny dress. I went to the guest bedroom to get my other wedding dress and my shoes but when I looked for it it was gone. “Fuck did I forget them? But I was sure I hanged them here.” I said out load, I went looking for Romeo. He was sitting in the living room with just a towel around his waist. When he looked at me, he could see there was something wrong “What’s wrong Jenn?” “My dress and shoes I think I forgot them, but then I’m also sure I hanged them in the guest bedroom.” “Relax Jenn Fred took everything to the spa you getting dressed there and someone will do your hair and make up there.” “Jeez Romeo, you almost gave me a heart attack.” I’m sorry angel.” “No, it’s okay as long as it’s at the spa.” “Well, it is. Are you ready to go Elijah will walk with you.” I’m sure even if the threat wasn’t there that Sebastian’s cousin was coming Elijah would have walked with me so I’m not going to make a fuss about that. I walked to stand in front of him I pulled his head to my stomach and just played with his hair. “I’ll see you later?” “I’ll see you later Jenn I’ll be the one in white waiting for you?” “Hey that’s my line.” He got up and kissed me. “I’ll wait for you angel.” I grabbed my bag and walked to the front door where Elijah was waiting for me. “Hi Elijah.” “Hi Jennifer, how are you?” “I’m okay a bit stressed.” “About?” “That is a silly question.” “Sorry but you don’t need to be stress about Sebastian’s cousin we won’t let him get anywhere near you or boss.” “I know you guys will do everything in your power to stop him Elijah but accidents happen looked what happened at the wedding.” “Yes, but that was something else.” “What do you mean that was something else?” “Boss was anxious he didn’t want the guest to know what was going on that is why he went outside in normal circumstances he wouldn’t have done that.” “Okay I understand.” “Now please Jennifer enjoy your day in the spa relax and just enjoy it we will take care of everything else.” “I will Elijah thank you for the pep talk.” “Anytime.” I had to smile at him the way he said anytime was so funny maybe it was his accent.
When I got to the spa, I was booked for everything on the menu, from mani and Pedi’s to a facial, massages, hot stone therapy and at the end of the day make up and hair. I was giving a glass of champagne and was led to a chair where they started with my feet. When my feet were done, I was already relaxed, it felt like I was flying high and I’m not going to lie after last night’s stress this felt so much better.
Romeo
When Jenn was gone, I started to work on some of my e-mails, there was an e-mail from Sonja telling me Brad was making trouble again. He tried to get to the office and security had to take him away and then there was an incident at the Casino to. Both Sonja and Josh asked me to contact them. Something must be up if they wanted to talk to me. I checked the time and decided to call Sonja first the phone rang a few times but then she answered “Romeo sorry hi.” She said but it was clear she was sleeping. “Shit sorry Sonja do I have the time wrong?” “No, it’s okay I know this is the only time you can call.” “Okay let’s cut to the chase, what’s going on?” “It’s Mr. Rynn Romeo, he comes to the office almost every day and every day his drunk, the security tells me they can smell him a mile away and he makes a scene every time he gets to the office it’s takes like 2 security guards to take him back to his car.” “Okay and is his driver bringing him to the office?” “No that’s the thing his driving himself.” “What? His driving drunk?” “Yes, that is why I’m calling otherwise I wouldn’t have bothered you with this.” “Shit Sonja okay I’ll have a word with his house staff and his driver. I take it that is the same reason Josh wants to speak to me?” “I’m not sure probable.” “Okay I’ll wait a while before I call him.” “No, you can call him his most nights at the casino he says it’s when it’s the busiest he goes home in the afternoon for a nap.” “Okay thank you Sonja, I’ll call him.” When I disconnected the call, I knew I can’t tell Jennifer about this she would freak out, I mean I’m freaking out.
I called Josh and he immediately answered the call “Romeo how are you?” “Hi Josh I’m good and you?” “Busy but I like it I like it a lot.” “Good I’m hearing stuff about Bradford showing up drunk at the office is he doing the same at the casino?” “Yes, he got past the guard one night and staggered threw the casino it was really not a good thing for the casino.” “And what happened?” “He made a scene in the office at least not in the main lounge, security took him out but he was reeking of alcohol and we had to put him in an Uber with lots of difficulty he just wanted to drive his own car home.” “I’ll speak to his driver and I’ll try to talk to him.” “He doesn’t want to listen to anything Romeo but you can try.” “I have to try Josh for Jennifers sake.” “Okay I’ll keep you updated.” “Thank you, Josh.,” When I put the phone down all I could think about was “Fuck his loosing it.”
