Romeo
To think the first person, she thought of when she woke up was not herself but Elijah. She was really a rare diamond and I thank God I walked into that club that specific Friday night. “His okay darling.” As soon as I said it, I could see her relaxing. And then she must have remembered something “Are you okay?” she asked me. “Darling please let the doctor look at you, we are all okay we just worried about you.” That made her relax. I took her hand and held it the whole time the doctor was busy with her. “Your head will still hurt because of the concussion as well as all the cuts and bruises but I’ll make sure they give you something for pain every 6 hours, okay?” “Thank you doctor.” She said with a shaky voice. “I’ll come and check on you again later.” The doctor left Jenn and me alone. “Are you sure you are, okay?” she asked me “I’m fine Jenn, they where after you.” “But why?” she asked “They wanted to get to me through you. I’m so sorry Jenn I should have send more men with you I shouldn’t have just send Elijah and Levi.” “It’s okay Romeo we didn’t know.” “You could have died.” I said with actual tears in my eyes. “But I didn’t Romeo I’m okay.” “You are far from okay Jenn you have a concussion, broken arm and lots of cuts and bruises on your head and face.” “But I’m still alive.” “Thank God for that.”

When I woke up, I was still in and out I could hear someone saying I should open my eyes but I didn’t want to, keeping my eyes closed made me feel better. I felt someone taking my hand and realized I need to open my eyes for Romeo I need to know that Elijah and Romeo are okay. When I open my eyes, I started to panic there was something stuffed down my throat and I didn’t like it at all. The doctor soon told me to not panic and to cough when he says so. So that is what I did and the ventilator was taken out. Thank goodness for that. When I saw Romeo, I had to asked “Elijah” “His okay darling.” That made me relax. I thought if I was this bad Elijah could be dead, I mean they did hit us pretty hard and the car did roll. Then I realized Romeo went to the dessert with the other man and I was stressed again “Are you okay?” “Darling please let the doctor look at you, we are all okay we just worried about you.” Those words made me relax everyone is okay it’s just me and Elijah that was in hospital or that is how it sounded. The doctor took my vitals, looked at my eyes with a torch when he was happy, he told me he will make sure I get pain killers because of the concussion and all the cuts and bruises I will have a lot of pain. I did feel the pain he talked about but when he left a nurse came in and gave me more pain killers. Thank goodness for that. When Romeo and I was alone I asked him “What happened?” “Well, it will appear they where after you.” He said. That just confused me why would they come after me “But Why?” I asked him. “They wanted to get to me through you.” “Fuck” “I’m sorry darling.” He felt so bad he kept on saying I could have been dead but the fact is I’m not we are all still alive it doesn’t help thinking about what could have been. “Do you know who the guys where working for?” “Yes, luckily, we found that out. Don’t worry darling he won’t bother you again I promise you that.” “I’m not worried Romeo, I know you won’t let anything else happen to me.” “You damn right nothing will happen to you again.” “Did you let my father know?” “I did he wanted to come over I told him I’ve got it handled. I told him you wanted to go to your apartment and a lunatic drove you guys of the road. If I tell him the truth, he will make sure to do everything in his power so we don’t get married.” “I know I wanted to tell you to lie to him. Thank God you did.” “I will not loose you Jenn I won’t ever lose you.” He came and gave me a hug very carefully to afraid to hurt me.
When he pulled away, I asked him “Is there a way to get something to eat I’m starving.” “Yes, off course I’ll send Lucas to get you something can he bring you a coffee as well?” “Yes please.” While Romeo went to talk to Lucas, I just closed my eyes. My eyes were feeling heavy so I closed them. Clearly, I fell asleep.
Romeo
When I got back in the room, Jenn was out. Clearly those pain meds were doing their job. I took the opportunity to call Brad. I walked out of the room and stood in the hallway to talk to him, I didn’t want to wake Jenn. “Romeo.” “Hi Brad, Jennifer is awake and fine.” “Are you sure?” “Yes, she has a concussion and a broken arm but other than that she’s okay.” “Just a broken arm and a concussion.” He said sarcastically. “I didn’t mean it like that Brad I mean she’s awake and alive I will let her call you as soon as she’s awake.” “Do that.” “Okay cheers.” Before I could disconnect the call Brad said “Before you go. I just want you to know I’m checking out your story about them being driven off the road.” “Do as you please Brad, I’ve got nothing to hide.” Then I disconnect the call. Fuck I need to call my contact at the police and make sure they give him the right information all though the police weren’t involved in last nights incident. I immediately called my contact while Jenn was still sleeping.
