Akira's POV
"But sir..."
"Don't argue with me do as you are told."
"Fine, if I finish attending to the client, does it mean I could go to the concert with Casper?"
"Now you want to bargain with me?" He asked
"I am not, I am only requesting it from you."
"Fine, if you can, then you are free to."
"Alright, sir..." I said, signing. It's bad enough that he gave me this workload and now, I need to attend to a client, who could that client be that he couldn't attend to all by himself? Anyway, I kind of like this deal. It will allow me to attend the concert with Casper.
I sighed walking out of Meredith's office and making my way to the door of the office of Wolfie and me.
My eyes bulge seeing the fellow with Catherine. She was struggling so hard to push Katerina away. 'These two, their name could be confusing, I think their names are similar Catherine, and Katerina, just that their personalities are different, one is a demon while the other is an angel.' I scoffed ready to turn around and leave when Meredith's voice came from behind, and my body flinched.
"Hey, you scared me," I said clutching my chest.
"Sorry didn't mean to but Mr. Logan said you should attend to Katerina, that you should get rid of her." My eyes bulge. Disturbing lines appear on my forehead. It's her that Mr. Wolfie wanted me to discuss with, no wonder he was quick to accept my bargains. My lips form an O. "Are you scared of her?" I shut my eyes shaking my head.
"Why will I be scared of her?"
"Did you not say she is a wolf?" My lips drop open and I force a laughter, hitting Meredith's shoulders playfully.
"I did not say so, I only said she acts like one." I twitched my lips, this Meredith of a man will put me in trouble.
"So are you approaching her or not?" I parted my lips before I could say a word, his voice came up first, "You should give it a good thought before you make your decision because Mr. Logan, your Wolfie said that if you can't handle her then you should as well, forget about ever going to that concert with Casper."
"Fuck him... Weirdo..." I scoffed but Meredith put up a poker face. "I will scratch his handsome face after scratching his girlfriend's scary face," I murmured under my breath.
"So you think, he is handsome and his girlfriend is scary?" He asked behind me, I tilted my head to him, glaring at him before I tilted my head forward.
"He is not, he is ugly..." I glared at Meredith, ignoring his laughter before approaching that damn female, I put up a cumbersome smile.
"It's okay, Catherine, I will handle Miss Katerina." Catherine looked at me with a worried expression, "It's fine, I could handle her." I said before Catherine nodded and left me and Katerina.
This scary witch, looked at me from head to toe, she was scrutinizing me, I clenched my fist and gritted my teeth.
"Akira... Akira... Akira..." She called. "You don't learn, do you?" She snorted. "I guess we should chitchat a bit while waiting for my precious man, I heard he is in a meeting." I rolled my eyes, who told her, Wolfie was busy? He is not fucking busy, he is just sitting there bullying me like he owned me.
I pushed the door to the receiving area, while Katerina walked behind me, I didn't want to be in a closed room with her, although I was acting brave the truth is, I am still fucking scared of this female and even if everyone tells me that I am hallucinating, I couldn't wrap my head around and believe that Katerina is not possessed and I know I saw a wolf.
"I don't get you," I said crossing my legs because I was already sitting in the opposite direction of her, I was giving her a good distance. With the way Katerina is staring at me, I guess she is trying to compare her gorgeous self with me, I know. She is beautiful I will admit but she is a desperate bitch what is beauty without brains, if a man doesn't want you, no need to force yourself on him.
"How much do you want? Two million, three million? Name your price and get out of my man's office and used the fucking door, because I am sure, you are one of those gold diggers that wouldn't mind giving their body to men to get their way to the top."
My eyes narrow and my lips curve into a wicked grin, "is that what you are doing? Forcing your overused body on him and wanting to leech him of his money?" She glared at me. I don't fucking care, I stood up, I don't think there is a conversation here.
"Who do you think you are? Logan is my man and I not going to let any female come anywhere close to him. Not even you, you leech. I will chase Logan till he is mine completely." I chuckled at her words and I noticed my laughter had angered her and her eyes were turning red, that was what I saw at that elevator before the light went off.
"Miss. Katerina, if I were you, I wouldn't be so reckless, to behave barbaric here, the cameras are everywhere and I know you would not want people to get a video of you battling words with a commoner over a man, don't you think it's embarrassing, chasing a man."
Although my voice was low but I was freaking out inside and somehow I was enjoying the pale expression of my beloved friend, Miss Katerina.
"You are a loser, you are not fit to be beside him, don't say I didn't warn you. He is only going to use you and dump you."
I smirked as I took two steps closer to her, "I know, but he wanted me, he loved me, and I didn't even have to make a fuss before he came closer. I am the one he is begging for her attention, the one he could not get rid of, the one he loves to breathe her scent, and the one he wants to take to bed, I could give him, my body a thousand times because he is the one chasing me not the other way round. You brag about being his fiancee yet an insignificant female could terrorize you, if he loves you so much as you claim, I guess you don't have to feel threatened with another female around him."
"We are not over yet..." She growled as she strutted out.
"Such an annoying wolf." I scoffed
"Wolf?" Logan's voice came from behind me, I tilted my head to him.
'Fuck... This man, was he just there all this time?' I asked mentally, I wish the ground would open and swallow me, I can't believe I said those words to Katherine when Wolfie was just there.
"Who is a wolf?"
"No one, I passed your test right, I finally got rid of her, so can I go now," I said not looking at him, it's fucking embarrassing.
"No, you still can't go."
