Akira's POV
Sixteen years after the twin's birth.
I could hear the sound of the wind, as it blew against my hair, with my hand intertwined with Vida's seven years old daughter, she is the youngest in the circle but she is as feisty as the others, If not worse, I know she got the energy from Vida and a little touch of stubbornness from her father, she told me, she wanted to watch, the shifters, since it's a full moon but her father and mother didn't bring her thinking she is too young to do that, although I would have said the same thing. But this seven years old, Winter, had tricked me into giving her a pinky promise before requesting that I bring her there, I know I should have insisted on what she wanted first, before accepting it was too late, so here, I am bringing her to the clearing, we still have a few blocks to get to the clearing when we heard Raine's voice, Alpha Casper's son, calling out to Winter.
"Winter..." He called increasing his step. "Good day, Luna Akira." He bowed slightly, taking my hands and pressing his head against it, he is only eleven years old, but he is acting more like an Alpha.
"Good day, how are you? And what are you doing here?"
"Oh! Everyone is busy with the full moon and pup shifting, so I decided to take a break from it..." He said with all seriousness, my brows furrow, staring ahead, trying to see who he came with. "Stop worrying yourself, I came with a warrior, even though I don't think I need one." With the boldness in his voice, one would have thought that he had his Wolf already. I parted my lips to say something but Winter beat me to it.
"Mother said, all alpha, are supposed to assist their pack members to get their wolves." He shrugged his shoulder
"I am not an Alpha yet, I am just a boy chasing fun." My eyes squinted, staring at him and his choice of words and then he pulled Winter's hands, "C'mon let's play, I have something to show you." My eyes bulge looking at the nonchalant attitude of Raine.
"But I wanted to..."
"Ew... Nothing is interesting to watch, just some fucking sound of broken bones and howl of wolves..."
"But..."
"Who should you believe, him or me?" I don't know the male, they were talking about but Winter's eyes light up, and she pulls his hand, giving him that smug grin.
"You!" Her voice was filled with trust for Raine.
"Now be a good girl, let's go." He pulled her, and although Winter was willing to go with him, I could still feel that she wanted to watch.
"Go on, I will wait for you, we still have hours to the full moon," I murmured to her and she whispered.
"You are the best..." I was still looking in the direction they were going when I felt an arm snake around my waist and then pull me into a cabin in the woods. I giggled as his scent hit me, even without his scent, I knew it was only Wolfie, who could appear from nowhere behind me.
His nose nuzzles my neck, inhaling my scent, while his arm circles my waist, "I missed you..."
"But we just saw each other, a few minutes ago"
"I know but a few minutes is way too much and there are too many males at the clearing waiting for the moon, and I have no idea of how fast the moon will appear because I want to be cuddled."
"Wolfie?"
"Hmmm..."
"So you excuse yourself just to be with me?" He ran his fingers through his hair, he was supposed to be there, with those wolves shifting, since it's a full moon and we are hoping that one of our pups will shift today, Wolfie told me, that alpha males get their wolves younger than the female, that the female might turn eighteen first before their wolves surface, but he had no idea since Summer came out first while Xavier, was second but whatever the case, we are here for our pup and we will wait patiently for the goddess, to give them one when the time is right.
"Isn't it obvious?"
"Of course, it is and I wondered while your beta and gamma don't know yet. Sixteen years, and you haven't changed." I bite my lower lips, fighting hard to keep myself from giggling, knowing what Wolfie's lips are doing to my neck.
"Who cares? As long as I could sniff your scent every day of my life, I couldn't care less..." His nose nuzzles me before he dragged his lips on my neck, "fuck... You smell nice Akira."
"You are getting older and hornier."
"It's because of you." His voice came up hungrily, as he trailed kisses from my neck down my cheeks, before they found their way to my lips, and feasted on them like some starving lion.
My lust was spiraling out of control, and I knew I would find myself having sex with Wolfie right here, in the middle of the forest, which was not new, we had sex everywhere, we had practically marked all the areas in this Pack, how no one bump into us, was one thing that l have no idea of.
Wolfie was a perfect gentleman, the perfect male, I wanted in my life, and one I had ever known but sometimes, he turned a completely different male, from the one, everyone knew when it's just the two of us, he could turn into a beast, the beast I love that is an Alpha. And I am not complaining, I like the calm and beast side of him.
I love Wolfie and if I am given a third chance at life, I will still pick this male, and no one else, I couldn't forget the first day, I walked into his office, the first day, I saw the face of the masked male, sitting behind the table, I love him, and I know I wanted to end up with him.
Life throws a lot at us, but we are still here, we are still shriving and we are getting stronger and ready to fight it all. I was still basking in his kisses and touches when his body stiffened, I know, gamma Austin might probably be mind-linking him. 'Alpha, where are you, are you kissing right now?'
'keep your fucking mouth shut, and get off my head.' he growled, my body froze, the naughty Austin had just sent me a voice note on my phone, and since he couldn't mind link me, slowly, I pulled for Wolfie dropping my legs that were snake around him.
"Xavier and the rest of the pup just shifted and we are waiting for the alpha to lead the run."
"oh... We will be right there." I said smiling, knowing that one of our pups just shifted, I pulled Wolfie's hand. "we have to go." Wolfie frown.
"Can't they just run without me, I want to be with you." His voice is low like a pup asking for candy.
"C'mon, you have me every night, Alpha Logan Wolfie Stark, so stop complaining."
"But I want more, just you and only you." He pushed his lips toward me again, ready to claim my lips when my arms blocked his lips.
"We have kids, and the pack to run, so let's go have the first race with our pup." He still wanted to complain, I turned and then I screamed. "I race you to the other side, get there before me and there is a reward..."
"What is my reward? Am I getting laid?" I turned and glared at him
"Pervert..."
"You turned me into one, my happiness, the mate, I always wanted, after many years, I still want you and only you." He winked at me.
"Catch your happiness if you can," I said as I sprang off running towards my son, who just shifted, while I basked in the words of the male, I always love, the male in my heart and will always be here.
Sixteen years after I met Wolfie, I became the woman, I never knew I had inside, I found myself, my true identity, of being a fay, and a mate to a wolf, not just a wolf, an Alpha wolf.
All my life, I just wanted a mate, who loved me and could give up everything just to be with me, a simple life, I never thought that I could get a whole package.
Never thought, I could be a mate, to a perfect male, a mate to an Alpha, a Luna to a Pack, and a mother to two lovely kids. I got scared that I might not make a good leader because I had no idea of how to rule.
But with Wolfie, everything was perfect, just like him, I didn't have to sweat, and I didn't have to feel inadequate, because he was a perfect lover and a mate to this fae.
