Logan's POV
"Do you mean it?" She asked staring at the invitation, or maybe not but I know her eyes were focused on that. I nodded to her, I knew I had invited her before, maybe she had forgotten, her excitement was different from the first time, I did.
Maybe, she missed partying, I could bring her to more parties.
"Thank you, I am so excited, I got my job back," she said jumping up, "you don't know how it feels not to have a job for the past weeks,"
"Oh..." I hummed, it was the job she was excited about not the invitation. I run my hand on my nape, "I'm sorry, it's just me being a hormones teenage boy." She smirked closing the gap between us.
"Thank you, you don't know how happy you made me," she said pecking my lips.
"Hmm..." I lick my lips, "Maybe, I should fire you every day and take you back, so I could be greeted like this all the time." She hit my shoulder.
"You are mean," she said wanting to pull from me, but my grip on her was strong stopping her from pulling from me. "Hey let me go," she wanted to wriggle her way from me.
"Relax, you should stay like this, I missed your scent,"
"Really?" She asked, and I nodded, I wasn't lying when I said I missed her scent, I don't know how she does it but her scent always calms my wolf, I inhaled her scent, I missed this, her scent, and her blood has a way of doing things to me and my wolf.
I didn't realize that I would wake up from my unconsciousness so fast, having those bruises and my wolf badly hurt, he wasn't healing me fast, I thought I would be knocked out for days, and I didn't want Akira to panic, so I let out an alpha command on my beta, forcing him to send Akira way since I was at the verge of passing out, he was stubborn but in the end, he gave in.
My beta will always disagree with me but always ends up accepting everything I say, when I woke up I saw him pinning Riley to the wall, he was furious.
Meredith never gets mad, I knew Riley must have pushed him to the extreme, for him to act that way, I thought it was about me only to find out that he was mad because of a human girl, Akira's friend, I don't want to deliberate on what's on my mind but I knew it's going to be a disaster if what's on my mind is what was happening.
Then we are doom, the Alpha and the Beta's doom. It would be another broken heart. Another pain in our heart, because I know he is going to end up like me, not knowing how to forget the one thing that makes me happy, "Hey what are you thinking?" Akira's voice pulled me from my thoughts. I move my gaze to her, cupping her face.
"Thinking of how badly I want to lock you in my room all morning and eat you up," I said flicking my tongue across my lips.
"You this pervert," she free herself from me, but this time I didn't stop her.
"C'mon, don't be a killjoy, having you in my role-play, isn't all bad."
"Role play? If I may ask what's that role play of yours? Oh, sex role play? Smooth move but not working on me, you should sit let's eat before we clear this?" My eyes moved to the kitchen it was a mess.
"Can I..."
"No you can't, we are doing it alone," I smirked, Akira already knew what I wanted to say, it didn't take long before, Akira and I finished having our breakfast or should I say lunch because it was almost noon when we finished eating. We have the place tidy up. "You haven't said anything about the invitation, aren't you coming with me?" I wanted to know her answer, so she grabbed the invitation and looked at it, I thought all this time, she had looked at it not knowing she didn't.
"The Shan group?" She asked and I looked at her.
"Why? Is there an issue?"
"No, the invitation, I think I have one already." I look at her, shocked.

Amelia's POV
He looked at me all surprised seeing me in his office with the invitation of the Shan Group company lying on his desk.
The company's affairs had never been my priority, I didn't get involved with the company's activities, I just focused on my career, even though I knew that is what my aunty wanted, for me to focus on my career and forget everything about the company. Grandpa had always wanted me to work at the company when I returned, seventeen years ago but I refused his proposal, I told him, I wanted to be an artist and a mother to Roe, and he didn't argue with me unlike before, that he would force me to do his bidding.
One of the reasons, I fall in love with that asshole, was because he was the only male that understand me and let me do whatever I wanted maybe because he had hidden motives.
"CEO Casper, I know you are a very busy man but I would like for you to attend the company's anniversary with your girlfriend," I didn't forget to add that part.
It was because of the female that father said, he saw, that had made me come here and I was getting curious.
Although, I didn't accept that I had a child when Grandpa asked. I knew I had to look for my daughter, if the girl who looked like me was with Casper then I should make sure he came to the ball with the girl.
"Girlfriend?" He asked looking confused.
"Yeah, my nephew said..." I paused, I wanted to blurt out rubbish, but I just sealed my lips.
"I don't have a girlfriend,"
"Oh..." I parted my lips and shut them immediately.
"It's fine, you don't have to beat yourself, I will come with my date if I'm less busy," he said shaking hands with me.
"I will be expecting you with the girl," he smirked standing from his chair and walking me to the door.
"Wait a minute, I think you are mistaking Akira for my girlfriend."
"Akira? Is that her name?" I asked having that stoic expression, I can't give out myself.
"Yeah, thinking about it, she looks like you,"
"Me?" I pointed to myself.
"Yeah, she does look like you, if I didn't know her sister from college, I would have said she is part of your family."
"She had a sister?"
"Yeah, her Mom, and sister, I think she got just two of them," he said
"What about her dad?"
