Logan's POV
"I want to..." I pulsed my lips struggling to stop those words that were building in my throat, her eyes were focused on me while my eyes were locked on her tempting lips. I got the urge to grab her and taste her lips again not just her lips but that sweet scent oozing from between her legs last night, I wanted to take her and ravish her body last night but I knew I shouldn't be doing that.

I nodded, and fear crept onto her face, I could see she was really scared, she wasn't faking it, I burst into laughter, the expression on her face was enough to make me laugh like a Maniac, "you are not going to ask for my life?" She asked feeling embarrassed, I shook my head.
"What will I gain if I kill you?" She lower her gaze, biting her lower lips while she fidget with the Hem of my big t-shirt on her, 'she looks fucking hot in it,' my wolf said in my head, 'maybe, you could command her, so she strip,' I choke on Thunder's words.
This barbaric wolf of mine, I know he would even give a fuck if I force myself on Akira.
"Stop laughing, it's not funny," she said, not wanting to look at my face. Her face was turning red.
"Sorry..." I mouthed pushing Thunder behind my mind, "You needed to see the look on your face, so you thought I could ask for your life?" I asked this time, she moved her gaze to me and shook her head, I let out a breath of relief, at least, she didn't think I was a beast yet or maybe, she was just putting up a facade, so I don't get offended.
"Now tell me, what do you want in return cause I need to go on that date?" I motioned for her to come closer so I could tell her what I wanted she took a step closer to me and leaned in, I moved my hand and tugged the strands of hair flying on her face, behind her ear, and my lips moved closer to the neck of her skin, my breath fanned it, "what are you doing?" She asked with a shaking voice I guess my closeness was affecting her and she was gripping my shirt. "I want to tell you, what I want for my payment?" She gasped for breath when my lips brushed the neck of her skin, "I want to taste your..."
"Logan, are you still sleeping? I have some information for..." The door leading to the dining section pulled open and Meredith's face came up. "Oh uh... Akira, what... Sorry, am I interrupting something..." I distance myself from her and my gaze focuses on Meredith, who is looking at me and then at her, I clear my throat.
"Ahem... You should finish your tea, and don't worry, when the time comes I will let you know hoping you wouldn't say no to it." I said in one breath motioning for Meredith to follow me to the study. His gaze was locked on mine as soon as I pushed the door of the room, I ran my hand on my neck.
"Wow, that was fast..."
"Shut up Meredith, nothing is going on with the both of us, she just happened to be in trouble and I brought her here and she was in her heat and fuck, I have no idea humans go into heat when they are fated to wolves, it's a good thing, I was there to rescue her from that beast and.."

"Yes, I am, I want her door beside mine," he whew, "her father, did you find him?"
"Mother stop please..." The anxious voice of Akira reached my ear and I guess Meredith heard that as well, because he didn't answer my question, his eyes were focused on the direction, by eyes were focus and the door cracking open.
