Logan's POV
"Why?" She asked with that sweet little lips of hers, fuck, I want to kiss her, I tittered my head side by side, I need to control myself. I don't know what she did to me but the truth is, my body longs for her.
"Wish you could go but this is working hours and you have work to finish here." She looks at me pulling the phone slightly from her ear.
"Oh..." She said moving her phone back to her ear, "I am sorry, I can't go..."
"I am not saying now, later." I pulled the phone in anger from her ear.
"Shut the fuck off Casper, didn't you hear she has work to do and what's up with you inviting my girl out, are you trying to piss me off again?"
"Wolfie, what the heck are you doing?" Akira groaned as she tried to get her phone from me, I grabbed her hand halfway, stopping her from reaching me. "Give me back..."
"Stay the fuck away from her, you wouldn't like me," I growl at Casper before pressing the end button then I throw her phone back to her.
"Why did you just do that? How dare you..."
"Shut the fuck up, if you don't want me doing that for you." I growl, and she flinched, I shut my eyes, 'Logan... What the fuck are you doing?' I called myself to orders. I couldn't control it, I am fucking getting too possessive, oh shit my wolf is an asshole, "sorry..." I murmured, taking a deep breath, she looked at me confused, "You should meet Meredith, he had a file for you, the clients are requesting it urgently, so you should read, correct, and submit it at the end of today..."
"Are you doing this so I don't..."
I interrupted her, "Stop being dramatic, you are here to work but if you are tired, you should as well..."
"I will do it," she screamed interrupting me, "scarecrow..." She said standing from her desk, "What did you just call me?" I asked pulling her hand, her eyes snapped to me, goddess they were beautiful and she turned me on...
"I want to..." I pinned my lips stopping the last words that were about to erupt my throat.
"What now?"
"Forget about it," I said distancing myself from her.
"Weirdo..." she said before walking out of the office leaving me behind.
"Fuck..." I curse staring at my pant, my little guy is already swollen, “Who the fuck is this female?" I sniffed the air.
'She is ours to claim.' my wolf said.
'You are nuts. She is a fucking human, a liability.' I growl at him.
'A liability yet you want to fuck her.'
'damn...' I rolled my eyes at my wolf as I walked towards my section and the door of my office pulled up, my head snapped to Meredith.
"What is this smell I perceive, are you fucking aroused this early again?" I glared at him.
"What the heck are you saying?"
"The scent of your arousal had filled the room?" It's then that I sniffed the air, Meredith is right.
"Bloody fuck..." I curse rushing to my drawer to get air freshener so I could hide the smell of my arousal. Meredith's laughter pulled me from my actions. "What's funny?" I asked then he pointed to my pants, my erection was still obvious, I pinned my lips together before I turned my back at him.
"It's Akira right?" I shrugged my shoulder. "Stop telling lies, that human girl is she your mate?"
"Hell no..." I deny it without battering my eyes.
"Then you want her? She doesn't have to be your mate for you to want her if you love her..."
"Meredith shut up for once, what's up with you and love?" I scoffed.
"It's not bad to fall in love."
"Love is a luxury and waste of time, people who fall in love have the world time at their mercy. I do not have that time and never believe in love, not even capable of loving someone."
"I don't..."
"Enough Meredith, why are you here?"
"Akira, she said, you asked her to come to me so I could give her a file to work on?" I riffled my hair.
"Yes, give her the files involving the mega shopping production." Meredith's mouths drop.
"Logan that file is complicated and it's as so many figures to balance she might not be able to finish it in a week."
"Good, let her work on it, at least when she is working she won't have the luxury of gallivanting with that stupid Casper and going to concerts with him." I blurted out without filtering my words, Meredith wanted to laugh but he held his breath. "what now?"
"Are you jealous that Casper is coming closer to her?" I shrugged and looked at him in irritation.
"No, I am only protecting her, Casper is a wolf."
"And what are you? Human?" I glared at Meredith. "Sorry, Human..." He said sarcastically.
"Whatever? And you should contact our technical team, and tell them that we need to install thunder resistance and soundproofing in all our properties including the penthouse."
"Why?"
"Don't you get it, Akira is..." I paused, throwing my head behind me, I am going crazy, this woman will be the end of me. Meredith smile.
"Noted sir Logan, or should I say, lover boy?" I glared at him. I grabbed a file on the table aiming at him but before I could hit it, he already ran out.
I fall my head on my palm, 'Am I falling in love with the human girl? I don't think so, I guess is this stupid wolf of mine.'
'Are you calling me stupid?' he whimpered in my head, and I sighed.
'I didn't say so but please turn the attraction down a bit, you are killing and your actions are making me act stupid...'
'She is our mate?' I tittered this time, like a maniac. 'what's funny?'
'You Thunder, you are very funny, human girl, our mate? Oh goddess, how badly did I wrong you that you have to give me multiple curses, I thought my great-grandfather was your direct descendant. Yet you curse me so badly.' I murmured, I couldn't even tell who I was talking to if it was the goddess or my Wolf.
'stop being delusional and quit the pretense, you like her too, that is the reason, you pulled her on top of you last night...'
'what are you saying Thunder, you fucking asked me to help her?'
'Yes, I did but I never said slept with her in your hands all night and wake up with a strong boner and at the elevator...'
'Enough...' I growl, and the next thing, he withdrew to the back of my mind.
"Damn you..." I growl, dragging my stuff, I am about to go out when Meredith's voice invades my head.
"Katerina is here?"
"Send her away, I do not want to see her"
"Get the fuck off my way." I heard her growl at Catherina, this dubious female, I guess Mother didn't ask her to come here, she just did on her own, I grabbed my phone and placed a call to Akira.
"There is a client at the door, I need you to attend to her."
