I was scared shitless with everything that was happening around me, Lucas was giving a statement regarding Romeo’s death, Elijah was organizing flights back to Las Vegas and a flight for me, him and Levi to Switzerland, we needed to charter a plane because Romeo couldn’t trust anyone else except for his pilot, we needed to travel under different names, this was also being organized by Henry while everyone was on the phone, Rebecca was packing our bags I was sitting with my hands in my hair because what the fuck did I just agreed to, another 19 hour flight miles and miles away from Romeo and then it’s winter in Switzerland I only have summer cloths with me, yes that is the least of my problems but I needed to concentrate on something else, something other than my husbands death. When Romeo was done, he came to sit with me holding my hand.
“Everything is going to be okay.” The only thing that came out of my mouth was “I don’t have winter clothes.” Then I started to cry. Clearly things were just getting to much for me. I thought I kept everything together well enough, but now I just can’t anymore. “Hey hey.” Romeo pulled me into his lap and rocked with me like you would do with a child. “I’ll get my personal shopper to get you the necessities angel and then you can go shopping when you are there. But I’m sure the tears are not because of your clothing?” “No, it’s not, everything is just getting to much for me.” “You leaving to go back to Vegas and then to Mexico, me going to Switzerland under a false name non the less, I mean what if something happens to you.” “Nothing is going to happen to me angel, I promise you I will be safe and careful.” “What do I tell Tom, Aldo and Rufus if they call me?” “I already send them a message telling them I am alive but I’m in trouble, they are the only people that knows where you are going if they need to get hold of you for some or other reason.” “You mean if you die?” “No angel if something happens with your father.” “Oh, shit then there is that.”
Romeo
Jennifer was freaking out it was as clear as day, I had no idea how to calm her down, I’m sure this was not good for her blood pressure but unfortunately things need to be done and I’ll just feel so much better if she is far away from danger. I know we where half way around the world when danger got to us but they are after me not Jenn, I will make sure all of them pay for the trauma they are putting us through. Jenn was crying about her wardrobe I was very sure that wasn’t the problem and it wasn’t she was afraid something will happen to me. I promised her nothing would but that is the other thing I can’t really promise her that. But that was the only way I could get her to calm down. “Promise me when you are in Switzerland you will enjoy the shops and sleep as much as you can, the past few weeks has taken it’s toll on you.” “I will I promise at this stage I’m not sure I’m going to leave the chalet.” “No angel don’t stay inside it’s a beautiful place and I want you to enjoy it, Elijah and Levi will be with you the whole time and no one will know where you are except for Aldo and the others.” “I’ll try okay, I’ll try.” “That’s all I’m asking of you.”
Rebecca has already packed everything for us the suitcases were brought down to the foyer. Henry ordered some new passports that was delivered a few minutes ago, yes everything was going very fast, there where a few G-Wagons in the drive way, I needed to say goodbye to Jenn we were flying out of 2 different airports. “Jenn, we need to go.” “I don’t want to leave you.” She cried. “I’m sorry angel and I know I have a lot to make up for the wedding our honeymoon the fact that I’m dead.” I smiled a little when I said that, she didn’t think I was funny. “I know and I will I promise when this is sorted out, we will never be away from each other again.” “You promise?” “Yes, angel I promise, you go with Elijah and Levi, they will protect you with their lives.” “Why can’t I drive with you?” “We going to another airport angel. I’ll call you every day, okay?” “Okay.” She grabbed me around my neck and held me sobbing in my neck. “I love you Romeo Bianchi.” “I love you to Jennifer Bianchi, remember that always.” She let go of me and got in the other G-Wagon when they left, I went back inside the house to give Rebecca a huge tip, making sure she won’t tell anyone I was still alive then I got in the G-Wagon and 4 G-Wagon’s where driving to the airport. I might be dead but they still can follow my men to make sure. You can never be too careful. I have a wife to think about as well as a child on the way, careful will be my middle name from now on.
We where driving to the airport like I was the president, we where driving fast and any potential car that could be following us, we split up and made sure we weren’t followed. When we got to the airport we stopped as close as possible to the plane, I jumped out and Lucas, Henry and a few other men I was taking with me, where flanking me and running up the stairs to the plane when we where in the door was sealed as quickly as possible and we where in the air within 15 minutes of me getting into the plane. “We are safe boss.” Lucas said as we where in the air. “For now, Lucas for now.”
