Chapter 43
Feeling Agnes's rejection, he stopped, their foreheads touching, and panted slightly, "I can let you go, but you can't attend martial arts classes anymore. You can choose two classes such as yoga and dance, and I'll teach you the rest when I get back in the evening."
She bit her lower lip. Leopold was too overbearing! "Fine, I'll choose, but I have conditions too," she said.
He was about to say she had no choice, but recalling her earlier words, he took a deep breath and suppressed the strange emotions in his heart. "State your conditions."
"I'll only learn yoga, nothing else!" French and advanced mathematics were sheer torture for her.
Leopold released her and quickly reverted to his usual indifference, making her feel as if the person who had just harassed her wasn't him.
"Do you want to watch a movie together?" he asked.
Why was he suddenly being so nice?
Leopold directly suggested, "There's a 4D horror movie out recently. Interested?"
Just hearing "horror" made Agnes's face turn pale, let alone going to the theater. His threat was annoying.
They decided on yoga and dance, with two sessions per week in each, taught one-on-one by professional instructors. Plus, Leopold tutors in French and advanced mathematics.
On the way back to the classroom from the office, the more Agnes thought about it, the angrier she got. Why was Leopold always so easily bullied her? She was unwilling, very unwilling!
It was as if he had insight into all her vulnerabilities; maybe he had already investigated all her information! Truly the capability of a capitalist, he always used her weaknesses to threaten her!
Just then, her WhatsApp pinged with a friend request from someone whose nickname was a single capital 'L'.
Fuming, Agnes didn't think much of it, assuming it was a classmate, and accepted it.
Then, she opened Facebook and angrily posted a status: [Wolf in sheep's clothing.]
Bella saw the status and immediately called, "You got out? So soon? What's the meaning of your Facebook status? What did Mr. Neville do to you?"
Agnes looked up at the sky and, after a moment of silence, replied, "Bella, I'm really unlucky."
Meeting Leopold in this life was really unlucky; he treated her so poorly.
"Why do you say that? Did Mr. Neville really bully you?" However, upon closer listening, Bella's tone wasn't angry but excited.
Agnes tacitly agreed and didn't hide it, "Isn't Leopold a wolf in sheep's clothing?"
A scream came from the other end of the phone, and Agnes quickly moved the phone away from her ear, rolling her eyes.
"Agnes, Mr. Neville must be into you. What are you waiting for? Go for it!" Bella said.
Agnes was speechless, "Bella, are you really my friend? Why are you acting like a pimp? You want me to sleep with Mr. Neville?"
This traitor, falling to male charm!
"Of course, because you're my friend, I'm saying this. Good things shouldn't be wasted on outsiders. A man as perfect as Mr. Neville, becoming his lover, you'd be very lucky, Agnes!" Bella said.
Agnes fell silent.
Leopold was highly efficient. The next morning, the dance instructor Rebecca Ortiz appeared at the villa.
Since there were no classes scheduled before 10:30 AM, Rebecca arrived at 8 AM, and Agnes was still sound asleep in bed. Eden came up to wake her, informing her that the dance instructor was waiting in the temporary dance studio.
The moment she saw Rebecca, Agnes felt a surge of energy and even developed some interest in dance.
Rebecca, who was about Agnes's age, was not only stunningly beautiful with a perfect figure but also exuded a gentle elegance. Such a marvelous Rebecca, not to mention men; even a woman like Agnes couldn't help but be captivated.
With graceful steps that brought a touch of elegance, Rebecca slowly approached, a gentle smile forming at the corners of her mouth, "Hello, you must be Agnes!"
Agnes quickly nodded, her voice tinged with nervousness and anticipation, "Yes, ma'am, hello."
Their hands lightly clasped, and a mutual fondness quietly grew. The instructor introduced herself first, "Hi, I'm Rebecca Ortiz. I just finished college, but I've been dancing for nearly twenty years and teaching for the last four."
Under the influence of Rebecca, this outstanding dance instructor, even the tomboyish Agnes became more ladylike.
Thanks to her martial arts background, the basics of dance were easy for Agnes to grasp.
An hour and a half of class flew by, and Agnes felt both her body and mind had been stretched and relaxed.
After class, Rebecca changed her clothes, and Agnes saw her approaching the villa door. "Ms. Ortiz, get home safe!"
"Thank you. See you next class!" Rebecca said.
"Okay, bye-bye," Agnes said.
After Rebecca left, Agnes collapsed on the sofa, knowing she had to rush back to school later. Thinking about Leopold's class in the afternoon, she couldn't help but sigh. Facing Leopold always made her feel incredibly exhausted.
Legends had it that business magnates like Leopold valued every second, with each minute capable of generating immense wealth. Why would he waste his precious time teaching at their school? This puzzled her greatly.
