Chapter 191 Bloody Battle, Outstanding Performance by the Newcomer!

Alexander slipped out the small west gate, pausing when he heard footsteps in the courtyard. "Are there still damn bandits around?" he muttered suspiciously.

Outside, Rodolfo's car had already sped off, but two masked bandits remained, approaching with guns drawn.

"You shoot first," one of the masked men whispered into his earpiece.

In the courtyard, a man with a submachine gun stepped forward, took cover behind a building, and opened fire in Alexander's direction.

Bullets sprayed, riddling the wall with holes.

Alexander ducked, pushing Loren's head down. "There are people outside too! Shoot into the courtyard, or we're trapped!"

Elbert stood up, eyes fierce, and fired towards the courtyard's corner.

Alexander pulled Loren up, pressed him against the wall, fired at a 45-degree angle towards the armed man, and then rushed into the courtyard.

Loren, bending over and shaking, shouted into his intercom, "Request backup! Suspects are shooting at us!"

"Where are you? Be clear."

"Don't panic. Be clear."

John and Xavier's voices crackled through the intercom.

At the neighborhood entrance, just as Alexander was about to turn the corner, bullets from the submachine gun swept over. He shoved Loren aside and was about to return fire when Elbert's voice came from behind, "Someone's coming in from outside!"

Caught in the middle, Alexander spun around to see two men entering, guns aimed at him.

Alexander fired first, making the two men dodge.

At the same time, the armed man with the submachine gun moved to a diagonal position, raising his gun and locking eyes with Loren.

Without thinking, the usually timid Loren, seeing the gun aimed at Alexander, pulled him aside.

The gun fired, smoke rising from Loren's chest, blood spurting from his arm as he yanked Alexander away.

Alexander paused at the gunfire, quickly turned, grabbed Loren's arm with his left hand, and retreated several steps, using his gun to push open the iron gate Rodolfo had just entered.

As the door opened, Alexander shoved Loren inside, but the armed man adjusted his aim and fired again.

Gunshots rang out, hitting Alexander in the back and thigh. Stumbling, he grabbed the approaching Elbert and quickly ducked into the building.

In the dimly lit building, the three paused briefly before Alexander urgently said, "These guys aren't just suspects. They're after me."

As soon as he finished speaking, footsteps sounded outside the door.

Alexander quickly reloaded his gun, his face pale, and shouted at Loren, "Call John over, hurry!"

Loren, so nervous he didn't realize he had been shot, shakily picked up the intercom and shouted, "Requesting backup at the west gate! John, get over here!"

Instead of John's response, the intercom played a melodious tune, followed by a woman's soft voice, "Are you troubled by marital issues? Do you want to regain your manhood? Call our hotline now for expert consultation and medication..."

"Fuck, how did it get jammed?!" Loren cursed, yanking out his waist intercom to change the frequency.

Alexander shoved Loren. "It's not jammed, it's been switched. Go call John, hurry."

"Let's run together, let's..." Loren hesitated.

"Without someone to protect us, no one can leave. Go now," Elbert pushed Loren hard. "Go through the room the bandits just left, hurry."

Loren didn't hesitate this time and bolted. Before he reached the halfway platform on the first floor, the three masked bandits outside aimed their guns at the iron gate.

A burst of rapid gunfire pierced the thin iron sheet, bullets spraying into the building. Alexander and Elbert immediately dodged to the sides.

The iron gate suddenly swung open, and a reckless bandit rushed in, aiming his gun directly at Alexander.

Alexander blocked the bandit with his arm and raised his right arm to fire.

At less than half a foot apart, both fired at each other, their bulletproof vests barely protecting them as they staggered back.

Alexander felt intense pain in his chest, gritted his teeth, and kicked the bandit.

The masked bandit stumbled back three steps.

At that moment, Elbert, eyes red, grabbed the bandit's neck from behind and yanked him back.

The bandit quickly turned halfway in Elbert's grasp, grabbing his gun with his left hand and shouting, "There are only two inside."

Hearing this, the accomplices outside entered with guns.

Alexander, leaning against the wall, fired, temporarily driving the two men back.

Elbert, eyes red, bit the bandit's ear, jerking his head back.

The bandit trembled in pain, his grip on Elbert's left hand loosening.

"Fuck, if you don't kill me, I'll kill you!"

Elbert roared, pressing his gun to the bandit's side and pulling the trigger.

Three shots fired, bullets piercing the bandit's bulletproof vest straps, causing him to freeze and collapse to his knees.

Without blinking, Elbert shot the bandit in the head.

Alexander looked at the newcomer, both stunned and amazed.

The contrast between him and Loren was stark, not only in their calmness in the face of danger but also in their ruthlessness.

Elbert took a couple of breaths and immediately retreated.

The iron gate opened again, and a submachine gun poked in.

Elbert grabbed the barrel and shouted hysterically, "Alexander, if we don't fight, we'll die."

Alexander snapped back to reality, stepped forward, and grabbed the masked man's collar, and together they pulled him inside.

The man, holding the submachine gun, tried to aim at Elbert's head, pulling the trigger.

Elbert dodged, but the hot barrel burned his hand.

Alexander kneed the bandit in the waist.

Elbert fell back, pulling the gun down. "Fuck, if I keep you, I'll be team leader in three months."

With a roar, the masked man stumbled as Elbert pulled him down.

Alexander, hiding behind the iron gate, shouted, "If you come in, I'll kill him."

The last remaining bandit outside hesitated, fearfully stepping back two steps.
