Chapter 72 I Want to Drink with You All Night
Coco looked at the two of them speechlessly. "Can you two get lost?"
"Just tell us what you need." Alexander grinned.
"I want some skincare products. I can't buy any here, and they're too expensive in Zone 7. Can you get someone to bring some from Stardust City after you go back? It's cheaper there." Coco's pretty face lit up with a bright smile again.
"Sure, give me a list tomorrow, and I'll have someone buy them for you," Alexander agreed immediately, "I'll give you my account info later, and just transfer the money."
"Do I still need to pay?" Coco asked with big, pretty eyes.
Alexander was taken aback. "Your father holds a high position. Don't you have to pay for cosmetics?"
Coco spread her small hands. "Now that I did such a big favor for you guys, shouldn't you give me a kickback? You don't know the rules."
Alexander looked at her speechlessly. "You're a boss too. Isn't this a bit..."
"No matter how much of a boss I am, I'm still a woman. Women are very frugal, and you'll understand eventually."
"That's enough. If it's too expensive, I can't afford it," Alexander said, clutching his crotch as he ran out, afraid Coco would ask for more.
After everyone left, Coco took out her own sheet from her luggage, spread it on the cold bed, and sat down.
A few seconds later, Coco dialed her father's number and said, "Hey, Dad!"
"How did it go?" a kind voice asked.
"Everything's settled. For the second shipment, they'll pay upfront. Alexander pushed the price down, and I agreed to a 10% reduction, but they have to order at least 200,000 BTC' worth every month."
"That's better than I expected." Her father nodded in satisfaction. "Are you back?"
"No, I'm staying here tonight." Coco shook her head.
"The environment there is terrible. Why not come back?"
"I've stayed in worse places. Don't worry. I'll come back tomorrow," Coco said with a smile. "Tell my brother to hurry up with the second batch."
"Okay, I'll push him."
"I'm going to wash up and sleep."
"Alright, get some rest. Take care of yourself, and don't overwork," her father said lovingly.
In the adjacent room.
Andrew, reeking of alcohol, asked, "There's only one bed. How do we sleep?"
"Andrew, can you stop complaining?" Eric responded speechlessly, "In this kind of place, having a place to sleep is good enough. We can squeeze together."
"I don't like squeezing," Andrew said, taking a puff from his e-cigarette.
Alexander haphazardly took off his clothes and flopped onto the bed, cursing, "You are being demeaning."
"Forget it. I'm not squeezing with you guys, I'll find somewhere else," Andrew said, standing up, emboldened by the alcohol.
"Where are you going?" Eric asked curiously, "Where can you find another place?"
"Didn't you notice? Coco seems a bit tipsy and lonely. I'll get some more drinks and cheer her up." Andrew's inner desire was already hard to contain.
"Don't go," Alexander said from the bed, "Didn't you say you like Emily?"
"He likes everyone," Eric commented speechlessly.
"Just go to sleep," Andrew said, clutching his crotch as he left.
Lying in bed, Eric frowned. "That idiot better not piss Coco off."
"Andrew is discerning and composed. Don't worry," Alexander turned over and put his hand on Eric's stomach, "Eric, move over a bit, I'm cold."
"Get lost." Eric pushed Alexander away. "What's wrong with you? I'm injured, you know."
Half an hour later.
The lights in the dormitory dimmed, and most of the people in the rooms were asleep.
Andrew, carrying some snacks and drinks, knocked lightly on Coco's door. "Are you asleep?"
A moment later, Coco, with a pink towel wrapped around her head and wearing thick pajamas, opened the door and looked at Andrew blankly. "What do you want?"
"I didn't drink enough, and I think there might be some flaws in our cooperation," Andrew said, looking Coco up and down. "Can we talk more?"
Coco paused, looked at Andrew's face, and suddenly smiled. "Sure, come in."
Andrew's heart melted at her words, and he quickly stepped inside, closing the door with his butt. "Coco, let me tell you, from the moment I saw you, I thought you were more straightforward than any man and really good at business."
"Sit down. I'm going to the bathroom to sort something out," Coco said, closing the door.
"Okay, okay." Andrew nodded repeatedly.
Coco walked to the bathroom in her slippers, then turned back and asked, "It's pretty cold, and you've been in my warehouse for days. Do you want to take a hot shower?"
Andrew was stunned, his heart racing.
"Why are you looking at me? Do you want to shower?" Coco asked with a smile.
"Is that okay?" Andrew stood up and quickly took off his jacket.
"We're all business people. It's fine. Go ahead, and we'll have a good drink afterward," Coco said, her face slightly flushed. "Actually, I admire you."
"Admire me for what?" Andrew couldn't understand.
"You're brave. You didn't panic at all back there," Coco said softly, "Over the years, I've met many people through business, but you're one of a kind."
Andrew was thrilled, taking off his sweater and rushing into the bathroom. "Coco, wait a bit, and I'll tell you all about my past."
Coco pouted and sat on the old sofa, reading a book.
Twenty minutes later.
Hearing no more water sounds, Coco called out from the sofa, "Andrew, use the big towel hanging on the rope. Don't bring your clothes out. They're filthy."
Andrew, hearing this, pulled down the big towel and sighed. "This is too good of an opportunity. If I don't seize it, I'm not Andrew."
A few minutes later, Andrew came out with the towel around his waist and a jacket over his shoulders, only to find Coco standing by the door, fiddling with it.
"What's wrong?" Andrew asked, steaming.
"The door won't lock, it keeps opening with the wind."
"Let me help."
"No need. Just hold it from outside while I adjust the lock," Coco said, brushing her hair aside. "Stand outside and hold it."
"Okay," Andrew rushed out, holding the door.
Coco fiddled with the lock, then smiled. "It should be fine now. Step back, and let me see if it closes properly."
"It's too cold. The door must have frozen. It's fine. Close it, and I'll check," Andrew said, nodding.
With that, Coco smiled at Andrew and pulled the door shut.
Andrew, full of enthusiasm, pulled on the handle. "It's locked and solid. It's fixed."
However, there was no response from inside.
Andrew, shivering in the cold, laughed. "Open up. It's freezing out here, let me in."
Still no response.
"Open the door!" Andrew exclaimed, knocking on the door in surprise.
Inside, Coco was sprawled on the bed, shaking with laughter. "You're not showing me much respect. I told you to cool off."
Andrew, mouth agape, let the cold wind blow into his belly as he shouted, "It's windy out here speak up, I can't hear you."
Coco laughed again and casually turned off the light.
After knocking on the door for a good two to three minutes, Andrew finally realized he had been tricked. He shouted,, "Coco, this is too much. If you don't want to drink, at least give me my clothes. How am I supposed to go back? It's freezing out here."
Coco ignored him.
"Women are the cruelest," Andrew muttered, looking around.
A strong wind blew, and Andrew shivered, clutching his shoulders. But as he moved, the towel around his waist fell off.
Feeling the cold wind, Andrew's face turned pale as he bent to pick up the towel.
The small door nearby opened, and the dorm owner, holding a flashlight, turned to the naked Andrew, stunned.
Andrew was also stunned.
The owner, after a long pause, asked, "What are you doing?"
"Stop making noise, do you have any clothes?" Andrew asked, picking up the towel.
Then, Andrewr, blushing, said, "Be serious!"
