Chapter 86 Chloe Hall
"Fuck, Luke is really disgusting!"
After eavesdropping outside the door for a while, Alexander cursed with a flushed face, thinking to himself that if he didn't go in now, Luke might end up having sex with someone inside.
Alexander yanked the door and shouted, "Open the door."
"Who is it?" Luke shouted back.
"Can't you hear that? Open the door now," Alexander yelled impatiently.
After about a minute, Luke, with a flushed face, opened the door. "Alexander, you're back."
"Get out of the way." Alexander pushed Luke's round head aside, stepped into the room, and saw a girl sitting on the bed, blinking her big eyes at him.
"Chloe, this is my brother, Alexander ," Luke introduced.
Chloe Hall stood up. "Hello, Alexander."
"Whose family are you from?" Alexander asked, puzzled.
"She's Penelope Green's daughter. We get along pretty well," Luke quickly explained.
Alexander kicked him. "I can see that."
"Alexander, I'm going home now." Chloe, who looked about the same age as Luke, felt a bit shy seeing Alexander and quickly ran out.
"Chloe, I'll help you with work tomorrow," Luke shouted reluctantly from the doorway.
Alexander kicked Luke in the waist, making him stagger, and scolded, "You have quite the social life, huh? I haven't even found a wife yet, and you're already bringing someone home."
Luke scratched his head and smiled. "I just met her not long ago."
"Then you already brought her home?"
"She was helping me with some work." Luke pointed inside the room. "Look how clean we made the place."
Alexander turned his head and looked around. The room was indeed much cleaner and tidier than before. The cabinets and floor were spotless, and even Alexander's dirty clothes and bed sheets had been washed. Luke had somehow managed to get a single bed and placed it against the inner wall.
"Did Chloe clean this?" Alexander asked, frowning.
"I did the heavy lifting, and she helped. We did it together." Since Luke's health had improved, he still acted like a rascal but was quite diligent. Whenever Alexander wasn't home, he would do whatever chores he could, like shoveling snow at the door or cleaning the outdoor toilet.
Alexander closed the door and looked at Luke, feeling a bit speechless. "How did you meet Chloe?"
"Emily's place is the only one in the yard with an indoor bathroom. Our outdoor toilet was almost overflowing, so I cleaned it up and met Chloe by chance." Luke grinned. "Chloe's mom runs a beef shop called Penelope's, with six or seven women working there. When they rest during the day, Chloe does some work. We kept running into each other and got to know each other."
"Even if you got to know her, you shouldn't have brought her home!" Alexander scolded, "You're worse than Andrew!"
"I didn't mean anything by it. We were just chatting." Luke scratched his crotch.
Alexander sternly lectured, "You're still young. I'm telling you, control yourself. She's our neighbor. If you cause any trouble, I'll have to knock some sense into you."
"I know. I won't." Luke smiled.
"Let's eat."
Alexander took the dinner he had packed from work and walked to the table. Luke eagerly opened the food, set it up, poured Alexander a glass of warm water, and then squatted on a chair near the window, gobbling down his food.
"Why are you eating over there? Come over here!" Alexander called out.
"It's fine. I'm good here." Luke shook his head, his mouth greasy.
When Luke was first rescued, his clothes were old, his hair long, and he looked dirty. But now, with a shaved head and fitting clothes, he looked quite handsome. He had great skin, bright eyes full of cleverness, and long eyelashes like a girl's, giving him a somewhat charming look. Although only 15, he was already nearly 5 feet 8 inches tall, but not as sturdy as Alexander had expected. He had a large frame but little muscle.
As Alexander ate, he couldn't help but observe Luke. He noticed that although Luke appeared carefree, he was very cautious around him.
For example, Luke was always careful when taking food. He chewed loudly but would immediately quite down when he realized it. When Alexander went to bed, Luke would turn off the lights and make no noise, regardless of how tired he was.
The more Luke acted this way, the more uncomfortable Alexander felt. Yes, he saw himself in Luke again.
When the old man in the planning area first adopted him, Alexander's mindset, posture, and behavior were just like Luke's now.
Pretending to be strong but afraid of being abandoned; living under someone else's roof, being cautious, even considering when to breathe.
Alexander looked at him sideways and suddenly said, "Don't squat there to eat. Come to the table."
Luke was stunned.
"Let's chat for a bit." Alexander smiled.
"Chat about what?"
"Have you ever had sex?" Alexander asked playfully.
Luke was taken aback and blushed. "Of course, I did when I was 13."
Alexander was surprised and immediately waved him over. "Come on, tell me the details. You got many stories."
Luke walked over, feeling a bit shy.
"Come on, tell me your story," Alexander said with a grin. "We're both men, don't be so reserved. If I let you stay here, you don't have to be so cautious."
"I'm not," Luke argued, "I'm not reserved with anyone."
"Don't change the subject. Tell me about your past." Alexander laughed.
In the Black Street District, on a certain street.
Chris sat in the car, turned to a young man, and said, "Keep an eye on him. Let me know he has not been present at the warehouse on which day? Then you call me."
