Akira's POV
My eyes lash flicker and my lips automatically curl into a lopsided grin as Wolfie's light snort reaches my ear. They say all men snort badly but Wolfie's own is mild and I like it.
I smile, I wouldn't mind if he is a wolf, as long as I wake up every morning in this position with him, his arm wrapped around me and my leg snakes around him, then I remember all the naughty things we did last night. Since Wolfie and I met, I don't think we had marathon sex like last night, it was endless bliss, and Wolfie had told me, it's my heat and that it's a full moon, there is still a lot I have to learn about the wolf but for now, I am enjoying everything that comes with being the mate to Wolfie. I didn't know I was capable of being aroused for a long period.
Wolfie was being gentle with me and he was treating me like some fragile egg, that he didn't want to crush. I move my hand and run my fingers through his tattoo, they look a little dim today not like the first time I saw them maybe, it's getting old and it's not a permanent one, I said mentally before pulling my body a bit, and press soft kisses on his nose. "good morning..." I murmured but he didn't move, he was still sleeping which was unlike Wolfie, those times that we were at Vida's apartment, Wolfie always woke up early or probably because he didn't want Vida to see him spend the night there but this is not also his place. I said mentally but my eyes moved to the window that was when I realized we were at the mansion no longer in that Pack of his Alpha's friend, as he said, 'Did I fall asleep and he carried me here?' I asked no one in particular, I just stood up from the bed gently not wanting to wake him up, I walked into the bathroom, I wasn't wearing anything so there was nothing to get off my skin, I was walking toward the shower when my eyes caught my reflection on the mirror, I was glowing, I wondered what was happening to my skin. "What the fuck is happening to my skin?" I snarled suddenly.
"Nothing is happening to you? Just the fact that my wolf mate with you."
"You what?" I asked confused.
"My wolf..." My eyes bulge watching Wolfie standing in front of me and I try to cover myself with my arm, he smirked. "I have seen everything and stop covering it." He said nonchalantly as he moved to heat the water.
"Wolfie?" I called out and he hummed.
"Hmmm..."
"Is it true that..."
"Yes, he marks you and..." He paused.
"And what?"
"Yes, he had sex with you but not in his wolf form." I breathe out, I don't think I am comfortable mating with a beast right now, I know with time, I will warm up to that but for now, I don't want to mate with a beast and then my hands went to my lips, knowing that my actions might have given the wrong impression that I don't want him.
"Oh... Hope he doesn't feel that I don't want him?" I murmured.
"No, he understands and he is okay with that he still doesn't know how to control himself around you and he doesn't want to crush you but the bite on your shoulder he did that." He said before he turned his gaze, "he said..."
"I love you," Wolfie's eyes widened before I looked at him, "isn't that what he said?" He shakes his head, my gaze becomes stronger on him. "What did he say if not that?"
He moved from me, and touched the water, "you might not want that."
"Why did you think so? What is it?" He moved closer and pushed me back against the tiles wall, my eyes bulged, and he shook his head and sighed in frustration.
"Stop it Thunder, give me back control," he growled at his wolf and I laughed suddenly.
"Thunder wants to come out?" I asked and he struggled to nod.
"Hey baby, please give me back Wolfie."
"No..." He growled, his expression was enough to tell me what he was doing. Wolfie was already baring his fangs at me. At any second he is going to shift completely into his wolf, I don't know if it's dangerous for him, so I try to prevent it, I raise my head patting Wolfie's head like I am touching his wolf. I smooth my hand on his neck, visualizing thunder, my nose went to his snout.
I cupped his face before I spoke to him, "I know you can hear me, I just want Wolfie back not because I don't want you but because I know it's dangerous to shift into that now, and I promise I will let you touch me in your wolf form, next time." I said speaking softly to him and slowly I could feel the aura he was emitting was no longer as strong as the first time, which meant Wolfie was back, I smiled kissing his lips. "that was wonderful," he murmured, looking at me. "He likes you..."
"And I like him too," I said with a high-pitched voice. He smiled before he pulled me under the shower, "Enough playing around this morning, I had something to show you and discuss with you."
"What's that?" I asked.
"Stop asking it's a surprise,"
"Surprised?" I asked and he nodded. "Tell me, what is it?"
"Hey, you this naughty girl, why will I tell you? Surprises are meant to be unlocked not the other way round."
"Fine, is it something I will love?" He squinted before he chuckled.
"Of course you will,"
"You are going to propose to me?" He tittered before he pushed my head slightly.
"You don't need a ring to be mine, you are mine already." He said pecking my lips before he pulled me under the shower, I knew if I let him wash my body it wouldn't turn out well, so I grabbed the soap.
"I will do that myself so we can get out of here on time." He smirked before pulling from me and going to his section of the bathroom, we both showered but we didn't do anything intimate, after the shower, Mr. Williamson had already prepared breakfast for Wolfie and me. I was so much in a hurry to unlock the surprise that Wolfie said he had for me that I didn't waste time with the meal, at one point, I almost choked on my meal and Wolfie just laughed at my actions while offering water.
It's all his fault, that I was becoming so desperate, "yeah, the meal is over so can I get my surprise now?" I said smiling at him, Mr. Williamson almost chuckled at my words because we were still at the dining and I had that last meal stuck in my mouth.
"You still have..." Before Wolfie completes his words, I chew and swallow the last piece of food in my mouth and wipe with the napkin after taking a glass of water.
"Excited to know the surprise?" He asked and I nodded. "Come with me." He pulled me into his study and then grabbed out an envelope and threw it on the table. "What's this?"
"Open it." He said and I shrugged my shoulder before breaking the seal, it's a piece of paper, my brows furrowed as I looked at him. "Stop glaring, I did a DNA test on you and Amelia Hart since you said that you got a hunch that you both are related and that necklace that you have been carrying all along before your mother and sister deprived you of it was Grandpa's Shan family heirloom, so it got me curious and I wanted your mind to rest." He said having that playful grin on his lips.
"What did it say?" I asked even when it was in my hand, I couldn't read it. My hand was shaking badly.
