Chapter 105

Leopold stared at the car for a moment before telling Kevin, who was about to start the engine, "To Moonlit Dunes Resort!"

Kevin thought about reminding him of the dinner plans but decided against it. "Yes, Mr. Neville."

When Leopold's car pulled up outside Moonlit Dunes Resort, he felt something was off.

He was pretty sure there were reporters lurking around!

Leopold walked into the resort without showing any emotion. The lobby manager spotted him and rushed over, "Good evening, Mr. Neville!"

Leopold gave a slight nod and headed straight for the elevator.

If you looked closely, you'd see his steps were a bit hurried.

"Mr. Neville, which floor?" The manager was ready to press the button.

"12," Leopold said.

"Mr. Neville, the elevator is here. I'll go up with you," the manager offered.

"No need," Leopold said, stepping into the elevator with an air of dignity.

The doorbell rang, and inside the room, Agnes was so nervous her legs felt like jelly.

She took a few deep breaths before opening the door.

Sure enough, it was him!

Her nervousness vanished, and Agnes joyfully jumped into Leopold's arms. "Leopold!"

A smile spread across Leopold's face, his bright white teeth gleaming. His gentle smile lit up the room.

It was then he noticed Agnes was wearing a thin bathrobe, not an outer garment.

She was making her intentions clear; if Leopold didn't get it, he'd be a fool.

Without wasting time, the man of action took immediate steps.

Agnes stood on tiptoe and sneakily reached into Leopold's pocket, pulling out his phone and triumphantly waving it before turning it off.

She loved him deeply and couldn't wait to give herself completely to him. She wouldn't let anyone like Lydia ruin their long-overdue wedding night.

The turned-off phone was tossed aside, and Leopold picked her up by the waist, carrying her into the inner room.

The room was dimly lit, and the air was filled with a warm atmosphere.

Leopold's voice was hoarse. "Agnes, I'll always love you."

Caught up in his masculine charm, Agnes suddenly remembered something and snapped out of it, trying to pull herself away from the enchanting atmosphere.

She quickly covered his lips with her right hand and reached under the pillow, pulling out a small black velvet box.

When the box opened, the item inside made Leopold's expression turn playful.

"Leopold, from today on, you are mine," Agnes declared, "and let this ring be our vow!"

Agnes had worked hard to save money just to buy Leopold a ring.

With her relentless efforts, her wish finally came true!

Without caring about Leopold's surprised expression, she slipped the ring onto his finger, and it fit perfectly.

Agnes felt proud of choosing such a suitable ring. With this ring, she thought, those women would surely stay away from him when he socialized outside, right?

Leopold held her hand tightly. "Agnes, this kind of thing..."

Sensing his hesitation, Agnes wrapped her arms around his neck and gave him a light kiss. "Let's not worry about who should be proactive. As long as we're happy, isn't that what matters?"

Her unexpected perspective left him momentarily stunned, but then he laughed softly and affectionately kissed her fragrant hair. "Yes, whatever you say, Mrs. Neville."

She truly was one of a kind.

Leopold hadn't anticipated that she would be one step ahead of him. Actually, Dennis had found the diamond rough a month ago, which was currently being crafted into a ring, expected to be completed in half a month. But here, Agnes couldn't wait, and this situation made him feel deeply gratified, as it proved she had him in her heart.

Leopold didn't bother explaining why he hadn't given her a ring yet; he just held her tightly in his arms.

The night was silent, and the two of them were lost in an amazing experience.

The vision Leopold had longed for finally came true.

The next morning, it was Agnes's phone alarm that woke her up. Even though the phone was off, the alarm still went off right on time.

She reached out to grab the phone, but her arm was too sore to move.

Just then, the alarm stopped.

She lazily opened her eyes and saw Leopold by the bed, turning off the phone. She mumbled, "Leopold, what time is it?"

Agnes suddenly opened her eyes wide and quickly sat up as she remembered what happened last night.

Leopold was sitting on the edge of the bed, smiling. "You're awake? Are you hungry?"

The scenes from last night flashed through her mind. Agnes pulled the blanket over her head. "Leopold, why are you still here?"

Thinking about how she had been so forward, she felt super shy.

Leopold pulled the blanket off her head and looked at her with amusement. "Why are you so shy now?"

Usually, she was pretty bold and would sometimes joke around with him.

"No... nothing." Despite her words, Agnes's cheeks were as red as apples, totally giving her away.

Leopold's smile grew as he held her in his arms and gently kissed her messy hair. "Are you hungry? Go freshen up, and I'll have lunch brought up."

"Okay, but you go out first." She had booked the presidential suite, which had another room outside.

Not only did Leopold not get up, but he also pressed her down and gave her a deep kiss before reluctantly letting go.

She absentmindedly finished freshening up.

Agnes neatly tied her hair into a bun at the back of her head, and the delicate earrings on her earlobes highlighted her feminine charm. Her eyes were sharp, and her face radiated intelligence and wit.

She wore a well-tailored, open-neck fitted suit, with the collar of her white shirt slightly open, revealing a small patch of delicate skin, embodying the professionalism of a career woman. The skirt reached her knees, accentuating her graceful figure. In the sunlight, every step she took in her high heels exuded confidence and joy.

When she turned on her phone, it showed countless missed call notifications.

On WhatsApp, several people had also messaged her.

Kelly: [Agnes, well done!]

Justin had sent many messages, the first one being: [Agnes, you need to stay calm! That must be fake!]

Bella: [Agnes, where are you? I'll come to find you. Don't do anything foolish!]

Jeremy: [Whatever it is, talk it out with Mr. Neville. No matter the outcome, we support you!]

What on earth happened?

She glanced at the Twitter push notification, which shocked her: #Leopold Neville spent the night at a five-star hotel, insiders revealed a mysterious woman was waiting in the room.

She opened Twitter, but it didn't respond for a long time, even though her phone had a signal.

Clicking on the news headline, she saw Leopold's name, and it was trending.

The next headline was: #Leopold Neville secretly meets with a college girl at a hotel.

It turned out that Twitter's server had crashed due to the explosive news of Leopold and a woman checking into a hotel.

But the key wasn't that. The key was that Leopold was photographed entering the hotel last night?

At that moment, the protagonist of the news, Leopold, appeared in front of her, who was still in a daze on the bed. "All done freshening up?"

"Leopold, did you really hold a press conference?" She remembered joking with him about choosing a special day to get married. He had said he would hold a press conference to let the whole world know he was going to marry her.
