Akira's POV
"Mother, my stuff." I banged at the door. "Open up."
"Go away, I thought you said, you were fed up with us, so get lost."
"If this is some kind of prank, cut it out, I do not have that fucking time," I yelled hitting the door.
"No one is pranking you here, you say you want out and you are fed up, so here is your freedom Party, you are free to get lost." Mother screamed at me through the window since the door was already shut.
"Fine, let me have my stuff."
"Everything you own belongs to my beautiful daughter and those wears, you got in there, they are beautiful and expensive, I guess Ethan was right, you are sleeping around."
"Fuck..." I curse, kicking the door for the umpteenth times
"Go away before we call the cops." Linda's voice rang from behind the door. I shut my eyes while clutching my fingers wishing I scratch her face.
"Ah..." I screamed before trying to compose myself because a lady was looking at me, I fake a smile, as I arranged my hair.
"Hello..." I said smiling awkwardly before she shook her head and tilted head forward. 'What a waste.' then it dawned on me, those wears weren't purchased by me.
Wolfie will kill me, if I appear on those poor outfit again and fuck me, where do I even go from here. Shit, what a bad week. I screamed banging the door one last time, when either mother nor Linda attempt to open the door, "asshole..." I groan before turning around, "I am leaving for now but it's not over, yet," I groan.
I decided to head to Vida's, she was my only option at this point.
I was making my way out of the building and out of the estate, I did not want to book for cab, probably I need the air to cool off, because I was burning inside. I was walking a great deal when I noticed a car was following me. I didn't want to pay attention to the driver, even when he was honking, "idiot, isn't the road big enough for pedestrians and car users." I cursed inward, before I heard the sound of a car door bang, and knew whoever was driving that car, was heading toward me.
"Miss..." He called, I know he was referring to me but I was not stopping, I deep my hand into my handbag, getting ready to pressed spray on his face, if he tries shit with me, he dragged my hand before I could even get hold of the spray and I swatted it from him before tilting my head to him.
"Didn't your mother teach you that it's an offense to grabbed a lady's hand?" I said folding my hand's under my bosom. He shut his eyes and then inhale loudly, I just looked at him, my lips parted but I shut it almost immediately. 'he is cuter than before...' I murmured checking him out, '...but not as cute as Mr. Wolfie, the dangerous grumpy old man.' I smirked, hearing those words that I called Wolfie in my head, I just shook my head giving the strangers that stoic expression.
"I apologize, it's just that you look so familiar, did you by chances attended..."
I interrupted him, "How old are you again?" He stared surprised and lost at the same time. "No need, I guess you are eight hundred years old because those pickup lines don't work around here, they are overused, and I don't..."
"Yes, it's you, Akira Ross, don't you remember me, Casper..." his face lit up with excitement and his eyes beamed, I smiled, and his expression became overly unnecessary, "You do, Casper..."
"No, I don't..." I said cutting him short. My reaction left him confused again.
"I thought..."
"Stop thinking get off my way, and look for the next female that we buy that your archaic pickup line." I said walking away, not letting him say any more words, I rolled my eyes as I mimicked him, 'Yes, it's you, Akira Ross, and I am Casper Adams... How can I forget that face that makes my sister torture me every day that it was her that met him first before we became friends... Yuck! He is not even as hot as Wolfie' I said under my breath.
"Hey slow down Akira..." He said blocking my entrance.
"What the fuck is this, I told you I don't know any Casper Adams..." I bite my lower lips knowing that I have goof badly. He didn't add his last name. I just added his last name. I guess that he had found out that I remembered him and that I was just in denial but I was not letting him have his way, I was still going to pretend that I had no idea who he was, and my face returned to that stoic expression. I have so much trouble already and I am not adding another that will make my sister strangle me and create more trouble for me.
"So you remember me?"
"No, I don't, I only see you on TV, CEO of Adams Group, everyone talks about you, so I should know about you, the hottest bachelor in town, I heard friends talk about you, so I know your name but not personally," I said trying not to stammer.
"Oops! She doesn't recognize me." He said loud, I rolled my eyes at him.
'always as stupid as ever, who told him I don't recognize him?' I said mentally.
"Fine, I guess, you didn't remember, I was your sister's friend..."
"Is it my sister you are looking for? There, over there, that is the house she lives with her perfect mother." I scoffed.
"I didn't say I am looking for her, I am just..."
"Trying to confuse me and make me accept that I know you." I cut his words off, yes, my actions amaze him, I was never like this, they made me like this, always at the mercy of others, you need to learn when to draw the line and fight back, from now on, I am fighting back, every fucking one that hurts me, I am not giving a chance for them to walk over me and that is true, I am starting now and he happened to be my first lesson practical. "Excuse me..." I said.
"Fine, at least, let me drop you or get your..." I snapped my head, I felt someone was watching me, and my heart raced, I knew it was not Linda or Mother because they wouldn't hide if they were to do that. "Akira..." he called snapping me from my thoughts, my gaze moved to him. "are you alright?" He asked.
"I am fine, you were saying?"
"I said if I could get your..." My thoughts wandered back to the direction, I could feel that someone was watching me, just when the fellow was about to withdraw into his hiding, I caught his gaze. "Meredith..." I murmured, Casper looked at me lost. "Just come out, I have seen you already?" I said ignoring Casper that is staring lost at me. Slowly he came out of his hiding, his gaze moving to Casper and his mouth dropped, he wanted to refer to him by a name but in the end, he used something else, I know it wasn't Casper because if it was his lips would have open wild instead of been narrow.
"Hi..."
"Hi! What are you doing here?" I asked.
"The thing is, I was here for business and then I found you, so you live around here?" He asked, I shook my head and grabbed Casper's hand, and he tilted his head to me.
"Yes and no..." He looked at me lost.
Xs"Yes because I used to live here and no because I just moved in with my fiancé."
"Your what?"
"My fiancé? Got a problem with it." He shakes his head.
"The..." He paused. "Logan wants to see you, he heard what happened and he felt guilty of..."
"Is not his fault his wolf of a..." I pause.
