Chapter 202 Obtaining Important Clues

In the medical room of the third prison.

A doctor pressed on the young gun dealer's thigh, shocked at his injury. "What the hell happened? It's torn and turned inside out."

"I got jumped in the bathroom. They forced me," the young gun dealer yelled.

A supervising officer nearby, hands behind his back, sternly asked, "What really happened? No lies."

The young gun dealer hesitated, then said, "I was shoveling snow, got into a fight, and when I climbed the backyard fence, I accidentally sat on a spike."

"How many times have I told you to keep order while shoveling snow? Now look at you. Be more careful next time," the officer scolded.

The young gun dealer bit his lip, staying silent.

The doctor examined the injury. "The fence didn't move, and you sat on it? That's quite precise. Did you aim for it?"

"Just get to business." the officer snapped.

The doctor chuckled. "Alright, I'll take care of it."

Half an hour later:

Andrew walked into the infirmary, looking at the young gun dealer. "Couldn't last even a day?"

The young gun dealer turned, furious. "You're such a jerk."

"Seriously?" Andrew smiled, placing two boxes of face cream on the bedside table. "If I were, would I bring you this? Use it tonight. I got these for $20 from a female colleague. Consider it a favor."

The young gun dealer stayed silent.

Andrew pulled up a chair, crossing his legs. "Listen, just because you've been out in the world doesn't mean you know everything. Plenty of people here were doing better than you outside, but they still got sentenced. They still follow orders. Can you really afford to act tough? I could easily get a bunch of inmates to deal with you."

The young gun dealer lay there, blinking rapidly.

"Sure, Adam might give you some money to keep quiet. But is it worth doing ten or twenty years for fifty or eighty thousand dollars?" Andrew took a sip of water. "In a few years, who knows what the world will be like? If Adam goes down, what will you do when you get out? Take my advice, you're just a follower. Don't take on responsibilities that aren't yours. When your case goes to court, who knows if Adam will even remember you?"

The young gun dealer was silent for a while, then asked, "If I talk, won't Adam have someone mess with me in here?"

"You're overestimating him. Adam's in deep trouble. He won't make it through this. If he could handle things, would the person who killed his son still be free? Would we dare search his warehouse so easily? He's got too many problems to worry about you," Andrew replied.

"But what if he does come after me?"

"I'll give you a new name and get you transferred to another prison where he can't find you," Andrew said seriously. "I may not have many virtues, but I keep my word. If I say I can protect you, I will. If I tell you to make your anus bloom, it will definitely bloom."

"Alright, I'll talk," the young gun dealer finally said. "But I need to be transferred tonight. I can't stay here. Everyone knows."

Andrew sighed, "If you'd said that earlier, this wouldn't have happened. Use some of that face cream later. It's soothing."

In a downtown restaurant, a bald middle-aged man was having dinner with friends.

Enrique pulled Rodolfo out of the bathroom and asked quietly, "Is it him?"

Rodolfo glanced at the man, studied him for a few seconds, and nodded.

"Let's go," Enrique said, leading Rodolfo out of the restaurant.

A few minutes later, in the car.

William, arms crossed, asked Rodolfo, "Is it him?"

"Yes," Rodolfo confirmed. "He brought us into Pine City."

William thought for a moment, then told the driver, "Alright, let's head back."

The two cars drove through the city streets and soon returned to the basement on Main Street.

After Rodolfo was locked back in his room, William sat on the first-floor sofa and dialed Adam's number. "Hello, Mr. Wilde?"

"Yes, go ahead."

"I took Rodolfo to identify someone," William said quietly. "The person who brought them into Pine City is Leon Edwards from the riot squad."

Adam pondered for a moment. "So if Joe hasn't left Pine City yet, Leon might be hiding him."

"Yes," William nodded.

"What do you think we should do?" Adam asked.

"I think we shouldn't lay hands on Leon for now," William replied. "If we arrest him and he doesn't confess immediately, Joe might get alerted."

"Right," Adam agreed.

"We should just keep an eye on him. If Joe is hiding with Leon, they'll definitely meet."

"Alright, do as you said," Adam instructed. "When we find Joe this time, we can't let him escape again."

"I understand."

"Thank you, William."

"No problem."

"Alright, that's it."

After ending the call, William sat on the sofa, muttering to himself, "Joe won't be able to hide for long."

On the road to the second prison in Pine City.

Andrew sat in the police transport vehicle, looking at the young gun dealer. "Sit properly."

"Man, I really can't sit properly," the young gun dealer squatted beside the seat, looking pained. "I feel like my anus is leaking. Even squatting, I can feel the cold air going in."

"If it doesn't work, I can get you a wine cork to plug it," Andrew replied mischievously.

"Can you speak like a human being?"

Andrew laughed and called out, "Get him a couple of cushions so he can lie down. Inform the second prison to let him stay in the infirmary tonight."

"Got it," Xavier replied from the front seat.

"Alright, go ahead." Andrew handed the young man an e-cigarette.

The young man took a few puffs, thought for a while, and said, "You better ask the questions."

"Where does the Wilde family get their guns?" Andrew asked directly.

The young man blinked and replied, "The Wilde family's business is managed by three people. Zephyr handles shipments and customer contacts; Hubert takes care of high-level connections and accounting, and procurement is done by Adam's lover, Jessica Miller. She's helped Adam a lot."

"Go on," Andrew nodded.

"The supplier Jessica contacts is named Kyle Cox. If you catch him and make him confess, Adam will definitely go down," the young man said definitively.

Riverside District.

Joe walked quickly down the street, looking at his phone. "Do it."
