Chapter 32

"You swiped my stuff, and I'm only being nice by not decking you!" Agnes threatened, her fist raised. Grace ducked and scrambled to grab her wallet.

Ernest saw Grace getting bullied and pointed right at Agnes's face. "If you keep being so arrogant, and I'll get security to toss you out!"

Agnes just clapped her hands, unfazed. "Go ahead!" She wasn't easily scared.

In this world, she feared no one except Leopold; he was the only one who made her nervous. Did Ernest have the guts to call Leopold to handle her?

Meanwhile, near the entrance of the suit store, a group of people were chatting. When they saw the wallet get tossed out, they went silent.

Leopold noticed the wallet being thrown and a girl with teary eyes picking it up.

The mall's general manager, sweating bullets, saw what was happening and quickly said, "Mr. Neville, let's check out that store!"

Leopold had shown up unannounced to inspect the mall, making everyone scramble.

As Leopold's expression grew colder, the general manager's sweat increased.

Leopold seemed to ignore the general manager, coldly watching the scene at the suit store.

Next thing you know, Ernest got shoved out, and it was Agnes who did it.

The crowd, now about a dozen people, started whispering and pointing at the suit store.

The general manager, seeing Ernest get pushed out, was freaking out. How could Ernest mess up in front of Leopold?

Ernest, barely keeping his cool, rushed back in the store, grabbed Agnes's wrist, and dragged her out. "You dare mess with me?"

Agnes looked at Ernest holding her wrist and signaled to Bella and Clara, who were about to step in.

Outside the suit store, she let go of Ernest's hand and, without a word, flipped him over her shoulder.

She didn't hit women, but men? She'd beat any jerk until they were black and blue!

Ernest's screams echoed through the mall's third floor. More people gathered, blocking Leopold's group's view.

The woman who made the move looked really familiar. Leopold suddenly felt uneasy and quickly walked over.

The general manager and his crew, trailing behind, were internally panicking, 'It's over, it's over!'

Once the pain subsided, Grace helped Ernest up from the ground. He glared at Agnes, not caring about his image.

Ernest stepped forward, raising his hand to slap Agnes, but she blocked his arm. Before he could react, she kicked him again.

"Agnes! You're awesome!" Bella cheered, excitedly watching the badass Agnes.

Clara also praised her, "Agnes, you're my hero!"

Leopold, who had just arrived, heard Ernest's cries and Clara and Bella calling Agnes's name.

The onlookers, sensing Leopold's powerful presence, immediately made way for him to see what was going on.

Ernest was sprawled on the ground, struggling to get up while Agnes looked like she was ready to pummel him again.

"Dammit, Agnes, I'm gonna teach you a lesson today!" Ernest finally managed to get up, his awkward stance making everyone snicker.

Grace, seeing this, didn't dare to step forward, afraid Agnes might turn on her too.

Agnes raised her leg and kicked Ernest in the stomach just as he stood up. He let out another wail, clutching his stomach and nearly collapsing.

Using all his strength, he staggered to Agnes, ready to slap her hard.

But his arm was blocked again, and this time, it wasn't by Agnes.

Agnes, confused, felt a familiar cold presence and looked incredulously at Leopold standing behind Ernest.

How did she run into Leopold here again? Was her luck just that bad?

Was he here shopping with another woman?

Ernest, clueless about who was behind him, turned around angrily, ready to curse. But when he met Leopold's icy gaze, he instantly shut up.

Only one person in Lumina City had such a cold stare, and that was Leopold.

Realizing this, Ernest was instantly dumbfounded.

Leopold flung Ernest's arm away, sending him rolling ten feet. Ernest's ridiculous fall made everyone laugh even harder.

The only ones not laughing were the leaders present and Agnes. Bella and Clara, seemingly forgetting the past conflict between Leopold and Agnes, were still lost in their girlish fantasies, staring at Leopold.

Meeting Leopold's gaze, Agnes was so scared she couldn't even speak. She completely lost her previous arrogance, standing aside like a scolded child, clutching her clothes tightly.

What now? Was he going to throw her out again?

Leopold coldly looked at a sales associate in the suit store, "What's going on?" His presence was so intimidating that the associate stammered, unable to speak.

Grace was completely stunned when she saw Leopold. The legendary Leopold had appeared, and he was incredibly handsome! Remembering the previous school incident, it seemed he was interested in her.

Thinking of this, Grace, despite her fear, stepped forward and gently said, "Mr. Neville, I'm Grace Lopez. I had my eye on a gift box in this suit store, but when I went to the restroom and came back, my classmate Agnes took it. I tried to tell her it was mine, but she wouldn't listen, and she even ignored Mr. Green! Look, she even hurt Mr. Green!"

Grace didn't mention that Ernest was her boyfriend; she was truly a schemer.

Leopold, seemingly ignoring her self-introduction, just glanced at Agnes, who was glaring at Grace, and then walked into the suit store, "Where's the gift box?"

A sales associate immediately brought the box over, handing it to him with both hands.

He took the box, opened it, and glanced inside. What would Agnes, a woman, want with a tie pin and cufflinks? Was she really here to cause trouble, as Grace said?
