Chapter 55
Agnes looked at the impulsive Justin and sighed, letting go of the girl she was holding. She tugged at his sleeve, "Alright, alright, get down. And don't ever invite me to these kinds of parties again!"
Justin hopped off the chair, shook off Agnes, and headed towards the group of girls.
He grabbed a plate of sauce and splashed it on a girl's light-colored skirt, ignoring her screams. Then he started scolding them, "You really think Agnes doesn't know about the little tricks you pull on her at school?"
He grabbed some food and threw it at another girl, staining her sweater. 'You should be thankful you're girls! Otherwise, you guys are toast today!
The remaining girls were almost in tears. They never expected Justin and Agnes to be so terrifying!
The room went silent, except for one boy who was calmly eating. Agnes glanced over and was shocked to see Austin, the youngest son of the Perez family, sitting there too.
She hadn't noticed him earlier, but that wasn't the point. Getting out of there was the key.
Agnes pulled Justin out of the room, and in their haste, they accidentally bumped into two people.
One of them, a woman in high heels, was knocked to the ground. "Who the hell dares to bump into me!"
Agnes was stunned for a moment and hurried to help the woman, Phoebe, up. "I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I didn't mean to."
With the help of the man next to her, Cecil, they got Phoebe up. Amid Phoebe's incessant complaints, Agnes realized who she had bumped into.
Agnes felt really unlucky today. After causing a scene in the room, she now ran into the couple who threw a drink bottle from their luxury car in the morning.
Cecil, who was with Phoebe, also recognized her and immediately got furious, raising his hand to slap Agnes. "You little bitch!"
Agnes reacted quickly, grabbed Cecil's wrist, pulled him forward, and tripped him, causing him to fall to the ground.
The girls who came out of the room shrank back at the sight.
Agnes's skills were impressive; she easily took down a grown man. They were glad she hadn't used those skills on them earlier.
Phoebe also recognized Agnes and, ignoring Cecil on the ground, picked up her bag to hit Agnes. "Great, I was looking for you, and you came right to us!"
Justin snatched Phoebe's bag and threw it aside in one smooth motion.
Seeing that Agnes had help, Phoebe turned her attention back to Cecil. "Cecil, Cecil, are you okay?"
"Help me up; I'm going to kill her today!" Cecil said.
The commotion left everyone stunned, with the classmates and waiters from the room and dozens of people crowding the hallway.
Meanwhile, Leroy had just left the room and received a notification about a charge on his membership card. Leroy was puzzled. This was Leopold's club, so he never had to pay here. He had long lost the card Leopold gave him, so why was there a $60,000 charge?
He was about to ask the cashier when he saw several waiters rushing down another hallway. Curious, he decided to follow them.
"What's all the noise about over there?" Leroy asked the manager, Francis Jimenez, who was standing next to him.
Francis, who had been busy with three VIPs, looked just as confused and shook his head.
Agnes, blocked by Phoebe and the tattooed Cecil, was getting frustrated. Just as she was about to make a move, Justin grabbed her arm and whispered, "Agnes, that's Cecil. He's a gangster with a criminal record and multiple stints in prison. Your husband isn't here, so don't mess with him."
Agnes felt stuck. She couldn't possibly call Leopold, could she?
Would Leopold really risk offending a big shot in the underworld for her? She wasn't sure.
Justin hesitated, "Should I call Leroy? He's also involved in the underworld; maybe he can help."
"What's going on here?" A voice came from the back of the crowd, and everyone turned to look.
In just a few seconds, Agnes heard people exclaiming a very familiar name, "Isn't that Mr. Neville?"
"I didn't expect to see Mr. Neville here! And Mr. Hayes and Mr. Smith."
"How can these three men be so handsome!"
Hearing that familiar name, Agnes, who was already frustrated, trembled. Why was Leopold here? She had planned to be back by eight to for his tutoring session, but now she ran into him at seven. How awkward!
A waiter reported the situation truthfully, "Mr. Jimenez, someone is causing trouble here. Someone smashed the Diamond Suite and then angered Cecil."
Francis glanced at the unfamiliar girl in the crowd and indifferently ordered, "Double the compensation for the damaged items, and make her kneel and apologize to Cecil!"
As soon as he finished speaking, Justin appeared like a ghost and kicked Francis in the shin, "You dare make her kneel and apologize? Do you even know who she is!"
Ignoring Francis's livid face, Justin stood next to Leopold, about to ask for his help for Agnes, but then thought better of it. This was between Leopold and Agnes; why should he interfere?
So, Justin remained silent and stepped back to his original position.
Everyone was left bewildered by Justin's actions.
Francis didn't know who Agnes was, but seeing Justin's stance, he didn't bother dealing with him now, "Everyone, clear the way and let the VIPs leave first." He would handle the rest later.
As for Justin, who kicked him, he would break his leg sooner or later!
Leroy saw Justin and immediately understood the reason for the charge on his card. He also recognized Agnes, raised an eyebrow, and waited for the show to begin.
Thinking of this, Leroy nudged Clifford and whispered, "See that girl who smashed the Diamond Suite? That's Leopold's wife!"
Clifford rolled his eyes and deliberately kept his distance.
Leroy was annoyed and muttered to himself, "Do I have the plague or something? Why is Clifford avoiding me like that?"
"Isn't this Mr. Neville, Mr. Smith, and Mr. Hayes? Hello! Is your gathering over?" Cecil, seeing Leopold, suppressed his anger and greeted them with a smile.
