Chapter 119
Leopold nodded.
Agnes took a deep breath. Since Leopold was done, she should get up too!
However, just as she was about to move, Leopold stopped her from behind. "Don't move!"
"What's wrong?" Agnes asked.
"This position is perfect for making love," Leopold replied.
Agnes's face instantly turned red, and she struggled to get up from the mat. "Get away, you pervert!"
The unfinished business before dinner, now with her in such a seductive position, how could Leopold let her go easily?
Agnes's protests were in vain, and she was eventually completely "taken" by Leopold.
Before falling asleep, she drowsily warned Leopold, who was holding her, "Leopold, if you keep this up, I'm going to run away from home."
"Would you dare?" Leopold gently kissed Agnes's long hair, his voice tender, his eyes filled with infinite affection.
Agnes shook her head, then nodded, finally pouting with a hint of grievance. "You don't even care about me."
Then, she drifted into sleep.
The next day, Leopold went to work overtime, and Lydia, feeling embarrassed to stay longer, left first. Agnes accompanied Teresa shopping, and they had a great time together.
At noon, they had lunch on the fifth floor of Alioth, and Leopold managed to join them.
In the evening, while Leopold was still busy at the company, Teresa called Agnes to her room, and they talked by the bedside.
Teresa looked at Agnes with satisfaction. "I'm leaving early tomorrow morning. This trip has been both happy and reassuring. Leopold has always had a unique personality since he was a child, and I was worried he wouldn't find a partner. But he found a cheerful and lovely girl like you, truly a blessing. Agnes, please be patient with his quirks and personality. It may not always be fair to you, but I hope you and Leopold can be happy together. Marriage requires mutual tolerance and understanding, do you understand?"
Agnes nodded, understanding her intentions. "Mom, don't worry. He treats me very well, and I'm very happy with him. We will be fine." She also decided to treat him even better in the future.
"Good, I'm relieved to hear you say that. I've also told Leopold to take you home soon to meet the family. You are already an indispensable member of the Neville Family," Teresa said.
Agnes couldn't help but hug Teresa tightly.
Teresa was so wonderful! Being part of her family was truly a blessing! Even a biological mother might not love her daughter as much as she did.
Leopold returned home late at night, past midnight.
Because Teresa was there, Agnes felt embarrassed to sleep in, so she got up early to go for a run. After shopping and visiting friends with Teresa, she was exhausted and went to bed early.
Leopold walked to the bedside, kissed her as she slept, and then went to the bathroom.
When he came out of the bathroom again, Agnes had woken up at some point, wrapped in a blanket, looking at her phone. Seeing Leopold, she put down her phone, opened her arms, and smiled sweetly. "Leopold, hold me."
His exhaustion vanished instantly because of her smile and gesture.
He strode forward, embraced her, kissed her red lips, and only let go after a long time, his hoarse voice gently sounding in her ear. "Did I wake you?"
She nestled against his chest, shaking her head lightly. "No. Someone in the group sent a message and disturbed my sleep."
It turned out that Justin had a new girlfriend and was showing off their love in the group, waking her up with his continuous posts.
Hearing this, Leopold frowned slightly and reached for her phone, intending to find out who dared to disturb Agnes's good sleep.
Agnes, knowing that the culprit was Justin and fearing Leopold would cause trouble for him again, quickly grabbed his hand. With a playful tone, she said, "It's okay, a friend was just excited about something happy and sent a message in the middle of the night. Leopold, I'm so sleepy. Hold me while I fall asleep, okay?"
How could her thoughts escape his notice? He smiled slightly and changed his action from reaching for the phone to wrapping his arm around her waist. They lay down together.
On the big bed, her head rested on his shoulder, her whole body curled up in his arms.
"Busy even on a Sunday, you must be exhausted, right?" Agnes said softly, gentlely touching his face.
Leopold held her hand. "I'm not tired. You should go to sleep; you have a yoga class early tomorrow morning."
The yoga class was indeed early, and she needed to get up on time. If she didn't rest well, waking up would be difficult.
"Alright," she said, obediently closing her eyes. Within minutes, she was fast asleep in his arms.
The next morning, since Agnes had a class and Leopold had an important meeting, the task of taking Teresa to the airport naturally fell to Leroy.
As Agnes was saying goodbye to Teresa, Leroy's car arrived at the villa gate. Seeing the two ladies, he whistled loudly. "Good morning, the lovely Mrs. Teresa Neville! Good morning, beautiful Agnes!"
Agnes waved at him. "Good morning, Mr. Smith!"
Seeing the playful Leroy, Teresa's smile deepened. "Leroy, I'm leaving, and you just show up!"
Leroy hugged Teresa. "I heard you were in Lumina City, so I flew back from abroad overnight. Luckily, I made it in time to take you to the airport. If I didn't see you today, I'd be miserable for a month!"
Teresa was amused by his flattering words."Leroy, no wonder you have so many admirers with that charming personality of yours!"
Hearing this, Leroy pretended to be nervous, made a shushing gesture, and lowered his voice. "I already have a fiancée. Don't say that anymore, or if she hears, I’m in big trouble!"
Agnes dramatically rolled her eyes at the air, clearlyfed up with the Smith brothers' personalities. Though not born of the same mother, they shared the same character. Seeing Leroy was like seeing Justin, and vice versa. Both were equally flirtatious, equally frivolous in speech, and equally carefree.
Teresa looked into the car. "A fiancée? Have you brought her to meet me?"
Leroy shook his head. "Not this time. I just brought her back from abroad. Next time, or maybe I'll take her to Beacon City to see you."
"Okay."
Seeing that class time was approaching, Agnes said goodbye to them and got into Tyler's car. Leroy drove Teresa towards the airport.
In the afternoon, during her second class, Agnes received a call from Leopold. He was about to go on a sudden business trip to a neighboring city. Agnes was slightly taken aback. "Why so sudden?" She wasn't mentally prepared.
"Yes, it's a sudden situation, about a week. Be good at home," Leopold replied.
"Okay!" Thinking about not seeing him for a week, Agnes felt a bit empty inside.
Leopold suddenly remembered something. "Attend the dinner party for me tomorrow night, and let Kevin accompany you."
Agnes exclaimed in surprise, "Attend for you?"
"Yes, the dinner is a celebration event for the elders' company. I'll inform them of your identity in advance." She could keep the marriage hidden, he didn't mind, but everything had a time limit.
At most until she graduated, once she graduated, they would no longer hide their marriage.
Agnes asked uncertainly, "Can I do it? Aren't you afraid I'll mess it up?"
"You won't. Just hand the gift to the host and then find a quiet place to enjoy the food," Leopold said.
Agnes couldn't help but laugh. "You're so annoying! I'm not a foodie!"
He seemed in a good mood, even joking with her. "Really? Last time on the cruise, I saw someone enjoying the dessert area for half an hour straight!"
Agnes, ever the foodie, was able to eat non-stop for half an hour there.
Agnes thought for a moment. "That time on the cruise? Don't mention it, it's all Justin's fault!" He had abandoned her to find beauties as soon as they got on the cruise! "Leopold, you even threw me into the sea that time!"
Agnes started to bring up old grievances.
Leopold chuckled. "You should have told me who you were back then!" He was very grateful now, grateful that Agnes could swim. If she hadn't surfaced that day, he wouldn't have today's happiness and joy.
"You didn't even recognize your own wife and blames me?" Agnes complained.
