Chapter 147

Agnes tightly held Leopold's hand, listening to every word he said.

"AgnesGlow."

Hearing this name, Leopold gave her a light peck on the lips and wiped away the tears on her cheeks with his thumb. "This name carries the efforts of both of us."

AgnesGlow, what a beautiful name.

Agnes stared blankly at Leopold in front of her, raised her hand to touch his cheek, and suddenly pinched it hard. Leopold asked in confusion, "What's wrong?"

She asked him seriously, "Does it hurt?"

Leopold shook his head, "No, it doesn't hurt."

"It doesn't hurt, so I must be dreaming. This dream is so wonderful!"

Leopold sighed helplessly.

While she was still a bit dazed, Leopold took her to tour the room and gym specially designed for her.

There were already many fitness equipment, but more new devices were added to meet her needs. There were not only multiple treadmills with different functions but also some equipment suitable for women, everything one could wish for.

The last room was a dance and yoga room. In the room, besides a floor-to-ceiling window, the other three walls were almost all mirrors, extending from the floor to the ceiling. Yoga ropes, mats, and several yoga balls were prepared in the corner, with all the professional equipment one could need.

Seeing this high-end setup, even a fitness novice would fall in love with exercising here.

In the mirror, Leopold embraced the surprised Agnes, "Hang in there a bit longer. When you come back from abroad, this will be our forever home, okay?"

Our forever home.

Looking through the floor-to-ceiling window at the lawn outside, she seemed to see Leopold and her, along with their future children, happily playing in the sunshine.

Standing at the entrance of the three-story villa, Leopold registered her fingerprint, and she realized that this was where they would live. The villa they toured earlier was remodeled for her hobbies. He chose that villa because he knew she could swim, and it had a large swimming pool.

As the villa door opened, a shadow suddenly rushed out. "Watch out!" Agnes was so startled that she almost reflexively kicked out. Fortunately, Leopold reacted faster and grabbed the thing, pulling it aside.

Seeing what was pulled over, Agnes looked helpless.

"Woof woof woof."

It turned out to be a dog!

Leopold pointed to the white dog lying on the side and laughed, "An Eskimo dog, good at long-distance running, perfect for you. Let's see if you walk it or it walks you."

"Of course, I walk it! But why does this silly dog look so much like a Samoyed? Are you sure you weren't tricked?" Agnes said defiantly.

"Silly dog?"

"Yeah, it just rushed over as soon as the door opened, isn't that silly?"

Leopold couldn't help but laugh, "Indeed silly, so why don't you name it?"

"Huh? Isn't this the dog you used to have?" This dog seemed very familiar with Leopold and was very obedient.

"No, it was just delivered a few days before you went to Willow Creek. I've only seen it once."

"Oh, why did you think of getting a dog?" Agnes tentatively squatted down to pet the snow-white dog because it was really cute.

The dog seemed to understand her intention and immediately stood up, took a few steps back, and glared at her.

Agnes pouted, "Not cute at all!"

The dog, however, was very clever and barked at her fiercely.

Leopold smiled faintly, "When I'm not around, let it keep you company. You need to train and discipline it strictly, then it will listen to you!"

"It's really not cute!"

Leopold patted her head, "It needs a lot of exercise every day, so you should also work on your stamina."

Agnes glared at him, "That's the main point, isn't it?" Every time she gave in, she would hear him complain about her lack of stamina.

Leopold's eyes twinkled with amusement, "Smart!"

"Hmph." Agnes snorted coldly, feeling helpless. Clearly, it was Leopold who had extraordinary stamina, yet he blamed her for not keeping up.

But suddenly, she said, "I've decided, let's call it Fluffy!"

Leopold was speechless and could only respond, "As long as it makes you happy."

From then on, Agnes had a dog named Fluffy.

In the afternoon, after Leopold went to the company, Agnes continued to explore their home alone upstairs.

She opened the bedroom door and found the table and floor filled with shopping bags. Opening one, she found various cosmetics. Some she recognized from her last trip to Azure Haven, while others she didn't, though they were beautifully packaged. Unable to resist, she called Leopold and was stunned by the truth.

Those skincare products were compensations from Pauline brought by Lydia, some bought by Teresa, and some new brand products sent by Kevin at Leopold's request.

On the other end of the phone, he said, "I heard women like to unpack and organize cosmetics, so I had them all sent over. There's a cabinet next to the vanity where you can put them. If it doesn't fit, let me know, and I'll get a bigger one."

This was truly a queen's life!

Agnes glanced at the so-called cabinet, a specially customized solid wood and glass cabinet with small compartments on the top and a regular cabinet below. She didn't unpack everything, just put the shopping bags inside.

She couldn't possibly use all these things, so it was best not to open them and find a way to give them away later.

After a busy while, Agnes lay on the bed to rest for a bit.

When she woke up, it was already dark. Leopold hadn't returned yet. With the New Year approaching, the company was busy, so she would be dining alone tonight.

Coming downstairs, she found out that Leopold had hired a chef and an assistant to cook for her. The dining table was set with several steaming dishes covered with lids, emitting a delicious aroma.
