Akira's POV
"Where the fuck did you get that?" He ruffles his hair in frustration, "Get into the car and let me explain everything to you, and no one is calling you a call girl..." I smirked at him moving closer to him, before I leaned into him, my breath fanning his neck.
"You will not lure me, I am not getting into that car with you because I know you will never explain it to me," I whisper before I pulled from him, "so fuck off." I jabbed his chest.
"Akira..."
"Leave me alone," I snarled at him walking towards Vida that her eyes had been roving between the both of us.
"Such a stubborn brat," he snarled hitting his car Tyre before he screamed holding his legs, "What the fuck?" I winked at him, I liked the frustration, I saw on his face and it made me giggle.
I pulled the door, of the cab, and slipped into it before I pushed my head out of the window, "boss, I will see you at the office on Monday, enjoy your weekend," I said blowing a kiss at him, and his eyes dilated, I noticed his chest muscles flinch, "so fucking hot," I murmured before I slipped back into the car, with my gaze moving to the car roof, "I wish you could be mine and not the other way round," I murmured under my breath, while Vida gaze move to me, as the car zooms off leaving Wolfie behind.
"You love him while are you pushing him away, you could accept everything, he dishes out, you could make him fall in love with you, move in with him, I know he loves you," I move my gaze to her.
"He doesn't love me, he just doesn't want Casper around me." I huffed, "I don't know but it seems they are in some kind of competition, no one wants to lose to the other, I was just bait in Wolfie's web," I sighed, and Vida shook her head.
"I don't think so, all I see is a man in love but doesn't know how to go about it, I think he cares about you and if he doesn't he wouldn't have been here when you call him," I shake my head.
"I didn't call him, it was Casper that I called, I am just as surprised as you to see him there, waiting for me,"
"No wonder his egos were bruised, I saw how he growled when you said, you have no one except for Casper, he is acting like a..." Vida pauses, "Are you sure you are not his mate if he is a..."
I interrupted her, "Vida shut up, you are at it again and now my head is pounding, I need to rest and look for ways to get my mother off my back," I said pulling the door of the car while I walked towards our house.
"Your mom dropped the charges and I don't think she will bother you again," I move my gaze staring at her, "I was there, I don't know what they told her, but I saw her grumbling before she left the prison and dragging Linda away with her, I don't think she liked the outcome but I am sure, she wouldn't come after you, for a long time, so you have nothing to worry about."
"Even at that, I am not letting Wolfie, use me as a sexual partner," Vida's gaze became stronger, she wasn't glaring at me but with the way her brow hiked, I knew she didn't believe me, "you don't believe me?" I asked and she shook her head.
"The male I saw standing beside that car, is too innocent to use those kinds of words, and gosh, why didn't you tell me, he is so fucking hot and a teenager." I narrowed my gaze at Vida, did she just refer to Wolfie as a teenager? "He is super handsome,"
"Vida, stop exaggerating, you didn't even see his face," she blushed.
"So tell me, did he call you, a sexual partner," I rolled my eyes.
"He didn't but he called me, his mate and the word mate means..."
"Wife..." My eyes bulge looking at my insane friend, "Yes Akira, if he is a wolf, it only means, the moon goddess gifted..."
"Wait, what did you just say?" I narrowed my eyes as the word goddess flew out of Vida's mouth.
"I said wife, the word mate means wife or husband, like your life partner in the wolf world..." I shake my head.
"The word you said after that,"
"Moon goddess?" She asked and nodded.
"The moon goddess is their Creator, she is responsible for matching them with their..." I held my head, shaking it, so violently.
"Vida, please stop, stop messing with my head," I said standing up from the couch, she grabbed my hand, "What?"
"Will you stop loving Wolfie, if you find out he is a wolf?" She asked looking at my eyes.
"He is not a wolf," I said swatting her hand off me before her voice came up again.
"Why is it so difficult for you to say yes or no? Is it because you love him too much and don't want to accept the possibility that he might be a wolf or the fact that you don't want him to be a wolf because you can't stop loving him?" I tilted my head to Vida and then smiled at her
"It's because I know he is a man, not a wolf, a wolf is a wolf and a man is a man and Wolfie is a man,"
"What about a wolfman?"
"Go to work Vida, I am sure Lady Cassandra will be looking for you," I said not giving her a chance to fill my head with those weird words.
Everything seems fucking weird and I don't believe it, I think she is messing up with me, she is trying to make me believe that those creatures exist, I walked into my room, fell on my bed, then Vida's words came to my head. Mate? Wolf world? Moon goddess? Wolfman? They don't exist they are just in writers' heads. A made-believe stories. I murmured those words in my head.
I tried to push Vida's words off my head, 'Wolfie is a human, not a wolf,' I rehearse those words like I wanted them to sink into my skull.
After Vida left for work, I was left alone at the apartment, I stared at my phone multiple times, hoping Wolfie's number would pop up on my screen but that didn't happen, it was just Casper's call, that was popping in now and then, "oh please leave me alone," I scoff, I just switch my phone on do not disturb before I grabbed a movie to watch.
The screen dim light popped as the movie began, I was watching A Runaway Royal Romance, I don't know I seemed to like the movie being because I love the female lead, Philippa Northeast, I sunk onto the couch as the movie unfolded, then my mind wonder to Wolfie, wishing we could have a love story like this.
"Akira," his hand grabbed me.
"Where are we going?" I asked, holding so tight to him.
"I want to show you something,"
"What's that?"
"It's a surprise, just stay here I will be right back," he said, my gaze trailing him till he was completely out of sight
I stood there waiting for him to return and then heard the sound of figs moving, my gaze traced it and I saw a wolf with grey eyes emerge from the dark, and my breath stopped.
His eyes dilated, I saw him flick his tongue across his lips, emitting a loud growl, as he barred his fangs at me, his eyes fleck red, he snapped his head side by side as if he wasn't convinced, yet his gaze fall back to me, "Mate..." He let out another growl as his burning gaze fixed on me. He reaches out his front paws as he inches to grab me, I whimper, trying to escape his grip.
"No," I screamed, trying to push him away, "stopped..." My hand moved to push him away but his grip tightened on me, pinning me with his large body before his fangs grazed my neck.
"Mine..."
