Chapter 062
Akira's POV
"Hey Akira, wake up, you are dreaming." I jumped up and sat on the couch, gasping for air, as sweat covered my skin, I look at Vida, as I tried to catch my breath, wiping my face, my eyes move to the window, it's bright, 'did I fall asleep on the couch,' I asked inwardly as my eyes move to the television, "that was a fucking horrible dream." I murmured
"Are you okay?" She asked with concern. I nodded scrubbing my face with my palm, I didn't want to recall it, I didn't watch anything horrible while should I end up with some nightmare, gosh, that beast was so fucking close, it's all this naughty Vida's fault with all her hilarious idea.
"Yes, I am fine," I said wanting to get off the couch, shutting my eyes.
"C'mon Akira, you should tell me, what is going on?" I tilted my head to her.
"It's just some terrible dream that I could not wrap my head around," I huff, grabbing my phone, "don't worry, it's just a nightmare, a horrible one," I murmured.
"Alright, you should rest, Nightmares are common and maybe, your thoughts are occupied with horrible things, that is the reason you ended up with a nightmare. Just rest and I will go get us what to eat," I nodded to her as I walked into the bathroom, to wash up, my phone rang almost immediately.
"Hello Casper, why are you calling this early?" I said picking up my phone as I rested lazily on the wall of my room.
"It's past 8 Akira, don't tell me, you are just waking up," his voice soften and calm. I tilted my head up.
"Yes, I overslept the stress of yesterday I guess it's telling on me, anyways don't mind me, why are you calling no work?"
"Akira, it's Saturday..." I sighed pushing my hand into my hair, I was going insane. It's like my brain is no longer working, I am getting disorganized for no reason, I think Wolfie is part of my messed up thought, I don't want him turning out to be a wolf. I shake my head, my thoughts are wandering to Wolfie again while I am talking to Casper. "Hey, are you still there?" His voice came up, and I huffed.
"Pardon me, why did you call?" I asked for the second time.
"You are stressed, I will pick you up and take you to the cinema, I got two tickets for a movie, maybe we should go together, I guess that will help you ease your stress."
"Casper please," my voice was a little too high, I sighed knowing my outburst was uncalled for. I shouldn’t be doing that, to someone who helped me, "I am sorry but not today, I am a little bit under the weather, let's do it tomorrow."
"If that is what you want, I could wait," I huffed feeling guilty, he help me, and I haven't even shown him how I appreciate what he did for me and now I am acting like a bitch.
"I am sorry..." I murmured.
"I understand, maybe, it's a bad timing,"
"When is the movie, let me see if I could be able to make it."
"Six..."
"Alright, I will let you know before then if I could go with you?" I heard him chuckle from the other side of the phone.
"I am looking forward to it," he said with enthusiasm, "I will be waiting for your call," I smiled but I replied to him
"I will call you," I said before the phone went off, I sighed stripping my clothes one after the other before walking into the bathroom. Vida is still not back.
Standing under the shower, I recall the way the wolf's fangs and claws elongated and his eyes and words came flashing. "Mine..." I shut my eyes pushing it behind my mind, and the doorbell ding almost immediately.
"Vida, are you back so soon? Get in and stop dinging the bell, don't you have your keys?" I sighed when the bell rang again, I pulled my towel and wrapped it around my chest while I walked into the living room and pulled the door, my face came face to face with Wolfie, and I looked at him. "what are you doing here this early?" I asked wiping my face.
"Just want to drop this off," I look at the two tickets in his hand, which is a movie ticket.
"I don't have time, I will be busy, so I don't think I need the ticket," I said avoiding his gaze.
"Is it Casper, are you going on a date with him?" He asked with gritted teeth, his jaw muscle tightening yet his voice was low and alluring. I looked at him, this time my eyes found his and I could feel the pain building in him, I smirked he was jealous. I like this, maybe, I could push harder and clingy to Casper, so he could open his cute mouth and tell me, he loves me.
"Yes, Casper and I are seeing a movie later and I don't think I could go with you, since I have already agreed to go with him, maybe next time," I said then he ruffled his hair before he huffed.
"Just this last date right?" He asked and looked at him. "It's the last one and you promised to come home with me, it's there in the contract .." I glared at him, was with him and contract. "I am not trying to cage you, let me pick you off after the..." He paused his lips before he scrubbed his face with his palm, he sighed under his breath, "I can't believe I am doing this?" He murmured under his breath, before he huffed, "Akira please, let me..." I look at him, my lips curved into a smug grin, "are you laughing at me?"
"Fine, when I am done, I will come over to the Mansion,"
"No, I will come pick you up, I don't want you, walking in the night," he stressed the last part. I look at him, making sure my gaze doesn't leave his eyes, grey eyes, "mine..." I shut my eyes almost immediately, taking a step back.
"Are you okay?" He asked, and I nodded before I waved to him "I am fine, later..." I said before he could say any more words, I was about to shut the door when his hand grabbed my arm, and I looked at him.
"Akira, are you still mad at me, because of my choice of words the word mate, doesn't mean..."
I interrupted him, "I am not mad at you and I didn't say I am not moving into the Mansion, I am just tired, you know what my mom and sister did to me, it could be tiring, you know."
"If you are not mad at me, then let me hug you," my eyes bulge, and he twitched his lips, "please, let me hug you, I wouldn't ask for anything, just hug, nothing else," I shrugged my shoulder, pushing the door wide enough before he pulled me into a hug, pressing his lips on my neck, 'fuck...' I cursed under my breath. My body froze as he sucks my neck, tingles run down my veins and I could feel my core getting wet. My hands move suddenly.
"Akira..."
