Akira's POV
"Hey dear, what's going on here? Are they bullying you?" My heart palpitations increased, and a scent hit me, I don't think I have inhaled the scent before but it felt familiar.
I turned slowly and met the face of the young man who was with the old man at the Park, "I almost thought, you didn't show up because Grandpa and I were waiting for the call from the securities when you turned over your invitation," I look at him surprised was I supposed to be scared with the interest the old man and him had on me? "And why are you in the middle of these girls, are they bullying you?" I could hear the sour comment coming from the females beside us.
I shake my head giving him that sheepish smile.
"No, Roe, I was just looking for someone when they blocked my way." I didn't know what made me use his first name but I think the girls didn't like that I was on a first name-basis with him and my naive sister was glaring at me.
The sudden calmness was enough to show that, they didn't want to get in the black book of him. Knowing he could throw them out since his grandfather was the host.
He nodded to me, "Oh, I thought they were bullying you,"
"No, they aren't," I said.
"Then fine, come with me,"
"Wait, I came with..."
"CEO Casper?" I shake my head and then he looks at me surprised, "then who? I thought CEO Casper is your..." He paused before he shook his head. "Sorry me and my assumption, so tell me who my baby cousin came with."
"Cousin?" My eyes bulged repeating the word, he tittered, looking at me before he pulled my hand.
"Didn't my Grandpa say you are my aunty's daughter? So it's only right that you turned out my cousin."
"Sound logical," I giggled as well, and I didn't push his hand off me, I felt so comfortable with his hand intertwined with mine.
"So if you don't mind me asking, who did you come here with? And had the guts to leave you without protection? Didn't he know the parties for elites are parties for bullying?"
"Really? And you and Grandpa didn't tell me that as well?" I said walking beside him as he led me up to the balcony, it's a good spot to scan the area and find whoever I was looking for.
"Our bad, we would have taken your contact but it's not bad, the good thing is you are here, and don't worry as soon as Grandpa is done with his announcement he will be joining us." He pulled out a chair for me.
"Wouldn't your Grandpa scold you for bringing me to your family table?" I asked seeing the caption on the table.
"No, in fact, if he was left for Grandpa, he would have brought you over there," he pointed at another table that I think had a female and his son already sitting.
"Those are your family too?" I asked.
"Yeah, my grand aunty and her son,"
"Oh," was all I said before my eyes scanned the entire area, still searching for Wolfie.
"Still searching for the fellow, why not give me his name so I announce that he is needed here?" My eyes bulge looking at him surprised. What's up with the world of the elites? Do they think before they act? "Don't give me that look, he is making you worried and I think when he finally arrives, I should give him some whips for making the family jewel sad and worried."
"Hey, with the way you pampering me, I could get so comfortable with stealing the space of your cousin when I am not."
"You are not..." I didn't hear the rest of the words because my attention was focused on my phone calling Wolfie and he was disconnecting it. All disappointed and feeling neglected, I thought of standing up to go to the restroom.
"Are you alright?" Roe asked having that concern on his expression.
"I want to use the restroom,"
"Oh... It should be..."
"Fuck him?" I curse seeing Wolfie's hand intertwined with Katerina walking into the hall from the main door.
My lips tighten, anger surges me, and jealousy reeks of me. I sat back on the chair while clenching my fist beside me. My eyes follow every step that he takes till he pulls a seat for Katerina, his wonderful girlfriend, how can I forget that?
Watching her hand all over him was enough to make me want to puke. Irritation and jealousy were spreading all over my body. I wanted Katerina out of his life.
I was looking at him when he finally secured his bride on the seat, he finally remembered he had come here with his mistress, my phone ping suddenly I grabbed and it was his name that popped up.
[Where are you?]
[Busy with people who care about me.] I didn't blink before replying to him.
[Akira stop it, this isn't funny? Where are you? You know I can't leave you alone in these bully dens?]
[Wow... Did you just realize that it was a bully den before you abandoned me for hours?]
[Hey slow down, it's just some freaking thirty minutes.]
[Enough to get killed and forgotten.]
[Akira stop it, just let me have a glimpse of you, it's suffocating you know.]
[I don't know about that, the only thing I know is you getting enough air and just need your mistress to satisfy your urges.] My eyes were focused on him when I typed that, and I saw him chuckle before he flicked his tongue across his lips.
[Am I smelling jealousy? If it was then it's cool but it is making me burn between my thighs.] I scoff reading his message 'Such a pervert,' I said mentally
[And I am going to make sure, it consumes you without burning out.] I send then switched off my phone before any of his messages popped up in my scream, my gaze moving to Roe who was staring at me.
I moved my fingers subconsciously and tugged my hair behind my ear, feeling uncomfortable under his watch.
"Stop being nervous, I don't bite, even if I bite not my sister," I force a chuckle, and he pushed a glass of wine to me.
"I don't drink..." I pushed the wine back remembering what Ethan did to me.
"I didn't spark it," he said running his hand on my forearm.
"I didn't say you..."
"It's fine, you need to be careful," he said this time running his hand on my hair and pulled a little harder.
"Aw..."
"Sorry, just trying to get some dent from it."
"Oh..." I said sipping from the drink with my eyes focused on Wolfie and Katerina that is all over him before I knew what was happening Roe leaned a little closer.
"Was he the one you are searching for?" He points his fingers in Wolfie and Katerina's direction. I parted my lips to deny, "Don't worry big brother is here for you, let's make him jealous."
"Uh..."
"Ladies and gentlemen, without wasting more time, let's open the stage with the first dance of the day, Grandpa Shan Hart, has decided that he is not dancing today because he is too old for that but he is allowing us to watch his grandson, Roe Anderson has the first dance with a special someone we held her name is Akira Ross..." My lips dropped staring at him, while my index finger went to my chest.
