Akira's POV
"Akira..." My body froze, hearing Vida's voice, Wolfie pulled from me, slowly, biting his lower lips before his hand moved to his nape.
"I will pick you up after the movie," he said not looking at my face, I was turning red with embarrassment, so I was grateful that he didn't look at me, he took big strides toward his car and slipped inside his car not bothering to look back. My eyes follow the car and then Vida's gaze moves from the direction that Wolfie's car went through to me, I know she was going to force those words from my lips, as her eyes rake my body, it's embarrassing, to think I was hugging a man at the entrance of our apartment with just a towel wrapped around my body
"Explain, what's up with you making out at the entrance," I shake my head, denying that I am not making out with Wolfie. I walked back into the building, "no secrets, I saw his lips on your neck, he was..."
"He was telling me something," I lie through my teeth, Vida narrows her eyes before she smug, and I avoid her gaze.
"I didn't realize that your sense of hearing is the skin of your neck?" I glared at her, and she chortled, "Akira that wasn't talking, people don't talk with towels wrapped around their chests. With lips press to the neck and hand snaking around the waist,"
"Was his hand on my waist?" I asked, I swear, I didn't notice it, the only thing I remember was him asking me, to hug him, to show I was not mad at him, and then his body came in contact with mine before I felt the wetness of his lips on my neck skin.
"Wow, she doesn't even know that his hand was wrapped around her waist, I guess if I didn't show up when I did, you and him could be giving everyone a free show, what do we call that? Sex at the door," I grabbed the pillow and threw it to her. Vida was teasing me. That is what she is good at. Bantering
"You are crazy, I am not having sex with him," I scoff
"I didn't say now, I am talking about the future, and where is that sexy assistant of his?" I move my gaze to Vida, watching her face, as they light up, as she asks after Meredith.
"Are you falling for Meredith?" She narrowed her gaze as her lips curved into a lopsided smile.
"Is that his name?" Her smile widened, "does he have a girlfriend? If he doesn't then I am falling for him,"
"Vida..."
"Gotcha..." She giggled before she pulled the glass of milk towards her lips, "he is handsome but I don't want to get heartbroken, so I am better off single. Falling in love is taking a trip to the sky with a private jet and letting up the window and jumping off, especially with a mogul" I scratched my hair, I was falling for Wolfie but I wasn't even bothered about his status, he is an elite while I am nobody, I don't even know my mother, where does that leave me? "hey, don't give me that face, you have nothing to worry about, Wolfie is a man of his words, if you fall for him, he is going to catch you."
I didn't counter Vida's words, the day went by fast and before we knew it, it was noon already, Vida was preparing to go to work while I was dressing up to finally have that long-awaited date with Casper, that Wolfie didn't let happen for long. I was wearing a simple gown with my hair tied in a ponytail.
I heard the sound of Casper's car, and I hurried out, grabbing my things with me, "hi!" I said as I came closer to him, he smiled, resting his head on the window of his car.
"Hey dear, you look stunning," I blushed biting my lower lips. "are you blushing?" I shook my head feeling embarrassed, "C'mon, you look good wearing that nice smile," his words made my cheeks redden. "hop in," he withdrew his head into the car while he pushed the passenger seat door open, I slipped into the car.
"Thanks, so where are we going?" I asked, and he tilted his gaze to me, "I know you said Cinema, I just want to know which of the cinemas?"
"Oh!" He said pushing the ticket to me, my eyes scanned the tickets searching for the cinema's name, after getting the name, I pushed it back to him, "So what movie would you like to see?" His voice came up. I tilted my head to him.
"Romance," I said without blinking, "horror and suspense are never my thing, unless you like that, and you should be willing to have your eardrum damaged after tonight, I am a screamer," I added, and his gaze narrowed as they focus on me, his expression was showing something different before he tilts his head back to the road.
"Then it's Romance, I should pass this time," I smiled.
"Is the almighty CEO scared of my screaming," he smirked.
"Not really, maybe not today, so come let's go." He said pulling the car door, this time, he got to the side of my car and pulled from me, I moved my hand and dropped it on his but the feeling was different, I don't understand, I just felt tingles whenever Wolfie held my hand but with him, it's nothing.
I shake my head, I shouldn't be thinking of Wolfie when I am with Casper. He grabbed my hand pulling me from my thoughts as we walked into the biggest multiplex in the city, I have dreamed of coming here but who am I? Just a girl. A girl could only dream.
I stared at the place in awe, it's beautiful. Casper asked me to sit while he bought some popcorn. Suddenly I started feeling weird, like someone was watching me. I looked around, hoping I could get a glimpse of whoever it was that was stalking me but there was no one. If I had sent Wolfie the address, I would have thought he was the one and he had left hours ago before Casper arrived. I huffed seeing him walking back to me, "c'mon dear, let's go inside the movie is about to start," he said with a beaming smile and I didn't want to burst his bubbles with my paranoia that someone was watching us. But that didn't stop me from becoming too restless, I was looking behind too frequently for me not to get noticed.
"Are you alright?" Casper asked I moved my gaze to him, "Are you alright?" he asked for the second time.
"I think we are been watched?" His eyes bulge.
