Elijah we just need to drop Eva at the Hotel.” I told him. When we got to the Hotel Eva gave me a hug, “Call if you need to talk.” “Thank you, Eva.” When she was out, I called Romeo. The phone rang a few times then it went to voice mail. I didn’t want to leave a message because what do I say, and I really wanted him with me. “Where to?” Elijah asked me. “Dr. DeVilliers rooms Elijah.” He looked confused but didn’t say anything. I tried Romeo again. His phone rang a few times before he answered “Angel just hold on for a minute. I heard him tell someone “Set it up I’ll be there.” Then he answered “Sorry about that angel how are you?” “I don’t know Romeo the OBGYN just called and told me I need to come to her office my blood work just came back.” “Did she say what was wrong?” “No, she just said she needs to speak to me, will you please get me there, I’m to nervous to go on my own.” “Off course I will angel, I’ll meet you there.” “Thank you, Romeo.” “Any time angel and don’t stress please not before we know what is going on.” “I’ll try but I can’t promise anything.”

I met John at Brad’s office I introduced him to the security team and went up the lift to the top floor where Brad’s office is. When we got there everyone jumped up to greet me when I introduced John to them as their new boss there was a few concerned faces but overall, everyone seemed keen to work with him. I took him to Brad’s office where we found Sonja the look that Sonja gave John and the look he gave her, I saw trouble coming but I won’t get involved I mean I’m the last person to tell someone they can’t get involved. When we went to the meeting in the conference room, I introduced John to everyone John made a speech, everyone was very excited about the new chapter. My work at Brad’s company was done, now I just have to look at John’s performance the rest I leave to him. I excused myself and left. I felt so good when I walked out of that building it was like that building was like a black cloud over my life but the sun is shinning again and I couldn’t be happier.
I went to Club X where I could sit and do some work in peace and quiet there is no Ricardo that will bother me with some or other problem, he wants me to take care of. On my way up to my office I spoke to the manager and asked him how things where going, he told me he send through the Profit and Lost reports to my e-mail but according to him we have never done any better, even the other clubs I owned was doing that good. Maybe it’s because they wanted to come to a dead man’s club, people are weird these days. And now that I’m back I’m guessing we are even going to make more money. I walked to my office grabbing a cup of coffee first.
I was deep into my Profit and Lost sheets for the few clubs I own when Ricardo stormed into my office. “Jeez Ricardo I came to this office to get away from you.” “I figured but unfortunately you can’t hide from me or your responsibilities.” “What the fuck do you mean by that?” “Well, I’m back to the cocaine business Romeo.” “Fuck Ricardo I said I don’t want to know about it anymore.” “Then I have a question for you?” “And what will that be?” “You still want the cocaine business?” “Fuck off course I do, you know how much money that brings in.” “Well then you have to get involved Romeo, the new cartel we want to get our cocaine from don’t want to talk to me or Lucas before they spoke to you. They heard about the whole Sebastian thing and his cousin and that you took them all out. They want to come to an agreement that will benefit all of us and that no one gets killed when things go south.” “But I gave you and Lucas carte blanch.” “They don’t care.” “Who are we talking about?” “The Jalis Cartel.” “The Jalis Cartel?” “Yes.” “Fuck Ricardo.” “They were the only ones that wasn’t afraid to do business with us.” My phone started ringing but I let it go over to voice mail. “When do they want to meet?” “As soon as possible.” My phone started ringing again, I saw it was Jenn so I answered “Angel just hold on for a second.” “Set it up I’ll be there.”

Why would she want to see us? What on earth could be wrong. I grab my jacket and ran out of my office I even ran past Lucas and Ricardo who was probably discussing the cartel. “What’s wrong boss?” Lucas asked “It’s Jenn she needs to see the doctor.” I didn’t hear what they said after I said that because I was past them and in my SUV in seconds.
